Jul 3, 2015Homesick transports its mysterious story exclusively with the items in the environment and manages to captivate without narrator or pre-rendered cutscenes. A very interesting storytelling journey.

Jun 11, 2015Homesick is one of those games that I feel everyone should experience. It really spoke to me and I have not felt this way playing an adventure game for a long time. I do suggest taking your time and just soak it all in as you will surely enjoy every minute of it.

Jun 25, 2015Homesick isn’t a perfect game, but it succeeds in fostering a sense of curiosity that will carry you to the end, and its slow drip of sadness and wonder can be intoxicating.
-
Oct 21, 2015Impressive atmosphere, good puzzles and an absorbing storyline, in this slow but inspiring adventure. It's no masterpiece, but you'll want to discover more and more as you play.
-
Jul 12, 2015Beautiful environments, a deliberate slow pace, and an intriguing story to unravel for completionists make this Homesick game a moody journey.
-
Jun 7, 2015A walking simulator in a gorgeous and mysterious environment that simply lacks the narrative drive of games like Dear Esther or Gone Home. A unique experience nonetheless.
-
Jun 10, 2015It creates a great atmosphere, but the overall Homesick experience ultimately feels a bit threadbare.
-
CD-ActionSep 18, 2015Homesick can be visually dazzling and sounds great, but the elements that should really encourage players to explore its world – story and puzzles – are just not up to par. [09/2015, p.48]
