Hover Junkers is the first proper FPS game on Vive that takes full advantage of its VR aspects by weaving physical movements into the gameplay. The feeling of immersion is taken to new heights when you actually have to aim your weapon and take cover as you would in real life. [Sept 2016]

Hover Junkers proves Roomscale VR systems like the Vive aren't gimmicks but the future of gaming. Hover Junkers just made every non-VR shooter obsolete.

Even after the free-for-all matches start to feel redundant, the punchy, full-body action in Hover Junkers remains hilarious fun.

Hover Junkers is a good game markedly improved by its VR components, utilizing room-scale tracking and motion sensors to craft physical, engaging shootouts. If there was any killer app for the Vive, it’s Hover Junkers. [Vive Tested]

One of the best VR games so far, with a very clever gimmick for getting first person shooters to work with current technology.

Great stuff. It's early VR times, and the market is small. Despite that, this games feels like a good answer to a pretty complex question:Great stuff. It's early VR times, and the market is small. Despite that, this games feels like a good answer to a pretty complex question: how can we use this new medium to create a multiplayer FPS?. The mechanics they landed on are great: fortify a hovercraft in such a way that you can duck and cover then fly around on it and shoot the other people who do the same. It's does not feature allot of modes, but that is not really what this is about. It's about the physicality of duels and shootouts when you encounter others in the wasteland, and having short intense matches with an experience you could not get outside VR.

If you have a Vive, you need to buy this.
