    One of my childhood favorite games! My dad who isn't really a gamer introduced me to this game and I used to play it a lot in his office after doing my homework. Brings back memories... Even though this game was released in 2012 it's still beautiful and doesn't feel like it's an old game.

    ich habe es schon vor langer Zeit gespielt und fand das Spiel wirklich sehr gut, die Grafik ist schon genial aber hier hat echt alles gestimmt, nur zum empfehlen!

    Çok iyi bir senaryo ve karakterler. muhteşem atmosfer, güzel gizlilik mekanikleri. oyunun ilk yarısı 10/10 sa ikinci yarısı 10/6ydı.

    hard game, fun, beautiful graphics, fluid and perfect animations and good ragdoll physics (except when you are pulling a body because it is very buggy) Game too violent

    only problem with this game is that if you kill someone you lose points and the coolest thing is to kill and not go in 100% stealth

    I think it's a very nice game, even if it's made in 2012, its graphics are pretty good, gameplay is fluid, but throwable objects and killing styles are a little less than that, but nice game

    Hitman absolution, is a stealth, action adventure game.
    The core gameplay of the Hitman, is to kill the targets in a level which created specifically for stealth gamestyle. The game's level design is not open ended like new serie. All the killing paths are pre configured for player. The events are mostly not triggered until the player came closer the event area. And once the player choses    Hitman absolution, is a stealth, action adventure game.

    But still, Level design of the hitman absolution is still great after these all years.
    And one of the best reason Hitman's level design is so good is, Game's mechanics.
    The game has all the fundamental mechanics for a stealth game. All the mechanics and animations are still enjoyable after all these years. And these mechanics are really helps the level design much more pretty.
    Hitman absolution is one of the iconic stealth game of the game world, and i think every player who loves stealth and pretty level designs, must play this game at least once.    … Expand

    My favourite stealth action...
    It has good graphics with a cinematic picture, interest game-play and well designed locations, plot is simple but is interest.
    My advice on difficulty level: the higher the level you choose, the better your gaming experience will be.

    학살극을 벌일수도, 전통적인 방법으로 암살할수도 있는게임. 어찌됐건 우리의 코드네임 47은 여전히 멋있고 스토리 또한 훌륭함. 2012년 게임이라고는 믿겨지지않을 정도로 훌륭한 그래픽.

Здесь нечего сказать, надо в нее самому поиграть. Эти миссии просто прекрасны, и тогда я еще злился на них. Эти пистолеты с глушителем, это вообще, отдельный текст про них, когда у меня их забрали нужно было действовать другим оружием или удавкой, славо богу что я их вернул в магазине, долгая история. The story is very good and the characters have their own personalities. After every level you will be interested in the continuous events. The game is short very short if you only go through the levels, but there are many ways to solve certain goals. You have to play each level many times to try all of these possibilites. The game rewards you if you explore and find other approaches to eliminate a target, for instance. A challenge section is always a fool but clever solution to lenghten a game. The disguise system is realistic. A group of members who work together and know each other will be suspicious to you if you wear their uniform. Many people have written that the disguise system doesn't work in absolution. I have to say it works much better than in other games. In some cases i couldn't understand why the guards were very suspicious or not, but in more of the cases it worked very well. The line of sight is predictable, the NPC's are intelligent enough to communicate each other, report and search well. Guards have 4 state in alertness. The normal when they are doing their daily routine, the hostile when they are attacking you, Hunting when they are searching you with big forces and after you hide they will stay in a searching state until the end of the current mission. So forget the assassin's creed guards who don't care about their pals' death. The crowd in the game is awesome. You can blend in it and when you shoot or explode a bomb the people will panic and run away in a realistic way. You can use many objects, types of weapons which have their own advantages. The saving system is bad. There are checkpoints, but it can be frustrating when you have to start a mission from the beginning. I have found some bugs, but i can forgive them, the game was tested well. The game is challenging if you don't want to kill or disturb any NPCs except the target. In summary, it is a really good game.… Expand

    aun despues de haber jugado los titulos mas recientes de Hitman de square enix, puedo afirmar que a nivel de jugabilidad este juego a envejecido bastante bien, pese a que cuenta con algunos puntos bajos en la narrativa y los personajes aun es una experiencia de Hitman bastante disfrutable.

Тоесть разрабы заменили качество количеством. Стрельба приятная. Не Мафия 2, но уже хоть что-то. Прогресс по сравнению с предыдущими частями в этом плане колоссальный. Плюс еще появилась ульта, во время которой Хитман как из фильма "Особо Опасен" раскидывает всех врагов поблизости в слоу мо. Эхх... как же много прекрасного в год выходило раньше.     This was my first Hitman game and i absolutely liked it. The graphics reminded me of Far Cry 3. I liked the story, the stealth is kept simple so as to allow non-Hitman audiences to adapt to this franchise easily. The maps were extremely well detailed and the stealth gameplay was fluid. The story was good enough for me but might disappoint Hinman fans.

    The best stealth shooter. The game has beautiful graphics, many types of weapons and tasks can be performed in various ways. Although the game has become easier compared to the previous parts of the series, the stealth has remained at the same high level. It is still interesting to play it, I even passed the game twice.

    Play Blood Money after playing Absolution, and then tell me which one is a better reflection of how games should be in 2012. Absolution is technically, amazing. ~700 NPCs on screen in China Town. Далеко не в каждой главе клон с удавкой получает заказ. Не раз и не два вам предложат «обойти копов», да и вообще наш живчик со штрих-кодом непривычно часто из охотника превращается в дичь. Как правило, эти уровни выглядят как несколько переплетенных коридоров. Спасительной безликой толпы здесь нет, убийца остается один на один со стражами порядка или с организованной преступностью. Легендарный киллер перебегает из угла в угол, прячется в мусорных ящиках и вообще ведет себя нетипично: то ли как подвыпивший Солид Снейк, то ли как бомжующий Сэм Фишер. Понятное дело, такие эпизоды раздражают, и стимула пройти их без шума и пыли нет. Так и получается: в тот самый Hitman мы будем играть урывками. Открытые уровни чередуются с линейными забегами, только последних все-таки побольше. Полигонов для проверки навыков киллера немного: Чайна-Таун, стриптиз-бар, захолустный городок Хоуп. Настоящая игра начинается только здесь, в этих компактных локациях с маленькой, но работающей экосистемой. Кое-где вы найдете целые толпы прохожих, среди которых Хитмен прячется не хуже Эцио Аудиторе. Не чета фестивалю Марди-Гра из Hitman: Blood Money, но все же. Однако крепитесь: после редких отдушин сюжет снова утаскивает лысого в ущелья геймдизайна. Широко разрекламированная система контрактов — не пустой звук. В Hitman отродясь не было мультиплеера, кроме таблицы рекордов в Blood Money. «Контракты» же позволяют создавать миссии самому и выставлять на обозрение (за этим режимом я провёл больше всего времени).
    Огорчили линейные эпизоды, охрана и контрольные точки ("спасибо" тогдашней игровой моде).
    Порадовала реиграбельность и неплохая для Hitman история    … Expand

    This series of Hitman was pleasant to me most of all. This story just tremendous! To me it was cheerful to spend time behind a game and to wait for new turn of events. If more freedom of action less straight lines would be ideal!

Но как показала эта игра, у лысого есть душа, да и ещё какая. Эта часть серии пошла совершенно иным путем, она показала нам знаменитую франшизу совершенно с другой стороны. Когда что-то меняют кардинально, неПолноценный сюжет с неплохой историей, то чего совершенно не ждешь от этой серии игр. Лысый убийца - это в первую очередь профессиональный киллер, а потом уже чувствительный человек. Но как показала эта игра, у лысого есть душа, да и ещё какая. Эта часть серии пошла совершенно иным путем, она показала нам знаменитую франшизу совершенно с другой стороны. Когда что-то меняют кардинально, не всегда уверен в том будет ли это стояще, и нужно ли это вообще. Но как оказалось, разработчики доказали свою правоту в этом плане. Я играл в предыдущие части серии и каждая не оставляла меня равнодушным, особенно Blood Money. Вообще вся серия мне нравилась не стандартными подходами к убийству, то есть ты должен сам выбирать как тебе лучше это сделать. В этой части идет упор на сюжет, но она не лишилась своих прошлых достоинств, а только усовершенствовала и приобрела новые.

    Мне действительно было в кайф наблюдать за полноценным сюжет лысого убийцы, я даже чувствовал себя не в своей тарелки. При первом прохождении я говорил себе, что так не должно быть, зачем устраивать какой-то карнавал. Но во время прохождения мое мнение кардинально изменилось. Оно приобрело исключительно положительную форму. Я начал вливаться в жизнь 47-го и мне это нравилось. Ощущение было, будто ты знаешь этого человека давно, но истинную правду узнаешь только теперь, спустя долгое время. Я был полностью удовлетворен сюжетом и тем как разработчики его подали. Даже берет за живое, ибо столько страдания приходиться нести ради сокровенного, но 47-ой это выполняет с полна. Разработчики решили приправить все трагическим сюжетом, чтобы игрок понимал всю суть происходящего и в общем у них это получилось. Есть пару глупых моментов (заданий) которые ни должны были присутствовать в игре, на мой взгляд. Но в целом все получилось, опять же опираясь на тот факт, что это абсолютно не сюжетная игра. У меня бы повернулся язык назвать эту серию симулятором, но ни как игрой с острым сюжетом. Но эта игра доказала обратное.

    Та же свобода действия осталось, ты сам себе режиссер. Думаю можно пройти даже с некой долей пацифизма, но ни полного (лично не пробовал). Мне лично по большей части понравилась реализация убийств. Особенно убийств с холодного оружия, типа ножа. Это изящество проработки тронуло меня до глубины. Как бы невзначай 47-ой втыкает в живот врагу нож и резко достаёт. Ловкость, красота, мастерская техника, все это в одном салате так круто переваривается, что прям хочется убивать и наслаждаться до бесконечности. Если не быть сильно придирчивым, то в принципе вся проработка оружия удовлетворяет.    … Expand

    Great game. Great atmosphere. It gives you a perfect assassin experience. There are many different ways of killing your targets. You can go right in to a bullet-hell, or use stealth, create deceptions, use poisoning or explosives. Level designs and gameplay are great too. Very detailed and immersive. I liked the story too and the characters are deep, with occasional sense of humor.

    its a great game in my opinion, the absorbing story and great cinematic, the stealthy mod is good as previous versions of the game and better than that, in a the fight mod is a great third person shooter. there are several ways to complete the objectives and also so many secrets and easter eggs.

    Как же приятно было осознать насколько игра хороша, понял я это только при втором прохождении. В год выхода меня смутила система рейтингов, начисление очков и их списывание при малейшем проступке, и другая социальное взаимодействие. А на деле игру можно полностью пройти без лишних нейтрализаций и по full стелсу, или отыграть безумца и идти по пути наиболее подходящему.    … Expand

    When i first played it when i came out, i was very very disapointed. dident feel like hitman at all
    But i started 2 days ago to play it again, this time in purist mode and i gotta say i appreciate the game so much more now.
    Dont know if it is couse of purist but it is actually a pretty good game once you get used to the mechanics

Even that I am very annoyed that even in the first Hitman game, when you had a sniper you needed a case to carry it. And once you put it together, only way to to "hide" it was to throw it away. Now you can put the big sniper rifle into your pocket.. hocus pocus. There are few other things that ruins theAt first I thought this was awful game, but during the game I started to like it. Even that I am very annoyed that even in the first Hitman game, when you had a sniper you needed a case to carry it. And once you put it together, only way to to "hide" it was to throw it away.     Hitman is packed with so many levels that you will never get tired of replaying certain sequences. Gameplay is also really good, although you must be open-minded to a new Hitman experience. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed Hitman: Absolution and can recommend it to anyone. For future hitmans: there is never enough dark humor :)

    For those who complain that ''it's not the same as the originals'' I tell say this: Splinter Cell Conviction. I was a huge fan of the old SC games, and I enjoyed SCC as well. Just because the developers decided to go down a different path for the game does not mean that it's a bad game.     Another thing that bugged me very often and very much was the dialouges. No, not the in game dialouges, the cutsene dialouges. I can't be the only one that hated how they all sounded like some action movie trailers:
    - I need the information.
    - Well, that's my bussiness, information! You need information, I find information.

    (Cliche scary bass sound enters after the bass cello in the background)

    I would like to write all of the action movie trailer like cutscenes but onfortunatelty MetaCritic allows only 5000 characters.
    This thing made me hate the game a lot and made me want to just skip all the cutscenes and sacrifice all the storyline, but from what I have read, no one really saw or got irritated by this. Despite I would like to give this a easily a -3, the fact that no one got disturbed by this would decrease the reflection on the game by -1

    What I really loved about the game was the "contracts" and the "absolution". I loved the way that there are now unlimited possible objectives in a map. I know that the maps will bore the player after a time afterall, but I'm sure this feature made the game a lot more fun for the most of the players. Melee fights are kinda lackluster with QT button mashing, but that's not what Hitman is here for anyway, this is about stealth, about being unseen, about moving like a cat in the midst of the enemy territory and silencing the unwanted targets. I loved it, played new Thief recently and even though that's supposed to be primarily even more focused on stealth, I was enjoying Absolution stealth mechanics more. Good old disguise system is here, but this time, they can recognize you if you have the same outfit as them, kinda logical, but also kinda annoying. Loving the environmental opportunities in this game. Absolution is not as exotic as previous games that were all around the world, this feels more like a retro USA road trip, but it's good, it feels compact and more focused to that and there is still pretty good amount of variation here, sometimes even reminiscent of the past - Chinatown, bar, hotel, etc. Story was a bit monotonous, in the vein of get the girl, almost got her, oops, someone else took her, so let's get her again somewhere else and so on, but it was still presented in a nice almost cinematic feel and I really liked the experience overall. 9/10… Expand

I didnt want a game i already played with better graphics and new levels, i wanted something fresh and new.     Game is masterpiece in every aspect, from story to gameplay. Far better than previous "Blood Money". Bots are smarter. Also you can pretend to surrender & other interesting stuff, like creating your own contracts for your friends, or doing your friend's contracts. I enjoyed every mission, from beginning to the end. Graphics are also very good for 2012. In short, Very well made game.

I loved the story line to this game, and the bad-assery in this game was amazing. This game is built around this one person, Victoria who is basically a lab experiment who is a bad ass kid. The agency and a douche named "Dexter" both want her. Agent 47 must protect her. The game was great, the only problem I had was the amount of swearing, but I suppose it is a 18+ game. I would defiantly recommend, and you can kill your enemies in many crafty ways.… Expand

    This game is quite fun. Ive never played a Hitman game before this so i cant compare, but it holds up on its own. Its fun to wonder the areas and find an interesting way to kill your target. Ill never get tired of killing people in a chicken suit.

Guards are overly alert and if you hang around too long or move too quickly past other guards then you will be outed in a flash. Absolution is a lot more challenging than Blood Money. What is completely retarded however is when you take a disguise that has a mask and 47 opts to not wear it....?! Somewhat reminiscent of Hitman 2 where dressing up in full firefighter gear (complete with gas mask) did nothing to avail suspicion.

    Many have said that Absolution has done for Hitman what Conviction did for Splinter Cell... This isn't true since Absolution is undoubtedly a well-crafted (albeit different) gaming experience whereas Conviction was a total disaster.

    However:

    - Checkpoint system is clumsy
    - The various uses for Instinct are rendered worthless since you will use up most of the ability getting past other guards
    - Performance issues (e.g. the infamous Absolution appcrash error, it took me 2 hours to fix it before I could even begin playing the game)

NPCs feel alive, environments have ridiculous amounts of detail and the game is rocking a sweet sound-track to boot. Of course, the absolute best aspect of this game is the voice acting. This game should win awards for its voice acting, it's THAT good. Almost every character in each level has something to say as you walk by them. You'll want to stop and hear what they say, too, because they usually have some interesting things to say, like how there's a toxic barrel of waste on the balcony, or that they get a serious allergic reaction when they eat peanuts.     Well the only thing that bothered me was the achievement system, which is built like a regular arcade game that makes you play just hit the top score with "already given!" assassination styles as you see in the very names of the achievements. That blew whole magic out of it...

    I really enjoyed this game. I have not played any Hitman games before until this one so I am not sure what the others are like but this one was a lot of fun from my perspective. The graphics were good and the objectives were fun. I didn't follow the story too well but from what I gathered it was pretty good. No bugs or issues.     This game was fun and full of action, but it did have some problems. The worst part of this game is probably the lack of manual saving. I've had this game crash THREE times in under 30 minutes, but nothing else after that. The disguise system works, but was sometimes annoying because people would notice you anyway, but it can be saved by using the Instinct key.     This game is a lot of fun, great graphics, the game-play and story could use a bit more work they could have made the game a bit longer as well. But other than that this game is really fun and it is worth the money.

    The graphics are awesome, the game is very ruthless, but you can manage to go through a mission without actually doing it 'the right way'. Lots of options on how to kill your targets if you are patient and spend time exploring the maps. I like the story aswell. Graphically, it ranks high when compared with games launched around its release time. Every frame of any cutscene can be transformed into a beautiful art piece to hang on your walls. The cutscenes connect the gameplay seamlessly. Gameplay-wise, it's a good improvement from its predecessors as 47 feels more natural than ever. The cover system is really well made even though sometimes your head is way above the counter you're hiding behind. Intuition, as a gameplay mechanic, is great. It will convince even the most brutal player not to kill every NPC and it also serves as a "tutorial" for new players or for those who want to get their hands on the highest difficulties. If you finished any other Hitman game, be sure to try the tougher challenges too. The multiplayer part of it consists in creating and completing contracts made by your friends. Not only will it challenge your friends but creating a good contract will also challenge you to complete it first, to prove that it can be done. If playing on PC, I highly recommend using a controller when playing Absolution. Not that keyboard & mouse aren't great, but you'll get the most out of its cinematic experience. In conclusion, a great game, polished and not a full 10 because of a couple bugs.… Expand

    best game ever.hitman absolution isnt good becuase of its story (not that the story not good) its good becuase of the assassination.every kill is very setisfieng and there are a lot of ways to kill your enemies.contracts mode is very good but a littile hard.never mind.so anyway hitman absolurion deserve a 10/10.so buy it.

    I've never played the other Hitman games, but I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I really didn't expect to, as I figured the entire franchise was slow and clunky, but this was fun and engaging.

The movement system is like a combination of "DeusEx human revolution" and the old "Tomb raider" games. There are many ways of completing a mission.     And, ultimately, the game is just fun. It's a lot of fun.

    The only game mechanics I don't like: the you can't just adopt a disguise and walk around willy nilly, as people (with the same disguise) will see through it. And mashing a button to 'subdue' a person is kind of silly. Just let me press the button and be done with it. And some missions drift away from the open-ended 'figure out how to kill these guys'. But I'm okay with that.

    I suppose if you were looking for a clone of Blood Money with better graphics you might be disappointed. But regardless, if you judge it as a game on its own merits, it's very well put together, well presented, and very fun.    … Expand

But F*** IO Interactive can construct a game with awesome non-liner missions, awesome detailed, rich maps unlike a lot of game etc. Farcry 3.     Despite the deviations and minor shortcomings, it remains true to its roots. It just brushes them aside for a while, just long enough for it to tell its story- a story where the traditional contracts and other usual components just wouldn’t fit. [January 2013]

    It's not a bad game by any means, and it does fix some problems with the controls that plagued previous games, but having the story that essentially makes Agent 47 less of a hitman and more of an espionage hero, makes Absolution a decent stealth game but not a fantastic Hitman game.
