    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is very cool, 10/10 for me. The visuals convey the atmosphere of Harry Potter very well. Also the story is very good. I don’t understand why people are so indignant about the optimization, because everything was fine on my RX580 almost all the time at the highest settings that I could do (there were maximum drawdowns when using lumos when performing tests with a mirror, but I think this is due to the fact that most likely a separate room is generated in the mirror + lumos generates light).… Expand

    I'm glad that this game came out in spite of, and even the agenda makes the game unique in its own way, uniqueness such that it is against those whom the game holds with two hands, nice. The plot is super, the graphics are super, the atmosphere is super a hundred times, take it, and don't think.

    Very disappointed with the PC performance of the game, lags too much in Hogwarts, I've had this kind of issue with a lot of other Unreal Engine game for some reason and the situation is the same her as well.

    The game is crazy good. It has a great level of detail, the sound is good and the open world is vast. I have 0 performance problems usually around 120 fps.

    First of all, I didn't like the side missions in the game. Secondly, this is Hogwarts School of Wizardry, I mean 6-7 teachers and not 100 students in total, preventing us from entering the universe. However, the Fighting mechanics are excellent, I haven't seen such good hitting feeling in a long time.

    Brilliant. Impressive attention to details. Immersive open world, so many things to do around. So many things to discover. We are so lucky to have it during out timelines.

    Masterpiece, truly one of the best games to come out in a long time. The gameplay and the story are also in a league of their own.

    Fantastic game. Nails the feeling and tone of the Harry Potter world and, unlike the most recent films based in that world, it actually creates a world you are excited to be in. There are some performance issues on PC with NVIDIA games for people who prepurchased, but hopefully those will be patched.

    I give this game a 5/10 because the story and gameplay is good but sadly I cant condone the performance issues the game has. My system is not bad but its not great either and I am literally struggling to stay above 60 fps most of the time and this is with DLSS on. Sadly I know the cause of this and its Denuvo. Any review that says it runs great on pc I am sorry but they are lying or theyI give this game a 5/10 because the story and gameplay is good but sadly I cant condone the performance issues the game has.     I'm not a fan of the HPU, but:
    Comfort, atmosphere, nice graphics, unobtrusive gameplay. A year ago I got 100% of achievements in Elden Ring, here and now I am resting.
    Memory leaks and FPS drops in cutscenes are frustrating.

    One of the best open world RPGs of our time. It is up there with the Witcher3. Played 30 hours so far and loving it.

    Hogwarts Legacy on PC is absolutely beautiful. It has terrific graphics performance, mechanics, voice acting, story, and music. So far, I have experienced very few glitches, save an occasional lag. The care and passion that went into its production is obvious. In my opinion Hogwarts Legacy is a masterpiece!

    About the game though. A beautiful game to experience. It's clear a lot of time went into designing Hogwarts and the area surrounding it. The amount of detail in the game and the graphics are just phenomenal! On top of that the atmosphere with ambience and music is on point. The amount of detail in the game and the graphics are just phenomenal! On top of that the atmosphere with ambience and music is on point. Gameplay wise the game is very good as well. There is a heavy focus on exploration which just feels well done and rewarding with a good mix of puzzles. The combat is very good as well. The beginning obviously is quite basic since you only have a few spells but the further you get in the game with more spells unlocked and with more talents available, the combat just feels very smooth and satisfying. Difficulty is just right for me on normal, at times a bit challenging and at times not so much. The customization of your character is also pretty extensive with a good amount of options to choose from in the beginning and quite a big wardrobe of cosmetics to collect throughout the game. Quests are varied enough for me, they don't feel repetitive and I enjoy doing all the little side things the game has to offer. About the story I can't say much because I'm not super far into it but so far it's fine although nothing groundbreaking here.

    About PC performance. It seems that Nvidia cards have issues but AMD cards, like mine, do not have them (as much). I have a very pleasant and smooth experience with my RX 6800. Not saying it's perfect when it comes to optimization, it definitely can be better but maybe with a future patch or at least proper drivers for the game this can be solved.

    Mal optimizado, el juego se corta constantemente de forma brusca para meterte una cinemática ademas de tener pantallas de carga de la época de Skyrim.
    Viniendo de jugar GOW donde no te cortan ni para transportarte este juego se siente realmente mal.

    I love this game so much, been a fan of hp franchise since childhood. Thank you for making this. I just don't like 1 thing that common rooms feel empty at night, and like nobody is sleeping at the common rooms, and you can't sleep there at all, immersion isn't great there. Spells Cooldowns feel a bit long, even with a talent, but maybe its just me. Everything else is amazing, hoping for aI love this game so much, been a fan of hp franchise since childhood.     outstanding game with outstanding effects the combat needs to get used to the story is interesting and brilliant open world with a lot to do you can do whatever you want the character customization is a bit dull but good the different designs of clothes are Wide and good looking different wand choice is wide and overall perfect and true to the books

    Wowza I'm really not sure how Avalanche has managed this but they've made probably the best licensed game since the Arkham series! Licensed games are not supposed to be this good!

    This is also the best Harry Potter/JK Rowling related work since the original books (I've seen the Fantastic Beasts and Curious Child etc and this blows them out of the water, and even the HP movies). I've    Wowza I'm really not sure how Avalanche has managed this but they've made probably the best licensed game since the Arkham series! Licensed games are not supposed to be this good!

    This is also the best Harry Potter/JK Rowling related work since the original books (I've seen the Fantastic Beasts and Curious Child etc and this blows them out of the water, and even the HP movies).

    I've turned down the graphical settings and play at medium but it runs without issue for me. I've got ancient gaming PC and don't meet the recommended specs. So that's not bad.

    I've not completed the game but the story is good so far (about half way through), the side quests are reasonable but hardly ground breaking.

    Combat is tight and involves some tactics, better than expected compared to previous HP games.

    Music is pretty good, voices are a bit weird (if you don't leave it on default pitch).

    Great game from an otherwise ailing IP and a developer who really don't put out this kind of quality in the past.    … Expand

    Who says that the game is thrash is a troll. The game is fantastic, never had a bug or glitch. Perfect. Who underrates the game because of politics against Jk Rowling is a fraud. Don't lie don't lie don't Lie don't lie don't lie don't lie don't lie don't lie.

    I absolutely love this game. While I would not call myself a "Potterhead", this universe was huge part of my growing up and this game is everything I wished for back then when I was a dummy kid.
    The world is beautiful, Hogwarts are as puzzling and mysterious as they should, characters are great and very well voice acted. I enjoy open world activities a lot and I love how everything is    I absolutely love this game. While I would not call myself a "Potterhead", this universe was huge part of my growing up and this game is everything I wished for back then when I was a dummy kid.
    The world is beautiful, Hogwarts are as puzzling and mysterious as they should, characters are great and very well voice acted. I enjoy open world activities a lot and I love how everything is tied to character progression in some way. Music is also perfect.
    my only gripe would be the timers ón growing plants and brewing elixirs. Sure, a little timer would be ok but waiting for 10 minutes for something is.. awkward in this kind of game. That´s pretty much it tho, I really like the rest.

    The success of Hogwarts Legacy clearly shows that good sales and warm feedback from players are ensured not so much by the gameplay thought out to the smallest detail but by carefully reproducing the right atmosphere. But this is already a subtle moment, akin to real magic, and here the nameless developers of Avalanche Software succeeded.

    Hogwarts Legacy is an altogether excellent port of Wizarding World to PC screens. It proudly belongs to the Young Adult fiction genre, which may make immersion difficult for older gamers.
