    Blood Money is the best Hitman game in the original series. It has some fresh ideas and the missions are just pure fun. I played this game for hours, just to get all the cool endings. Overall rating: 9.0.

    This game now is outdated and the feeling of it goes through your bones. Hitman is very creative and original game and requires you to be resourceful. You can complete mission in the very different ways and this is satisfying. Level design adds to diversity, new mission - totally new atmosphere that is convincing every time. Although its easy to get lost, because of the same doors',This game now is outdated and the feeling of it goes through your bones. Of course graphics old traits are obvious - sometimes ugly textures, repeating character's skins on every step, etc. The AI is terrible: sometimes they see through walls, they run away and call the police when you take a knife being disguised as a cook, and yada-yada-yada, everyone can relate to this. The shooting mechanic isn't good and you can't really just have fun by shooting everyone because you'll easily die: no medkits, no regeneration, no covers mechanics and big recoil kills this game as a shooter. About the story, I've never understanded why hitman is earning money, what for if he lives one and half a year, if I'm not mistaken? And why Diana, his job informer, has a somewhat sentimental connection with him like they're friends, If he is cruel obsessed with money killing machine that could kill Diana for money easily? The clone war scenario that comes up in game is likable to me, its quite interesting. The last thing but not the least, the soundtrack - its marvelous, from the main theme "Ave Maria" to my favourite red bar soundtrack in bird's mission… Expand

In this mission, you can kill a tenor opera singer called Alvaro D'Alvade in so many ways and it is so fun.     inexcusable the pc port comes without controller support, it was 2006, they could easily allow a XB360 controller as a selectable at the very least.

    Blood money is a bug fix for the third part.

    This is the same classic hitman, but with very cool graphics and new mechanics.

    In the fourth part, it seems that all the coolest hitman chips have been maximized.

    Всё же это действительно апогей серии хитман, да и самого жанра социального стелса, за который хитман всеми любим. Разработчики полностью отказались помещать игрока в какие либо рамки да и в общем сделали упор не на количество,    ОБЩЕЕ.

    СЮЖЕТ - наверное самый интересный относительно прошлых частей, довольно не тривиальный и со своими неожиданными твистами, да и в целом лор был сильно расширен. Множество кат-сцен, большое количество интересных персонажей, написали всем целям биографию которую можно почитать перед началом задания! А после каждой миссии нам преподносят газету с информацией, в которой игра описывает и оценивает последние события связанные с миссией 47го и общие сведения о происходящем в мире. Была низкая меткость? Будь готов что журналисты охарактеризуют тебя неумелым стрелком, ну или наоборот - профессионалом. Убивал всех подряд? Будь готов получить характерное прозвище, например сумасшедший или маньяк, а далее: количество жертв/раненных, как происходили убийства, какое у тебя было любимое оружие, размышления о том кто же может быть убийцей! Помимо статьи о себе, по краям газеты можно почитать общие новости о последних событиях в мире, с которыми потом лично можно столкнуться уже в процессе игры. Появились новости о будущей Опере? - Скоро ты там лично окажешься с заказом на содомитов-педофилов выступающей в ней. Выполнил заказ одной женщины по убийству её суженного - после можно будет почитать новость о резко разбогатевшей вдове, разбрасывающейся деньгами в казино Лас-Вегаса, в котором тебе тоже предстоит оказаться в будущем :).

    ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ - всего в игре 13 миссий, но как я и сказал выше, упор был на качество. Эти 13 миссий имеют большую, вариативную, открытую локацию, количеством вариантов убийства blood money может только похвастаться. Перед заданием игра предлагает выбрать снаряжение, вариантов базового оружия всего 5+мелочи по типу ядов и тд, но все они имеют большое количество возможностей улучшений: прицелы, приклады, глушители и до кучи всего прочего. Так же есть возможность пополнять снаряжение оружием которое ты находишь на самих локациях во время игры, они сохраняются и ты можешь использовать понравившиеся в будущем. Количеством возможных маскировок игра тоже не обделена. Так же была сделана система свидетелей, если ты неумелый стелсер, будь готов что со временем в газете будут пытаться составить твой портрет, а твоя известность ещё откликнется во время игры в виде рандомного чела который может совершенно неожиданно узнать тебя).

    Отдельно хочу отметить замечательную графику и восхитительный саунд.    … Expand

    I was most intrigued by the hitman’s story itself and its different gameplay. The game itself has changed greatly since the other hitman, is more camera compressed than expanded. The game itself is no longer as difficult as other old hitman in a much better tuned game and less buggy. What’s really cool is that over the hitman has really increased more innovation like logic and weapon upgrades. But according to me, where the mistake is that there is a lack of hitman interest in the level as in older hitman games there were some different themes and much more interesting. And during a hitman it seems your goal is just to kill the target and have to come up with ways to discover ways to no longer have that different view as before. In general, I didn't like the camera very much because it's very compressed, and you don't see it wider.

    So in my opinion, Hitman: Blood Money has an impressive story and gameplay, but the bottom line is that it’s gone to that level of interest and is a bit buggy, but little. The camera itself is not very impressive, so compressed, and you do not see more objective. I would dedicate myself to this game 7/10.    … Expand

The story is incredible but simple and the maps and enemies are really memorable, the game is really replayable.     The game doesnt have the dark tone that contracts had but it has a different atmoshpere, it feels less like a murderer among other murderers and more of the assassin style. Norman people seem ignorant not paying attention to you while guards seem more on alert, looking around searching you is a few of the things they do and the amazing AI adds many things into this while Agent 47 has the dark emotionless face at its perfection and the voice acting is really improved from the previous ones.    … Expand

    But on the other side, every mission is more or less the same: observe the patterns, kill people from behind, get other clothes.
    Another bad thing is, that the targets behaviours are not realistic: They move only from one spot to the other or showing you their back already. In addition it is not realistic, if you are standing all the time at one point to observe the patterns of the people and security guys dont react at you.    … Expand

    One of the greatest endings in gaming history. Such and incredible and fun game. The replay ability is also great especially if you want those trophies. This is my first Hitman game in 2019 and it has easily become one of my top 10 games of all time. The soundtrack is phenomenal thanks to Jesper KYD who sadly isn’t composing music for the Hitman franchise as of now. The second you hear theOne of the greatest endings in gaming history. Such and incredible and fun game. The replay ability is also great especially if you want those trophies. This is my first Hitman game in 2019 and it has easily become one of my top 10 games of all time. The soundtrack is phenomenal thanks to Jesper KYD who sadly isn’t composing music for the Hitman franchise as of now. The second you hear the game’s title theme you just know you’re about to play a classic. The game does have a few dates controls especially during the first level but once you’ve gotten it down.     - Every mission is enjoyable - big loadout of many different weapons - rewarding progression-system (depending on how you finish the mission, you'll get more money. That money can be spend in new guns and upgrades for your guns!) - dual, silenced Silverballers - still beautiful and very atmospheric maps - mission-briefings with many details and    This is how you do a Hitman game!

    - Every mission is enjoyable
    - big loadout of many different weapons
    - rewarding progression-system (depending on how you finish the mission, you'll get more money. That money can be spend in new guns and upgrades for your guns!)
    - dual, silenced Silverballers
    - still beautiful and very atmospheric maps
    - mission-briefings with many details and informations on targets and planning
    - guns can be upgraded with silencers, grips and laser-pointers
    - gun-models can be inspected closely in a 3D-View
    - of course multiple ways to finish a mission
    - no handholding for 10year old "gamers"
    - smooth and on-point-controls, allowing for fast reactions in hairy situations
    - Mission-score-system in a cool media-coverage-way at the end of each contract!

    Negative:
    - The music lacks in many aspects, especially compared to Jesper Kyds compositions for Hitman 1 in Rotterdam or the psychic ward!) and comes with an absolutely replacable "Ave Maria", that my fit the tone for the "ending" of 47,
    but also lacks the power of every single previous entry from Jesper Kyd!

    I think I've sunk about a 100 hours into this game and I'm sure I'll sink even more. A truly monumental game, one that people are going to talk about in 10, 20, 30 years. I love it and I still keep finding something new after playing it for almost a decade.

    I would personally put this game in a list of top 10 games of all time. This was arguably the series peak before the polarizing B movie style of Absolution and the episodic but brilliant Hitman 2017. Blood Money still stands up against any of the games that followed it despite now being over a decade old.

Blood Money still stands up against any of the games that followed it despite now being over a decade old.

    They finally got everything just about perfect in this game. Graphically for its time it was impressive and the visual style and presentation has really stood the test of time and perhaps even improved with age. Some of the best video game levels I've ever experienced are in this one game; The Tosca Theatre level "Curtains Down", the brilliant suburbs of McMansions in "A New Life", the serpentine hallways of the mansion in "You Better Watch Out". On and on I could go, there wasn't really a weak level in the game and at its best I'd consider it amongst the finest level design ever put into a video game.

    The replay value is such that probably at least once a year I will load this up on steam and play it through start to finish. The xbox version has a very unfortunate issue where it cannot be played via HDMI cable due to some issue with the now arcane 50/60 HZ display options. To simplify matters you basically cannot play Blood Money on a HDTV without a specific adapter. So invariably it falls to my steam copy of it but it's telling that I liked this game enough I bought it for PS2 (at launch), Xbox 360 (until I got a TV made after 2009) and Steam (£3 in a sale, worth 10 times that).

    The levels beg to be explored, accidents can befall your targets in a variety of unique and interesting way and the feeling of finishing with the top ranking of Silent Assassin on a level is up there with Dark Souls in terms of satisfaction. Add in weapon upgrades and a cash payment system that ranks your performance on missions and there is plenty to do.

    I think I'm most impressed by how well this game holds up even now when it has a AAA follow up utilizing far more power hardware to run and create it. For it's time the levels are huge and so much is happening in them for you to learn and exploit. The storyline is the series strongest by far and is always brilliant in the way it ebbs and flows to a grand finale. The sound design is iconic to me, the blaring horns that start Tosca booming around the opera theatre, the sound of the waterfalls off the side of the vineyard, the pouring rain during the White House level and of course Ave Maria playing over the brilliant title screen (a shot of your own funeral that gets more populated with each target you kill as you progress). It is all phenomenally put together

    Controls are remarkably smooth and crisp and just engross you in the game. You learn to rely on scouting the area and making your move at the right moment but if it comes to gun play then it reveals itself to be suitably smooth to target and satisfyingly visceral to pull the trigger.

    I can think of few games over the years that I have consistently come back to, time and time again and always had as much fun as the first time I played them. In these terms this games stands up there with Final Fantasy 7, Super Mario 64, GTA 5 and a few rare others that are just such masterpieces of game design they seemingly never age.

    The series took a sharp downward turn with Absolution and whilst it wasn't for everybody it was at it's heart still a solid Hitman game. It took them over a decade to get back near the level of what this game achieved with far less and I've never really played a 3rd person stealth game that gets it as right as this one does, perhaps aspects of MGS V, even the newest iteration seems to hold your hand a little bit too much.

    Blood Money gave its player a lot of credit for being intelligent and thinking outside the box and rewards you for such a play style unlike any other game. When you are capable of playing Blood Money well, when you know the ins and outs perfectly you all but feel like the professional assassin Agent 47 is. If you should see this on a steam sale and you just never gave it a chance then please do because you truly do not know what you are missing; one of the greatest video games ever made.    … Expand

    Absolutely perfect game ! Those who didn't find it great maybe had the pirated version and stuff which had bugs.I STRONGLY recommend you to try this game and I ASSURE you that you won't regret it,It's a very creative game,wish it had more missions though.I Started the game right at PROFESSIONAL Mode and took 1 month to finish it.I give this game a straight 10/10.

    Love this game. You can either complete your assignments by killing the targets sneakily, or by going on a M4 carnage and kill everyone including civilians. Love the music, definitely keeps you hooked in the "assassin" scenario. 47 is also an interesting character, voice actor is perfect.

    Aside from minor frame stutter that was eliminated by making a simple adjustment in the launcher (enabling SLI even though I don't run an SLI setup), this game is the definition of perfect. The best stealth game you will ever play. There is nothing else to say.

    Many good strategies. But things just takes too slow. Graphics are very old and bad. This game is just too unrealistic.This character will be too suspicious. I like the rampage. I want to see more rampage gameplay on youtube. But if I want to play rampage, graphics are too old and bad. Playing games like Crysis would be much better.

The gameplay is so deep, you can (and are usually encouraged to) spend a ton of time wandering the levels noticing tiny little things you can exploit to accomplish your objectives stealthily. This is definitely a thinking person's game, especially if you resist the urge to check a walkthrough.

    Unfortunately the game doesn't strongly encourage super-stealthy play. Sure if you go around guns blazing you'll generally fail, but you can shoot your way out of a messy ending in a lot of levels and not suffer much. The rewards for a very stealthy "silent assassin" performance are mostly that you feel like a badass... you do get more money but money is not very useful in this game. That was really the only real blemish I could find in this game. The story is somewhat weak and plodding, but it's not awful and I didn't find myself skipping any cut scenes.

    I loved the ambiance and level design, along with the gameplay they were my favorite part. You go do your dubious deeds in so many cool places... a shady South American winery, a posh ski mansion, a decadent skyscraper party, and well, any more might be a spoiler. It all looks realistic and cool as hell, it really immersed me in the experience the way good design should.

I'm not saying there is no "silent assassin" in there, because, well, there is and being able to kill with SA grade is usually quite fun but the game discourages to do that.
    Another thing I missed on my hits was planning. Being able to see blueprints BEFORE starting the mission (as in "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin") you could plan your hits, taking appropriate weapons, checking escape routes and fixing the map on your head being able to move much better during the hit. On "Hitman: Blood Money" you blindly step into your mission without any kind of knowledge (on mission start you can buy hints... another quite dumb thing in my opinion).

    This "new" 47 can be seen on cutscenes/plot too (killing witnesses and actually having them in the first place, not being 1 step ahead his enemies, etc). Plot then was far better in "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin", far better.

    On the technical compartment, audio and video are good, surprisingly good actually, I enjoyed both visuals (often stopped during a mission to look at the environment) and audio. Controls are quite good too once you get used to the changes from previous 2 installments (action button split in 3 different action buttons).

    In the end I'd say this game was definitely fun and well made but not enough to beat the enjoyment that "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin" gave me back then.    … Expand

    Blood Money is THE classic stealth game. Polished masterpiece it isn't - it's hilariously bad in a lot of ways, the animations and ragdolls, the voice acting and models, but all that is rendered irrelevant. This has near infinite replayability, going through a level a thousand different ways, changing what you do only slightly. You owe it to yourself to play this atleast once, you won't be sorry.

    To end it off, it feels solid and maybe the best in the franchise. Titles in the series before Blood Money felt bitter and awful to me, so please start off with this game if you plan on buying.

Sometimes I'm stuck at how should I kill this target or bypass these guards, etc. However, after learning from my mistakes and knowing the basics of the game, that's when I appreciated it. You look at it and it seems perfect. Taste is, good enough. But actually eating piece by piece, you might find 1 or 2 flaws, like less cheese, or overcooked vegetable or meat.     My most favorite game, because of it's almost never-ending replayability. After 7 years I can still find something new and interesting if I dig deep enough into the missions. I love the locations, the music, the gameplay... It's just near-perfect. The only flaw is the kind of nutty AI, but most often it's only a minor problem.

    A good game, pretty much on the level of the previous games in the series. Just make sure you play it on highest difficulty level so that it were more of a puzzle game rather than a mediocre shooter. Nice ending

Drop an item on the ground and lure them over if you have to. Kill only your target, or kill everybody on the map with a kitchen knife. Speaking of melee weapons, there's a ton ranging from screwdrivers to fire extinguishers and each has its own hilarious animation. Hell, even the ragdoll effect when you shoot somebody is funny in a good way. NPC's run away, scream, and plead for their lives on their knees. Just awesome. Anybody who can appreciate dark humor already owns this game and this review is a waste of time, but since I have an account I want to help raise the score of this masterpiece. Granted, a game can't please everyone, but this is certainly more than 3 goddamn points better than that Absolution trash!!!… Expand

Moments when you would be caught dragging a body, those tense moments when that happened to me added more fun to the game completely. This game also features a notriety system so after each level you an read in a newspaper about your latest hit and your notriety is affected by your performance. Due to the fact that it is not focused on story and scripted events, there is many, many, many different ways to kill your targets, which makes the replay-value high.     The outstanding level variation is similar to games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. I don't think many games have done something that radical in getting a bunch of wildly different scenarios packed into one tense game.

The story is surprisingly good, and quite subtle as well. You don't get bombing production values, but with every mission you feel like things are getting more complicated and interesting. At first I had some serious trouble understanding the game mechanics but once I realized there's loads of ways to solve the missions I very much enjoyed it. What extremely bothered me though is the lack of saving options. At first I had some serious trouble understanding the game mechanics but once I realized there's loads of ways to solve the missions I very much enjoyed it. What extremely bothered me though is the lack of saving options.     People giving this game low score got to be joking. This is not only a squel to a successful series, this is so far the best one. Its different somehow, because there is no more "special services" mission when you make 10 missions to the same client, its much more focused: you get in, get the guy (its not that easy) and get out. What happens inside- thats up to you. whether or not you kill innocent people, whether you leave withnesses, if you shoot the target, poison it, or give him "accident", thats up to you, and its effect last: If you leave withnesses or get caught on security tape (and not destroy it on time) people might recognize you in the following missions (unless you bribe them). You get money for each mission but lose part of your cut if you leave mess that need to be cleaned, even if you just left your famious toxido or pistol in the scene and it need to be picked up. And its always fun to read your "stats" in the news paper in the end of each level, where they describe your assassination, depening on how you did it, of course. I did not expirience any bugs with the game. For the no mid-game savings issue- This is halarious because the game does offer savings, for easier difficulty levels- So if you rather save every few minutes than carefully planning, Just pick up easy difficulty, there is nothing wrong with it, sometimes I run out of patience too, just dont pick up the hardest and complain about it, because the game would never be hard enough if you could save- It was the same with previous hitman titles as well.
    Another good aspect is the story- Most missions are seperated from the others but there is a good story behind the game and a big and thrilling twist in the very last missin
    I think it deserve a 9, but I wanted to balance the not good enough score    … Expand

    This kind of game is the reason why I play them at all. I gave it a 9 because I know it can be even better... Looking forward to the next one...

    While a load of fun, the lack of mid-mission checkpoints really kills it. Some of the missions are pretty long and to have to start all over because of one stupid mistake really ruins it. Also, the A.I. can be really dumb sometimes. Not "dumb" as in easy, but "dumb" as in "lacking intelligence". On the very first mission, I was supposed to take a crate of baking soda into a room.     Agent 47 is back with his merciless killer instincts intact in the latest installment of hitman. The game stays faithful to it's roots with gameplay improvements for the good. The graphics and textures are slick, the cutscenes adhere to the main story and the number of ways you can kill your target are enormous..The satisfaction you get on perfect execution of a mission is worth experiencing...

    In my Top 10 Games of All Time, Hitman: Blood Money EASILY goes down as a 5th or 4th.
    Everything in the game just works perfectly, it almost flows like a ballet.
    Literally, everything down to graphic visuals, story, gameplay and soundtrack is top notch.     I think what I enjoy most about Hitman: Blood Money, is the fact that it makes you FEEL like an assassin. Like a highly professional HITMAN. Every mission is unique and will keep you occupied for quite some time while you wander around in the area, thinking how you should kill your target. It's like being Sherlock Holmes, that is, if Sherlock Holmes was a homicidal brute.

    Music is great, exactly what you would expect from Jesper Kyd. Have to say, that opening with the raven sitting on a dead tree with Ave Maria playing in the background sucked me right into the game.

    Others may say that you have the choice of going in guns blazing, or being a silent sneaky murderer. Well, I have to say that's not quite true. When Eidos made Blood Money, I think they expected everyone to go in as a silent assassin and not shooting everything that moves. Trying to go into an area just roughing stuff up will prove quite difficult and will definitely kill you on the first 8 tries.

    Anyway, no matter how you twist it, Hitman: Blood Money is perhaps one of the most well-crafted video games ever and if you like stealth-based games, this one will be a 10/10 for you.    … Expand

    Hitman Blood Money gives you an epic feeling and is by far the best stealth game ever made. Alltho there is some glitches and random bugs, this game is fantastic with you're choice of weapon and you're choice of dealing with the bad guys.

If you've calculated your methodology, the execution is a piece of cake. Soundtrack- as always with Hitman- is very suspensful and creates the desired atmosphere perfectly. The only real issue with this game is that there isn't enough ways to approach each mission.     I played this game a few years back, beaten it multiple times on different difficulties to get the ranks on the levels, that was on my PS2 but now i'm back for more with the PC version, yes, I didn't want to own the same game in 2 platforms before. I'm making an exception with this one, and it's definitely worth it.

    Loved this game! Especially by comparison with Assassin's Creed - this is far better! I mean, common, just look at the variety of missions (not gonna spoil all the fun) as compared with Assassin Creed's boring one-liners!

    I think this game is the best hitman game to date because it added many innovations to the series like the accidents and the ability to buy weapon upgrades. It has a very good story but not as good as Hitman 2 Silent Assassin which in my opinion had the best story in the whole series.The graphics are good and the AI is one of the best AIs.     This game never gets old. It's fun to take out your targets whether its running in there and using your weapons, environment etc. There's a lot of ways to do it.

It really is an improvement on the previous titles, the sheer number of ways to carry out your goals is brilliant, the locations seem realistic and lively and the backstories and settings for your target add wonderful fluff to the game. The 'infamy meter' is also a fantastic addition to the gameplay, giving a sense of continuity to the missions andHighly highly recommend this game! The way the ranged weaponry is done could be improved however but if you're intending to go through running and gunning I think you're doing it wrong. I also love how many different ways there are to complete each mission, and how it's possible to complete the game without firing a single shot. The level of weapon customization is also pretty impressive, you can upgrade guns more than you can in CoD games. My only criticisms would be towards the quality of some of the character's faces (the game's also a few years old now, so that's understandable). I also found the main story to be not very compelling and weird, and above all, unnecessary. I mean, it's called Hitman, you don't really need more of an explanation for why you're doing the stuff you're doing. I also did find occasional errors where I would be detected even where there's no logical reason for it happening, and civilians being credited as witnesses, even though there were none. But again, these are just minor flaws in a pretty impressive package. If you even mildly liked the other Hitman games, you will LOVE this.… Expand

I put this in its own category because unlike other stealth games in which you either hide in shadows/boxes/etc., in Hitman: Blood Money you can hide in shadows or "hide" in plain sight. Taking you full control of playing any type of hit man you desire to be. Of course the option of getting the biggest2011 and still coming back to this game. Every time I play this game i find a new way to complete the objective or paths to take that it feels fresh. Great mechanics, great music, great environment, each level being completely different. Though of course it is not perfect. The NPC are not the smartest in the world and though the character models look good seems like they had only one male and one female model for the whole game. They just added new skins. Last thing I can complain about it is the controls, a bit of a learning curve.… Expand
