    It's the GOTY game for me. It just calls you to explore every corner, check every single tile of the game to see what's happening, i never had a game like this attracting and i am not rushing it to finish because i know i will not have a game like this a long time. So enjoy this masterpiece and i hope it will have a Hogwarts Legacy 2 game.

    Haven´t had this much fun with a game for a while. I love Harry Potter, and this game is one I have been waiting for a LONG time. There are some issues, as there are with many games that just come out. This is hopefully addressed soon enough, but nothing game breaking. There´s is a lot to do I don´t even go to class just because I wanna explore the world the built around Hogwarts. TheHaven´t had this much fun with a game for a while. I love Harry Potter, and this game is one I have been waiting for a LONG time. There are some issues, as there are with many games that just come out. This is hopefully addressed soon enough, but nothing game breaking. There´s is a lot to do I don´t even go to class just because I wanna explore the world the built around Hogwarts. The story is engaging and game play is awesome. I played on hard since the beginning, and it felt at sometimes like dark souls based on how many times I got whooped. I do love a challenge tho, and I love this game. And even better, the potential mods that can come for it for this version are gonna be lit.

    Last Time I was so hooked in a Game was when Elden Ring got released. I love how many Details and Eastereggs are in the Open World and especially in the Castle itself.
    I have 0 performance issues. Usually I get above 100 FPS on Ultra Settings. But I heard a lot of People have Issues with the Performance on PC especially with NVIDIA GPU’s. But from my Point, this Game is a solid 10/10.

    I am absolutely loving Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy! Although I haven't finished the game yet, I can confidently say that it is one of the best games I've ever played. The attention to detail in bringing the world of Harry Potter to life is truly remarkable and the open-world is amazing. The spells and duels are so much fun to perform, and the characters and story are engaging. If you'reI am absolutely loving Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy!     Also considering that it's the world of witches and wizardry, it just adds to the magical universe that J.K's world gives with all the fantastic beasts, magic casting system, character customization, vast lands and etc.

    Even if you'd rather be your regular self and not become a new race, gender or etc. to which I have to state again is completely customizable for the trans and other communities so that they are able to play the game as whoever they identify as. the game still adds so much more detail and content that makes "Hogwarts Legacy" a true love letter to fans old and new of the harry potter franchise and will possibly become one of, if not the most greatest harry potter game of all time.

    I've had so much fun, I strongly recommend the game and if not then that is completely fine, it's your choice whether to buy it or not. Just don't let your decision be manipulated by all the nasty haters who tried boycotting the game simply because they didn't like the author of the HP book's opinions on an unrelated topic. I apologize with bringing the topic up but people such as them rather see no one have fun then to not completely win a very complicated argument.

    so be sure not to listen to such toxic arguments and look for the more constructive criticisms of the game from people who genuinely find "in game" problems, this will help you decide whether to buy the game or not so that you know what you'll be possibly experiencing during your first playthrough as a 5th year student at the greatest school in the wizarding world, "HOGWARTS".    … Expand

    Steamlink Audio Issues? No dialogue while playing Hogwarts Legacy??? This fixed mine…

    You need to set your sound settings to STEREO in both Steamlink app on TV as well as in Windows. Go into “sounds” in Windows and you should have a Steamlink audio device there, it’s most likely configured for 5.1 by default. Set it’s output to stereo. THEN in Steamlink app on TV adjust the sound from 5.1    Steamlink Audio Issues? No dialogue while playing Hogwarts Legacy??? This fixed mine…

I run a Sonos Dolby Atmos sound bar with sub and 2 rear speakers so unless the audio was coming from two front left and right speakers which makes no sense as it should be center channel…idk.

    Plays great on Steamlink for me but I run a modern high end router and modern high end TV with latest WiFi standards built in so experiences may vary.

    As for the game? It’s been really fun. I got Hufflepuff…Gryffendor at first but I like the underdog thing. The castle is meticulously represented and even entering a place in game for the first time feels familiar, and what’s fun is learning new skills like in any game actually is now in a school so it makes sense lol.

    Ignore the political BS, if you’re a gamer, don’t deny yourself the fun.

    Only complaint is I wish we had more

    What a fantastic game! Super storytelling, very immersive! And the gameplay is on point, super smooth and simple to catch on, feels snappy. The music is remarkable, you can even hear classical pieces along Hogwarts, The spells feel awesome, thanks to the wonderful SFX, but not only, the VFX are exquisite! And the scenarios are super detail with lots of immersive objects and scenes! It'sWhat a fantastic game! Super storytelling, very immersive! And the gameplay is on point, super smooth and simple to catch on, feels snappy. The music is remarkable, you can even hear classical pieces along Hogwarts, The spells feel awesome, thanks to the wonderful SFX, but not only, the VFX are exquisite! Extremely LGBTQ+ INCLUSIVE with the best character inclusions that don't feel forced and don't sum them up as what they are but who they are!     Absolutely amazing game, Even though there are pc performance issues, they will be fixed soon by Nvidia updates and game updates. Best game I have ever played. Tied with Dark and Darker for me.

The developers of the game tried to convey the whole atmosphere from books and films, the graphics are at an excellent level (PS5) and I enjoy exploring the world, flying without a broom and using spells against goblins and other enemies. I don't regret buying this game. I want to point out that there hasn't been anything so delightful in the Harry Potter universe for a long time. All these newfangled political views and the flow of feces due to other people's views can only harm the development of the world. Do not touch the beautiful Universe of magic and this game, leave it outside of your "new" and "correct" outlook on life..    … Expand

    I have had no issue(s) in that capacity game play wise or other etc, it has been a smooth and fun ride.

    The Game itself truly truly felt like coming home.

    Amazing game. Honestly in my top 10 favorite games of all time. Sure the frame rate can drop sometimes but besides that the game is beautiful and is full of content. I can’t get enough. One of my favorite features is the gear you can equip but change how it looks to other items you’ve found. You can tell the people making the game are real gamers. Not a cash grab at all

    I've heard about HP movies before, but not really a fan of it. Just tried this game since my friend recommended it to me. But to my surprise, this game is awfully gooood, the graphics, environment, soundtrack and voice acting are on point. I just want to add that the optimization on this game is excellent, I could play the game at 1440 with only 6600xt. By the way, the combat mechanics forI've heard about HP movies before, but not really a fan of it. Just tried this game since my friend recommended it to me. But to my surprise, this game is awfully gooood, the graphics, environment, soundtrack and voice acting are on point.     This is just a dream come true for longtime Harry Potter fans. Is this the next Breath of the Wild? No. But it's an amazing open world game with decent immersion and a literal ton of things to do.
    Make sure you update to the latest drivers for your video card though, was a little choppy before I did that.

    This game is an absolute game of the year candidate. I couldn’t find this much joy in a videogame since Breath of the Wild. And this is coming from someone who never read the books or watched any of the movies (but I’ll certainly now).

    This is an amazing game, anyone that says otherwise is honestly just letting feelings about a women they've never met feels about certain topics, the devs of the game even went out of their way to include LGBT+ characters in the game.

    It's not that this game is innovative next gen technical demo.
    Story is amazing I'm 40 hours in and still didnt finished main story cause I just wonder around that beautiful world. It's dense, it's made with love by the awesome developers who cares about the consumers.

    A beautiful game with a design similar to The Witcher 3 in terms of drawing the user's attention to interesting gameplay mechanics every 10-15 seconds. It also has a well-thought-out design for traveling around the world with special points of interest where the world is ready for screenshots).

    Hogwarts Legacy is the Harry Potter game I’ve been dreaming of since I was a teenager. I grew up alongside the Harry Potter novels and devoured them all, and I spent the time between book releases reading and writing fanfiction set in the Wizarding World.

    We (myself and family) found the game surprisingly well done. For example unlike other games where we're interested to run around the world, kill and loot we instead already have a whole social network and exploration going on within Hogwarts (plus a bit in Hogsmeade).

With a main story that is both whimsical and gritty, and over a hundred side quests, there are countless reasons to ply out an enchanting life in the game. Occasional graphical issues are noticeable but overall negligible to the abundant sense of wonder. Hogwarts Legacy is a spellbinding and enchanting experience not to be missed.

    Let me just say that the graphics of this game are chef's kiss amazing.
    The level of detail is so impressive that you can practically smell the butterbeer and feel the warmth of the Hogwarts fireplace. It's like you're actually there, except you don't have to deal with the pesky inconvenience of being a Muggle.

    The success of Hogwarts Legacy clearly shows that good sales and warm feedback from players are ensured not so much by the gameplay thought out to the smallest detail but by carefully reproducing the right atmosphere. But this is already a subtle moment, akin to real magic, and here the nameless developers of Avalanche Software succeeded.
