    Hollow Knight is een metroidvania. Je speelt de knight, een klein insectachtig wezentje dat het Hollow nest gaat verkennen. Het spel is van topkwaliteit: zowel muziek, als graphics en gameplay kloppen. De map die je moet verkennen steekt fantastisch in elkaar. Hollow Knight kan met momenten frustrerend moeilijk zijn, maar omdat je telkens wanneer je sterft het gevoel hebt dat het je eigenHollow Knight is een metroidvania. Je speelt de knight, een klein insectachtig wezentje dat het Hollow nest gaat verkennen. Het spel is van topkwaliteit: zowel muziek, als graphics en gameplay kloppen. De map die je moet verkennen steekt fantastisch in elkaar.     Man that's easily the best game I ever played, the soundtrack, the visuals and the gameplay are just perfect and I ain't notice any bug! 10/10

    This game is awesome, You definitely should try it. A dark souls'like game, that has really a little in common with it. There's no damage numbers, stamina or something like that. Everything is understandable and pretty primitive, but it is really better, than damage numbers. Unique charm system gives you an opportunity to change your build any time you want. This game also have a disadvantage. Controls are lagging a bit, for instance, you press left and attack in the same time, but your hero attacks the right side instead of the left one, but you can easily get used to it. Interesting bosses, locations and REALLY,REALLY interesting lore. Every enemy is a unique, their varieties of attacks really will make you to think, what to do. True metroidvania feelings are guaranteed.

    Невероятно душевная и атмосферная игра. Музыка просто выше всяких похвал. Для любителей метроидваний здесь просто море контента и секретов.

    Amei esse jogo tem:bons gráficos , boa jogabilidade , boa otimização , barato , roda em 90% dos PCs , boa história , tamanho bom e uma coisa que dependendo do ponto de vista poder ser bom ou ruim e que é difícil (eu acho bom , gosto de desafios).

    Puede que las primeras 2 horas sean lentas, pero respecto al lore, banda sonora, curva de dificultad y arte es 10/10, merece al menos una oportunidad.

Though, it leaves a hard feeling of sadness. - The game progression is balanced with some exceptions. - You can achieve multiple endings (except forth maybe, because it is extremely hard and long without trainers). - Design. Cons.: - Some of the buffs for bosses    An amazing metroidvania.

    Pros.:
    - The concept, story. It is interesting to play in this world of decay and decadance. Though, it leaves a hard feeling of sadness.
    - The game progression is balanced with some exceptions.
    - You can achieve multiple endings (except forth maybe, because it is extremely hard and long without trainers).
    - Design.

    Cons.:
    - Some of the buffs for bosses are insane. For example, the Traitor Lord is very powerful while Hollow Knight is not that impressive. It doesn't make any sense.
    - The forth ending should be granted without that painful gameplay polishing of finishing all bosses over and over again. It doesn't make sense again - the game is already quite challenging. The developers just force the players to jerk the joystick or keyboard off more and more. Same with the level in the dream world and the Pale King - the saw level I mean. It is insanity for speedrunners and extreme fans. But others will just say "screw it, I'll use trainer." And that will kill the whole idea of achieving the two other endings.

    Anyways, it is a great game. The concept of the game that you actually fight the light caught my eye. We basically play bad guys - the Void. But it make sense since the whole thing takes place underground. There is no need for light there - almost all creatures are bugs.

    BTW free DLCs. You MUST reward developers for that I guess. Respect!    … Expand

    this game is very good I love the soundtrack and lots of the bosses except brooding Malek and god tamer they suck mega badness but other than that good game

    Perfection of the metroidvania genre. I thought no metroidvania could ever surpass Super Metroid, but this one definitely did. No other game comes even close to having the amazing world design that this game has.

    The best game i ever played. the only thing I don't recommended this game is that after this you never will play another game with such enthusiasm.

    This is the closest thing to a perfect game, with over 40 bosses around 150 different enemies crazy visuals, and fluid mechanics there is just so much to do it's a long enjoyable playthrough with things like bartering and upgrades that make it even better. 10/10 amazing I want a part 2

    Un gran juego con grandes personajes, gameplay, arte y escenarios. Los boss fights están muy trabajados y es muy divertido. No puedo decir nada más a parte de que es un must buy, muy recomendable para todo tipo de jugadores.

    I loved my time with this game. I personally played it for around 30 hours and I barely scratched the surface of all the hidden challenges and areas in this game. The art style is stunning with an amazing atmosphere that makes you want to know more about the world. My only complaint about this game is that it doesn't guide you and you will need to look up a guide for some obstacles.

    Enjoyable gameplay, awesome ost, intertaining lore. Has some downsides, but there are so few of them, so I can't even remember. Definitely recommend it.

    This is another one of those games where the developers simply were not good enough to develop a game that solely relies on skill. This game has to rely on touch damage and attacks by the enemy in order to make it harder. This is just bad development and poor decision making.

    - La progresión es inherente a la zona en la que te encuentras, creando así la sensación de volverse cada vez más poderoso.
    - Mecánica de perks y habilidades permanentes que se acoplan a estilos de juego diferentes.

    CONTRAS:
    - Es retador, y por eso puede que no sea para todos.
    - Por momentos puede parecer injusto, pero se trata de ensayo y error.
    - Es fácil perderse para los que no están acostumbrados a este tipo de juegos.
    - Una historia bonita, pero no te la cuentan por medios tradicionales. Hay que leer diálogos y el entorno para enterarse de qué pasa.

    Hollow Knight es el mejor Metroidvania de la historia. Lo hace todo tan bien que es para muchos hoy en día el estándar y la vara más alta a la hora de calificar ese género, pero también es entendible que no a todos llegue a gustarles o engancharlos.    … Expand

    This game is really good. But it's not perfect. Might I even say, it's a bit overrated? The main problem I have with this game is how directionless you feel while exploring. Some people like the feeling of being utterly lost. I don't like how the game fails to give you sufficient motivation for huge chunks of the play time. You don't even know what your goal is for a good 4--6 hours, andThis game is really good. But it's not perfect. Might I even say, it's a bit overrated? The main problem I have with this game is how directionless you feel while exploring. Some people like the feeling of being utterly lost. I don't like how the game fails to give you sufficient motivation for huge chunks of the play time. You don't even know what your goal is for a good 4--6 hours, and even once the goal is revealed to you, the actual way there is not well indicated. The game actually has a really interesting lore and story, but you aren't privy to that knowledge until you've almost finished your first playthrough. This makes the endgame even more fun than in your standard Metroidvainia, but it leaves your first playthrough with a lot to be desired. Another problem is your movement. You get THREE basic movement upgrades above walking and jumping. This means the platforming falls by the wayside; it never gets good. The deep combat is instead the focus, while is great, don't get me wrong, but when enemies become easy and their rewards become minimal, it's revealed how boring traversal is. My final issue with the game is the area design. At least four different areas have the same 'barren, black rock' aesthetic and the music doesn't do a good job of distinguishing them either.
    After all that, you wander why I gave this an 8/10. It's because, other than my main issues and some rather petty nitpicks, everything is amazing. When the music actually decides to pick up, it picks up hard. The combat mechanics, coupled with the variety of enemies, is always challenging and engaging. As previously stated, the lore and story is really good when it gets going and will keep you hooked even after the credits have rolled for each of the five separate endings. The character enemy, and (some of) the area designs are well done as well. This game deserves most of the praise it has received, but be aware that it is not the genre defining perfection that it often cited as.    … Expand

    Hollow Knight is a Metroidvania with a well of content to discover that’s as deep as its labyrinthine caves. The world of Hallownest is compelling and rich, full of story that’s left for you to discover on your own, and built with branching paths that offer an absurd amount of choice in how you go about discovering it. With such a high density of secrets to find and fun, challenging enemies to face, it’s worth spending every moment you can in Hollow Knight.
