    I was really looking forward t this game but when i played i realized it was the same sounds and the same physics and graphics i liked the new addition to the body shop but the graphics were horible and i dont know y they put the newer cars in it th title says hot rod not import or new performance and they need another twenty cars just to make it intreresting to me i know it only costI was really looking forward t this game but when i played i realized it was the same sounds and the same physics and graphics i liked the new addition to the body shop but the graphics were horible and i dont know y they put the newer cars in it th title says hot rod not import or new performance and they need another twenty cars just to make it intreresting to me i know it only cost twenty dollars but they didnt inprove on anything i am dissipointed to see five motor options and the car goes six seconds on the quarter mile ther isnt enough options not enough cars all the cars drive the same and sound the same i mean after a game like motor city which was the perfect game in every way just got cut i cant beleive they are selling a cheap game like this and the xbox game projet gothem kills this in every way this game is for kids 12 and under that dont car that the game ends after you make your car the best it can be in ina short time of three days if you play slow after your the best you cant do anything else atleast make downloadible content like more tracks or parts or cars duhhhhh!!! i mean i could think of alot of way to make this a great game and make it worth playing i know all those changes would raise the price but cheap games like this wont last like a good game that is flexible and easy to play on different levels i want to see the engine in color and see the interior and all the good graphics like the smoke actually looking like smoke maybe making the game in two or three or five discs like world of warcraft did i am sorry i bought this game in the first place and wont make the mistake again uless i am confident it was completely upgraded and improved.… Expand

    This game should be chalked up to a disasterous horror. It's an insult to the sport. To start, the car is dropped from mid-air at the onset of staging. I guess the developers were too lazy to do a little extra code to let the car pull around, or back into water. Have they ever even been to a drag strip? The burn-outs are ridiculously stupid, resembling nothing of real-world physics. This game should be chalked up to a disasterous horror. It's an insult to the sport. Sad considering it's a 2004 title. The graphics look like someone just learned Maya last year. They are piss-poor at best. The engine sounds are terrible and the shifting points of each car does not even keep pace with the sound. The 6 second cars do a street-car burnout. Again, laziness displaying itself. The mechanics of income are poorly thoughout. Your avatar appears to be a jobless bum who has no 'non-racing' form of income, who resorts to buying a junked out car for 1-3 grand. The car is so busted up, it runs 25+ second 1/4 mile runs @ like 50 mph. Ummmm, who brings a car that bad to a track? You would be kicked out before you got through the gate. With about 2 grand worth of work, you might get the car under 19 seconds with 69 mph trap speeds. Hahahahahaha...is all I can say. There's no time-slips. No focus on a 60 foot, or 1/8th mile data. Come on, Hotrod. You should be ashamed of yourself for putting your name on this. I guarentee nobody from Hotrod contributed to this game. If they did, they should step into my office... The hotrods going in the 6-7 second range do not make use of a chute. Just one of many unrealistic facets of this terrible game. I spent the first 50+ races against the 20$ grudge match because I couldn't take the 105$ guy who was running 17's against my 19's. Only by grinding the same car (who suprisingly would give me 20$ over and over without caring to stop) could I upgrade small, irrelevant parts to barely consider taking the next car up. I give this fecal recement 2 thumbs down. Waste of 10$ and the only game I've ever owned that cheat codes made it more fun without totally making the game unchallenging. Go hang your heads in shame, ValuSoft. You dropped the ball.… Expand

    This game is a loathsome POS. The game says it supports windows XP. It does not, in fact it crashes every time you beat a track on "hot rod" difficulty, regardless of compatibility mode. This game has poor physics at best. I defecate better code than what governs that smoke cloud during a "burnout". Complete waste of 10 bucks. The AI cars keep taking me out by crossing the line and hitting you, you get DQ'ed instead of the offending driver. Stay away from valusoft!… Expand
