    Surprisingly scary with a great atmosphere. Very exciting and thrilling. Up until the point where it becomes so repetitive that avoiding the monster becomes an annoying chore rather than a scary challenge. The story starts off with a great mystery, but by the time you get to piece the plot together by collecting hundreds of diary entries, you stop caring.

    Home Sweet Home is an around 4 and a half hour long first person survival horror game where you play as Tim in search of his wife who has disappeared.. And this game is creepy and unsettling from start to finish… This game is very similar to the likes of outlast… youll be walking around different areas trying to find items to progress through    Home Sweet Home

    Home Sweet Home is an around 4 and a half hour long first person survival horror game where you play as Tim in search of his wife who has disappeared..
    And this game is creepy and unsettling from start to finish…
    This game is very similar to the likes of outlast…
    youll be walking around different areas trying to find items to progress through the game, but you’re defenseless... you have a flashlight... thankfully one with infinite battery… so no battery collecting here.. but while you’re searching for items, you’ll occasionally run into this monster out here sounding like rose at the end of titanic… crying for someone to come back.. and if she spots you she will chase after you and kill you, taking you back to the previous checkpoint…you are able to run from her and hide in corners or in lockers until she leaves… and these moments are so tense and make otherwise unscarry moments feel terrifying.. so many scares, and not just cheap jumpscares… you actually feel you have to be careful when you hear or see her… keeping you on your toes throughout the entire game… and thankfully this game is paced perfectly sortve like the first outlast… it isn’t constant dealing with enemies.. Dealing with her and other is spaced out, I feel perfectly…
    stopping the game from feeling like a chore and keeping it feeling fresh and unpredictable…
    and rooms are constantly changing up... the scenery changes at a nice pace as well…
    the final chunk of the game though is where I feel things start to fall apart.. Too many repeat areas... and the game sequel baits…
    home sweet home is a part one game and its annoying…
    I felt no pay off other than an explanation for the monster chasing you around as you search for your wife…
    This game however is definitely one of the better horror games I’ve played, and one of my favorites for the year and is worth dipping your toes into…
    it also now supports vr and psvr.. however I wasn’t able to test this out
    I give Home Sweet Home

    All in all YGGDRAZIL have created a fantastic experience for any horror fan to play through. I am hoping with more releases/updates there will be more options on the graphical front and the obvious frame stutters are ironed out. But in no way would this put me off playing the game as the sheer fear and dread YGGDRAZIL have been able to muster is genius and from a company known for slotAll in all YGGDRAZIL have created a fantastic experience for any horror fan to play through. I am hoping with more releases/updates there will be more options on the graphical front and the obvious frame stutters are ironed out. But in no way would this put me off playing the game as the sheer fear and dread YGGDRAZIL have been able to muster is genius and from a company known for slot machines the game really is a marvel to behold.… Expand

    Игра конечно звёзд с неба не хватает, но для инди студии круто и если вы хотите получить удовольствие, то обязательно ночью.

    Духота Свит Духота на 6 часов геймплея.

    Из минусов: - геймплей, необходимо нон стоп ползать раком выжидая момента, что бы пройти мимо двух враждебных типов мобов, шизо девки, которая передвигается как черепаха и афк миньена, который призывает шизойдку, а задания - это взять какой то предмет проползая через выше перечисленных врагов, берешь предмет и ползешь назад через всю локу и тех    Духота Свит Духота на 6 часов геймплея.

    Из минусов:
    - геймплей, необходимо нон стоп ползать раком выжидая момента, что бы пройти мимо двух враждебных типов мобов, шизо девки, которая передвигается как черепаха и афк миньена, который призывает шизойдку, а задания - это взять какой то предмет проползая через выше перечисленных врагов, берешь предмет и ползешь назад через всю локу и тех же мобов, и так из раза враз, чуть ли не каждую главу, еще и с повторяющимися локациями, просто ад.
    - загрузки, ну это рофл, загрузки идут дольше, чем очередной трай.
    - цели, не всегда понятно, что нужно делать и приходится заниматься пиксель (тригер) хантингом, пока не пройдешь очередное место, пока не сходишь туда, потом сюда или что либо не возьмешь, не сработает дальнейший скрипт с открытием двери и тд.

    Из плюсов:
    - атмосфера, звуки, дизайн мобов и локаций выполнены на достаточно высоком уровне, особенно это можно прочувствовать ночью играя в ушах, а также редкие, но неплохие скримеры, до того как игра успевает задушит геймплеем, не хочется возвращаться в игру именно из за действительно стремной атмосферы, что конечно жирный плюс.

    P.S. на третьем часу игры приходят первые ощущения духоты и с каждым часом всё сильнее и сильнее оно нарастает, до тех пор, пока не появляется желание нажать ALT+F4, разработчики сами играли в своё произведение? Какая наверно была радость 6 часов ползать раком и постоянно ныкаться от поехавшей "девки", которую спамили почти в каждой локации...

    Home Sweet Home is a good survival horror game that mixes hide & seek and stealth gameplay with thai folklore. Too bad for the cut ending that forces players to wait for the next game.

    Without weapons and any protection but your ability to sneak out, you need to avoid monsters and explore scary places, resolve puzzles and discover where your wife Jane remains...if she is still alive. Home Sweet Home is an amusing and terrifying Survival Horror game developed exclusively for PC. It´s a good product, but loading times are far too long and the framerate is inconsistent.
