    Los muchachos de Team Cherry lograron crear una de las obras más pulidas de la generación de videojuegos, en todos los aspectos, hasta el más mínimo detalle.

    Si logran mantener el nivel en su próxima entrega estaremos hablando de una de las mejores sagas de la historia al nivel de Zelda o Dark souls.

    How is it possible that a small group of people were able to create such a beautiful crafted gem?
    Seriously this game has the best 2D artstyle I ever seen in a metroidvania and on top of it it has also a really solid and skillbased gameplay accompanied with dozens of awesome soundtracks.

    8/10. Only major complaint is that exploration gets a bit tedious and while exploration is rewarded, still gets bothersome and I end up just googling where to go. Also the game isn't particularly small, but isn't big either.

    Hollow Knight is a game focused on exploration.

    The game won't teach everything to you like you are dumb. Sometimes you will have to learn by yourself to progress and that's what makes it enjoyable and different.

    After 100 hours played, i recommend this game for everyone (casual gamers may suffer in this game)

The soundtrack feels lonely and hopeless, the story is contained in dialogue and text logs, but its so interesting it makes you want to learn more. You gain connections to characters that at the surface just look like filler characters, but then you'll realize one is infected, and feel absolutely heartbroken. This game truly is heartbreaking, every 2 steps you take in the game, feels like one step back as well.

The only negative things I would find about the game is that there is no difficulty selection screen in case of weaker players that can't play harder games.     It still does have some issues, but the game is almost perfect.

    It's very easy to get lost in Hollownest, both metaphorically and literally. Getting lost and exploring the world was one of the main driving forces of this game. You want to see every nook and cranny, defeat every enemy, discover all secrets, meet every ally. The combat is challenging and the platforming can be demanding but both give you the feeling of accomplishment.     Best value game i've played in a long time. Has more content and polish than a lot of AAA games. Would highly reccomend for anyone wanting a metroidvania game with amazing visuals, art, gameplay. Only con is that the story (which is good) is hard to find, similar to dark souls games.

    All gameplay mechanics can be described in one word - metroidvania. It is just a well-maid, balanced mix of platforming and boss fights. The main advantage, which does that game unique, is visual style. Every location is completely different, with its own enemies and atmosphere.
    The only thing that scares you from the beginning is map size. I've spent about 100 hours to complete the game.

The gripping tale of a forgotten kingdom rotted with a mysterious sickness pushed me to discover and reach every corner of the map. The games’ map is clear and multiple systems make exploration even easier (map pins, the bug tram, dream gates). The gameplay itself is responsive. Discovering/learning to conquer difficult bosses and challenges felt rewarding. Hollow Knight offers various builds through the charm system, and I often swapped my playstyle to match whatever challenge I was facing. My most memorable moment has to be discovering and fighting the final boss. A perfect climax to game with great gameplay and a great narrative. My only critique of Hollow Knight would be the stacking difficulty added to multiple optional dream bosses. As fun and responsive as the games’ combat is, I found myself asking why some repetitive bosses multiplied damage to the extreme resulting in every mechanic chunking for almost the entire players health pool. These few optional encounters drained some of the fun out of an otherwise fantastic combat experience.
    DLC:
    - The Grimm Troupe (6/10 Nightmare Chores): Most of the Grimm Troupe DLC is not very fun. The DLC offers a needed currency dump for a couple upgraded charms and a long fetch quest chain that results in a decent charm addition. The added Grimm boss fight is one of the best in the game and the dream version is difficult but does not feel unfair like some of the base game stacked damage dream bosses.
    - Godmaster (4/10 Slog Gauntlet): I can see why Godhome may be a welcome addition for some players, but the repetitive and damage multiplier nature of the boss gauntlet was not very fun for me. Godhome consists of multiple boss gauntlets made up of previously seen encounters and a library of the same individual boss fights with stacking difficulty in both mechanics and damage multipliers. I do appreciate a few new bosses thrown into the mix but other than those, I found most of the gameplay here repetitive and not fun.    … Expand

    This is probably one of my favorite games, and I can't describe why exactly. To me the highlights are the exploration and combat, as well as just the size for what you pay. It also has really good difficulty, up until you get to the boss rush area where it gets pretty difficult. But throughout the rest of the game it is very balanced in my opinion.

    Very well made indie metroidvania. The story is intriguing while also leaving some parts interpretation the game itself is not that difficult but it has many bosses and challenges with modes that make it 'Dark Souls' difficult. the graphics and music are memorable. I definitely didn't expect this game to be this good

    Hollow Knight is simply amazing. The main reason for this, is the gameplay: Fantastic movement, good catolouge of enemies and boss design. This is probally the best metroidvania/2d game in generall, I have ever played.

The OST and art is beautiful, and the way the Knight's movement flows after just two movement upgrades is sublime. Sure, the game may be a bit slow at the beginning, but later in the game more then makes up for it. The first Hornet fight was extremely fun, and the second one is one of the most fun experiences I've ever played, and it's not even the best boss in the game.

    The story is really well written, and the OST and art really makes it feel like you're travelling through a truly broken kingdom, and several areas/moments in the game are extremely gripping, and truly makes you feel devastated about what happened before the events in the game. Almost all the bosses are extremely fun, Especially Nightmare King Grimm, Hornet Sentinel, Sisters of battle, and Pure Vessel. There are some misses, namely Hive Knight and God Tamer. Such a system creates a classless walkthrough in which you can try all the content. The game has literally a couple of disadvantages, namely long hikes to the bosses in case of death and that's it. I did not find any more minuses in the context of this work, there are some rough edges, but they are not even close to the advantages of this game.     2 years after beating the game I still think about it, I listen to its music on repeat and sometimes can't believe I paid 7 euros for this experience.

    This is the Metroidvania genre peak in my opinion.

    Great lore, great design, amazing art, and an incredible vibe.

    Oyun kısaca rogue like ve metroidvania türünde bir oyun. Hikayesi her ne kadar çok uçuk kaçık bişey olmasa da sunumu bence iyi. Oyunun bence kötü yanlarından biri süresinin biraz uzun olması. Biraz kısa olsaydı benden tam puan alırdı. Platform oyunu severseniz alın zaten baya ucuz. İndirim döneminde çiğ köfte sürümden bile ucuz oluyor.

    I buy it for anyone has not played it when seasonal sales are around.
    Soundtrack is superb.
    Game-play is quick and fluid.
    Late game challenges are a little absurd and some things can't really be discovered without a guide.

С сюжетом у игры всë хорошо, есть моменты которые ты не ожидаешь, персонажи проработаны хорошо(как и злодей, так и герой), разные концовки также имеются, сюжетных несостыковок я не нашëл. С визуальной точки всë замечательно: Графика приятная и уникальная, а интерфейс понятный. Игровой процесс динамичный в основном на боссах, а так вполне спокойно, прокачка заметна(прокачиваются не только цифры), реиграбельность у игры есть: Основное прохождение, прохождение стальной души, скоростное прохождение и прохождение исключительно пантеонов, игру можно задрочить как и в плане боëвки, так и в плане паркура, а вот выбора сложности нет, максимум стальную душу предложат и то только после прохождения, механики боëвки интересные, а вот с паркуром не очень, лучше было реализовать перехват за стену на отдельную кнопку. Озвучки людьми тут нет, звуки приятные, а вот музыка очень хорошая. Атмосфера есть и везде она разная: в Грязьмуте - это грусть и спокойствие, в Глубинном гнезде - это страх, в битве с Гриммом - ярость. Юмора я в игре не нашëл. Обучение, как в обычных играх - ничего примечательного, Баланс в игре хороший, правда в Белом дворце всë слишком легко, если у тебя есть кровь улья. Игровой процесс разнообразен: Есть паркур, есть боëвка(которая тоже вариативна), есть поиск гусениц, есть доставка предметов(правда всего лишь один раз в игре). Мой вердикт - восемь из десяти… Expand

Hollow knight takes the Metroidvania formula and perfects it, with compelling exploration, locations, upgrades, NPCs, progression, and combat. There's not a moment in this game where one feels bored, and the map is structured in such a way that it is unusual to ever get lost. The game has a great sense of progression and ramps up the difficulty in fair ways. The art style also adds a lot of charm to the game, making the world feel alive and making one feel good for staying in it. Theres never moments where the game feels unfair, almost every time you die or get hit you feel that you were at fault. The polish is outstanding for an indie game, I've played this game to death and ran into maybe 1 minor glitch which barely even effected gameplay. It is obvious that a great deal of care was put into this project, and it shows in every little detail. What really shows the developers' love is the free DLCs they put into the game, each adding some substantive addition like bosses or new areas. The boss-run DLC is probably the best of the bunch since they reinvent some of the bosses and add in a few additional ones, the size of the DLC alone most companies would charge in the 20$ range for, meanwhile you get it free with the game which itself only costs around 20$. Each boss, each level, and each design choice felt born from passion to make a great game and by all accounts team cherry succeeded.… Expand

    Lo empecé hace unos años y no jugué más de 15 minutos. Hace unos meses le di otra oportunidad y el resultado no pudo ser tan diferente. Es el primer metroidvania que juego y creo que puede ser uno de los más brillantes. El aspecto artístico es inmejorable, su dificultad desafiante le aporta gracia al juego, sus detalles y misiones secundarias dan muchas más horas. Obra de arte.

When you start to understand how the boss moves the game starts to feel more of a rhythm game. I loved the hidden story, platforming, environment, soundtracks, boss fights, exploring, the feeling of being lost, and seeking the true purpose of our knight. As you get into the story, you feel more motivated, even if you aren't sure what's going on inThis game is one of the best games I've played.     Hollow knight is a solid nine out of ten. I have played ten hours and I play every day. Despite the okay amount of time I have played this it doesn’t feel like I have scratched a single corner of this amazing game.

    Cada personagem apresentado durante o jogo é único, tendo sua importância e distinção.
    Os inimigos do jogo também são únicos, cada um tendo sua função.
    Além disso, como foi-se feito durante praticamente todo o jogo, existe uma gama alta de opções as quais podemos escolher, desde entregar uma simples flor para um determinado personagem que não necessariamente deveria recebe-la, até a escolher um dos três finais que o jogo nos proporciona.

    Este jogo certamente acertou em tudo que ofereceu, e para quem realmente se dedicou à ele sabe que não há prazer maior do que o de passar pelo Palácio Branco e chegar na sala do trono onde está o corpo do Rei Pálido.

    У меня ушло около 50 часов на прохождение игры на самую банальную концовку с сражением с полым рыцарем, я не фанат сложных игр, но от этой, не смотря на ее сложность, не мог отлипнуть.

    I can go on about the merits of this game: fluid controls, challenging bosses, a deep, mysterious atmosphere. It has a ton of content and I honestly enjoyed every second of it. Unfortunately, it is heavily weighed down by its simplistic and cartoonish graphics which trivialize the whole message of the game.     Admito que o que me incomoda um pouco é ter que pesquisar onde ficam as coisas e como fazê-las, não conseguiria fazer as coisas sem um guia me dizendo onde ir e o que fazer, tipo onde ficam os charmes e as paredes quebráveis. Eu nunca teria descoberto que para acessar os pantheons eu precisaria primeiro quebrar uma    Excelente! Desafiador, é a melhor palavra para se descrever este jogo.

    It's the longest game I've played, there isn't a region I haven't explored and visited every spot. I finished the game 112% and I still sometimes enter and do the challenges. Perfect as a platform. One of the best examples of the souls-like genre.

    The only game that can accurately replicate the feeling I get from Dark Souls atmosphere and vibes. Not every mechanic might be for everyone, but it hit all the marks for me.
    Some cons that for me are completely outweighed by the sheer amount of pros: - Fast travel is a bit tedious - Might involve a bit more backtracking - Some quests /    This is my favorite Metroidvania ever.

    Absolutely amazing indie game. Art, sprites, backgrounds are all amazing, with their own style and all in 2D. Music is amazing and only gets better as you get to later boss fights. The map is filled with content and puzzles and is absolutely massive. This is both a positive and a negative. Backtracking takes a long time because of the map's size, but there's also something in every cornerAbsolutely amazing indie game. Art, sprites, backgrounds are all amazing, with their own style and all in 2D. Music is amazing and only gets better as you get to later boss fights. The map is filled with content and puzzles and is absolutely massive. This is both a positive and a negative. Backtracking takes a long time because of the map's size, but there's also something in every corner of the map for you to explore. The game is also non-linear meaning you can explore areas in any order so long as you find an alternate route into one.

    Platforming is satisfying and at some points a little difficult. Combat feels smooth, has many options using "charms" that you equip to enhance your character in one way or another. Most fights you get into a rhythm of when you dodge and when you attack once you know your enemy. Patience is key for the harder bosses, if you're stuck, either watch a tip video or come back later, no shame in that and there's nothing saying you have to do everything in one sitting.

    While this game isn't a soulslike, it has a couple elements you might notice from the souls games. Namely, that you lose currency on death, enemies respawn when you die or use a bench (your bonfire), and that bosses are fairly difficult until you learn their pattern and telegraphs.

    A 100% playthrough as a casual took me just over 20 hours. Replaying knowing what I was doing, I did an any% in 2 hours 50 minutes. To do all DLC content (which is free and automatically integrated into the game on install) will take several more hours, especially for Godmaster content.

    For 100% of achievements expect it to take probably 40-100 hours. The rarer achievements are EXTREMELY difficult but can be done with patience, planning, and time.

    Highly recommend to anyone. Only two things I can see turning people away are the difficulty and the navigation/backtracking.    … Expand

    El mapa es de los mejores que me he encontrado en un videojuego. Un diseño muy bien estructurado y desafiante que hará las delicias de quienes les guste un juego difícil. El mapa se combina con una cantidad absurda de enemigos muy variados que cambian dependiendo de la zona, de objetos y mejoras repartidas por este para seguir avanzando y algunos jefes que serán picos de dificultad para demostrar si estás preparado para seguir.

    Visualmente, es precioso. Tiene una variedad de diseños, entornos y objetos increíble que combinan perfectamente visualmente. Tiene una paleta de colores muy bonita que diferencia tipos de enemigos, zonas, personajes y bastantes más cosas. También, la música es muy buena, teniendo joyitas como la de la pantalla de título, que presenta (a mi parecer) lo dura que será la aventura.

    Jugablemente es de lo mejor que he probado. El control es súper fluido, tiene muchas mecánicas muy bien usadas en cada momento, el combate es súper desafiante pero a manos de expertos es increíble lo fluido que es todo y el sistema de muerte me ha encantado. Aunque otros juegos como Dark Souls hacen algo muy parecido, aquí le dan un trasfondo que hace que no se sienta forzada la mecánica.

    Los NPCs tienen muchísima personalidad y te acabas encariñando (u odiando, te miro a ti Zote) con algunos. como Connifer o los guardias que hay alrededor del mundo. Además, se nota que cada uno tiene necesidad de estar ahí, ninguno está de relleno y todos aportan algo. La historia me ha gustado bastante, más que por cómo es por cómo la cuentan. Como en los Souls, tendremos que ir explorando el mundo para leer ruinas, ver estatuas y en general, inspeccionar todo para que los jugadores atemos cabos y averigüemos el misterio del Hollow Knight.

    Hollow Knight es una obra maestra y se ha convertido en uno de mis juegos favoritos de la historia. Es arte hecha videojuego.    … Expand

    A dark and beautiful Metroidvania with challenging yet fair combat and a rich sense of exploration that pulled me in the more I played. It's a game that I originally played a few years ago and put a few hours in before losing interest, but upon revisiting it this year I've realised that the depth of this game is outstanding and the high praise is absolutely fair.

    Luego de la primera vez que me pase el juego termine super contento con la experiencia, lo recomendaria a cualquier persona, es mi primer metroidvania por lo que no podria compararlo con otros.

    Este juego es increíble, es un buen reto para alguien que quiera algo no tan fácil, pero si no te gusta lo difícil te recomiendo no probarlo porque posiblemente no te guste, pero por mi parte le doy un 20/10 para mi es increíble.

    Hollow Knight is one of the best 2D platformers I’ve ever played - it is a beautiful, quirky and dynamic game; challenging yet rewarding; mournful yet brimming with hope. When it comes to console, it’s going to cause a real stir.

    Hollow Knight is a Metroidvania with a well of content to discover that’s as deep as its labyrinthine caves. The world of Hallownest is compelling and rich, full of story that’s left for you to discover on your own, and built with branching paths that offer an absurd amount of choice in how you go about discovering it. With such a high density of secrets to find and fun, challenging enemies to face, it’s worth spending every moment you can in Hollow Knight.
