  1. It’s already a greatly improved game than what came before it, and it won’t be long until the amount of content is there to match, so this is an easy upgrade for anyone who liked the original game.

A marked improvement over the already-beloved House Flipper, House Flipper 2 allows you to get more immersed in the relaxing thrill of house renovations than ever before. Some quality of life changes take previous frustrations away, streamlining processes and allowing players to focus on what’s important. That, coupled with a face lift that makes House Flipper 2 look absolutely gorgeous, makes this a must-play for any sim fan. If only cleaning and renovating my real-life house was so enjoyable.

I was ready to enjoy House Flipper 2, and I really love it. I don’t think it’s perfect. I’d love to see some fine-tuning done through patches, especially with highlighting spots you miss when those spots are small or hidden under objects. I also felt that the Grid and Precision options for placing items were finicky at times, so I’d love to see improvements to that as well so I stop putting items in the wrong places. In the end, if you like simulation games like the first House Flipper or Powerwashing Simulator, then you’ll love House Flipper 2. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some more renovations to do.

House Flipper 2 builds upon the foundation of its predecessor, taking notable leaps in graphics and gameplay. The stories behind the quests are charming enough, and some include genuinely amusing pop culture references. The expansions to the in-game decor store are impressive, and I have a particular soft spot for including accessibility and mobility aids. I would find myself sitting down to do one quick quest, and then, before I knew it, an entire evening would be lost, flipping houses.

This is one of the most enjoyable simulator games available and cannot be recommended enough for fans of the series. And if the DLC packs for the original House Flipper are any indication, there will be plenty more content to come in the future. Anyone who played the original game will absolutely love this, and for those new to the genre House Flipper 2 is the perfect way to see how creative, and addicting, simulator games can be.

House Flippers 2 is a simple game that couldn't be simpler. While it focuses on simplicity, in fact, and on a fabulous and effective game design, it manages to blend in a fantastic way with a context that gives emotions and leaves you with a smile. Yes, that's right: just like Unpacking.

It's a sequel that doesn't deviate too much from the comfort zone of its predecessor, but brings at least a few novelties and improvements. It does suffer from the fact that the unit is quite fragmented in terms of content after all the additions, but it all just takes time.

House Flipper 2 is a great life-sim that will impress fans of the franchise. However, its catalogue isn't as impressive at its predecessor. Yet, with some time, this will change. Accordingly, though I wanted more furniture and building materials, I was impressed by the level of details and the fun tasks at hand.

House Flipper 2 is a very good sequel that fixes most of its predecessor’s flaws by offering more elaborate gameplay, an excellent sandbox mode, and better graphics. I’d be completely over the moon if it weren’t for some technical issues, annoying new painting mechanics, and the fact that assembly was relegated to a separate minigame.

In a year dominated by Metroidvanias, huge open worlds, and big budget action, House Flipper 2 is a refreshingly joyous, relaxing experience.

House Flipper 2 is an excellent option for players who enjoy home renovation simulators. The sequel offers a more complete and satisfying experience than the first installment, with a variety of new features and improvements that make it a must-have title for fans of the genre. Overall, I believe that House Flipper 2 is a solid sequel that offers a more complete and satisfying experience than the first installment. The changes introduced by the developers are positive for the most part, and the new setting and more focused story add a touch of freshness to the game.

More of a touch-up than a full-on renovation, but Sandbox mode is exciting.

House Flipper 2 maintains the positive aspects of its somewhat experimental predecessor while achieving a polished and well-rounded gaming experience. While it may not appeal to everyone, for those whose preferences align, it delivers a satisfying gaming experience.

The combination of freedom, atmosphere and soothing mood makes this title incredibly universal. It's hard to get bored here and resist the charm of such a successful game, which, even after completing all the missions, is limited only by our creativity.

In summary, although the title doesn't reinvent the genre's formula, it's a very good sequel that everybody who played the first title will enjoy. Besides, it has a nice graphic design that makes both the external and internal views enjoyable. House Flipper 2 covers many mechanics, but it manages to let the player customize his experience, either by focusing on cleaning or on building and decorating.

The sequel to the house renovation simulator offers more varied, compact and deep gameplay that goes beyond mere simulation, aiming for an improved experience that can appeal to different audiences. It features new mechanics that expand the good base of the first game, humorous challenges that are more than just a simple simulator, and several layers of gameplay that can be adapted to multiple audiences. However, it lacks the graphical improvement and the amount of content that the first game received over the years.

If you’re a fan of this genre, I don’t think you could find a better game in it than House Flipper 2. Some of the edges need a little sanding, but that polish could come from patches or future DLC. However, these hiccups don’t hold the game back and it’s still a blast to sink hours into.

House Flipper 2 takes the tedium of everyday chores and successfully turns it into a fun and deeply satisfying experience, with enough variety and modes to make it the ideal game for when you just need to kick back and relax.

Is this a realistic insight into property ownership and management? Probably not. But it yields a good time nonetheless, and one that obeying the property ladder advice of cutting out avocado toast might actually help you to afford.

House Flipper 2 is exactly what you might expect: a refined and expanded version of the first chapter, designed to satisfy those who loved the 2018 simulator and want an even better looking, varied and content-dense version. The highlight of the package is (or rather will be) the Sandbox mode with mod.io support to share original maps and missions with the entire world. It won't change the minds of those who didn't like the first chapter and doesn't introduce anything new into the heart of its gameplay, but most fans of the genre won't even need it.

Although I can't see it ever becoming a sensation that manages to attract people who don't care for its genre, House Flipper 2 will surely become a reference among those looking for a casual, relaxing, house-flipping simulator.

The game has the potential to become even better once it's in players' hands because of the new Sandbox Mode. In pre-release form, it's a bit bare, but when players jump in and start creating their own houses, there will be all kinds of new places to fix up. The original House Flipper received a ton of DLC content over the years, but this Sandbox Mode could give players nearly limitless options of new houses to flip. That's an exciting, yet terrifying prospect, as I worry that all of my free time is about to be taken over by yet another great simulation house-flipping game from Frozen District.

House Flipper 2 is fiendishly difficult to stop playing. Transforming homes from veritable garbage dumps into enviously slick pads through renovating, decorating and furnishing simply doesn’t get old.

House Flipper 2 takes what I loved about the first game and builds upon it. There are a lot of helpful new features, gorgeous new design options, and fun new jobs to complete. Developer Frozen District has managed to keep what makes the home renovation sim so enjoyable to play, its satisfying gameplay, and make it even more rewarding.

While the game could use a tiny bit more polish and perhaps some DLC, there is still plenty to enjoy in House Flipper 2. Fans of the original should have no trouble diving back into the house-flipping business, with an enhanced set of tools to help get the job done. Sandbox mode opens up new creative possibilities while adding a social element to the game that will only get better as more players get involved. Despite its shortcomings, House Flipper 2 keeps me coming back for more, and I can only hope there will be more to come back to in future updates.

House Flipper 2 is a very relaxed experience full of different tasks that you can take on your own pace and learn a lot about flipping houses and making video games all at the same time.

A fantastic, stress-free game to relax with, House Flipper 2 may take a few steps back in some areas, but takes huge strides forward in others.

Despite the limited content and somewhat fiddly controls, the game feels great to play. It's endlessly satisfying to turn a neglected garbage heap back into a happy home. The sandbox mode in House Flipper 2 offers lots of creative opportunities and the ability to share with fellow flippers is a big bonus, and will hopefully help the game build an ongoing community. Fingers crossed that more content comes down the road to provide players with even more possibilities.

I’d consider the smoother gameplay, more detailed story mode, and more interesting art style a fair trade-off for this extra content. There’s enough content in House Flipper 2 right now to keep players busy for a long time. I have a lot harder time accepting the major bugs the game currently features, though. In time, House Flipper 2 may well morph into one of the best examples of this sort of simulation title, but for now, there’s still work to be done.

House Flipper 2 is a good simulator. How technically accurate the game is remains to be seen. But it creates an almost meditative calm when cleaning up. So if you want to really relax after a long day at work and give your head a little emptiness, you will find your personal therapy with House Flipper 2.

Compared to the original, House Flipper 2 is a more than decent renovation and sale. Built from the ground up it features crisp, clean, better graphics. It features more attention to detail for the little things such as cleaning up, taking out trash and so on. It also features no less than three different environments with houses to match. The client jobs are time well spent, interesting and with decent rewards. After doing my first few ‘flips’ I felt like I did not want to let my creations go. But on the flip side, I miss the assembly and the features added to the original game over time like proper gardening and pets in particular. Those should have been implemented here as standard, but House Flipper 2 still manages to scratch the same satisfying itch as its predecessor.

Unless you’re really into this game’s subject matter (Hey, if you like decorating housing in Final Fantasy XIV, you might just be one of these people), you’re probably going to pass on this. The game does try its best to give you the full experience without making it feel too much like real work, but for me at least, I spend enough time cleaning that I don’t really need to do it in a video game. Having said that though, I cannot deny that the experience is well-polished, and absolutely worth a buy if being a house flipper is your personal fantasy.

House Flipper 2 takes what made House Flipper weirdly addictive and cleans, paints, and builds its way to a worthwhile iterative upgrade on the renovation sim. A few visual tweaks give it a personality the original never quite managed, while the addition of the sandbox mode will give builders who want more power than paint choices the chance to run wild with their tools.

House Flipper 2 showed me the joy of cleaning, throwing out the trash and donning my paint roller. I thoroughly hate cleaning and interior decor discussions in real life, but there’s an innate satisfaction that comes with doing it virtually the real world just can’t replicate. It has some issues and it might be too chilled for its own good in places, but House Flipper 2 is a DIY project worth taking on.

While there is a lot of potential in House Flipper 2, it hits too many stumbling blocks that prevent it from achieving greatness. If you don’t bother with sandbox mode, at least in its current state, and opt to rush through the restrictive story mode quests, house flipping itself is good fun. So perhaps House Flipper 2 should just stick to its name and what it does best.
