    My first hitman game and i remember playing it as a kid and just having a blast having a really good time but recently i tried it again and game sadly isn't as good as i remember, still enjoyable to some i feel.

    The developers tried something new with this game but it didnt really work out. This is a decent game itself but the worst Hitman game of them all.

    The first Hitman game I've played. Story doesn't make much sense but it's okay because of funny stealth gameplay. I would recommend to get Hitman: Absolution in sales. It's a good time-killer.

    It is one of the best stealth games. Changing clothes was fun. It is one of the legendary games I played in my childhood. I liked the cinematic presentation even though it was boring at times.

    Hitman is a game for those who love, appreciate and respect stealth, which is very sophisticated in this game.
    Many ways to stealthily kill, from poisoning to exploding a car or falling from a height. We will add a good storyline and game design to the excellent stealth. As for optimization: it will pull on the microwave. But the minus is the    Do I recommend this game? Definitely yes.

    This one was good but was weird because i played it after Hitman and Hitman 2, going back to an older game is always weird, but i loved it.

    My first Hitman game, pretty fun. I liked all the characters they were all acted and animated well and were pretty interesting. The plot was okay, I was kind of disappointed in how it ended. Gameplay was pretty clunky but fun.

    Absolution looks pretty nice maxed out even quite a bit of years after it's original release.     Absolution looks pretty nice maxed out even quite a bit of years after it's original release. The performances of the actors were pretty well done too, with 47 especially standing out as a mythical, relentless force of nature.

    If you crave a challenge then disabling the x ray vision and enemy paths is a must, otherwise the gameplay remains too hand holdy. When enemies spot you, instead of rushing your cover, they tend to shoot at empty space beside you, which just looks comical. The one mechanic that really drags down the entire experience is how fast enemies see through your disguise. I understand when you take a disguise of someone who's profession has very few members in the area and they make you out pretty fast since they by logic should know each other, but even when there are a lot of members of the same profession, they make you out so fast that it just feels like total BS. Like when you get a Chicago PD uniform, all the cops make you out like they're all cousins or some crap, it makes no sense.

    The game environments offer quite a bit of diversity, both in look and feel, in traversal, aswell as they give you a decent amoount of options in how to take out your targets, then again that's what Hitman should be all about i assume.

    A hitman game where you spend 80% of the time not assassinating people, and 15% of the time watching the people you're supposed to assassinate get killed in cutscenes. Nice linear piece of crap.

    - Since this is the first Hitman game I've ever played, this is just a tentative score. After I finish Hitman, this score will probably change.

    What I liked:
    - I had FUN, and lots of it. I've heard the majority of other people say that Absolution is the worst Hitman game in the series, and while I can't comment on whether I agree or disagree (yet), it doesn't take away from the fact that I was very entertained throughout the entire game.
    - Great replayability. Even though the missions tend to be pretty linear, there are still multiple paths to take. Getting one disguise vs another can change the way an entire level plays out.
    - (Once again, this is my introduction to the Hitman series) The disguise system. I've read about other Hitman games having a different disguise system that I believe is more lenient? Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the other games, enemies with the same disguise will not recognize you. This doesn't apply to Absolution, and while that may be frustrating for some, I was okay with it. It made the levels a bit more difficult and prevented players from just taking a disguise and skipping through the whole thing

    - Some of the levels were pretty linear. From what I've read, this is a stark departure from other Hitman games which tend to be more open. For me, I don't mind the linearity. I felt that I had enough freedom (due to the multiple paths you can take) that a good amount of the levels still felt relatively open to me.

    What I disliked:
    - Enemy AI: oftentimes silly, exploitable, and entertaining. There's nothing like crouching in plain sight while enemies with no peripheral vision walk in circles around you.
    - Bugs/glitches. Small things here and there are completely understandable for a game of this caliber, but they do add up. Button prompts not appearing, having to redo an entire level because of a save issue, etc. This game isn't a bug-filled mess like something akin to Fallout 76, but sometimes it did get a bit frustrating trying to garrote an enemy while lacking the button prompt to do so.
    - Some of the levels were strange. I got the feeling that they were trying hard to make it an even 20 levels, but if that requires so much padding that an entire level is just heading to a shop to get a new suit, or heading to a shop to retrieve your signature Silverballers and play a generic shooting range minigame, or heading to a shop to... and so on, then it becomes pretty apparent which levels are meant to be pure filler.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Hitman Absolution is fine, the story is great, and visually too. It's about how 47 protects the little girl from the CIA or FBI (i forgot), from turning into him, but then some of the **** villians ever in the franchise kidnaps the girl and holds her ransom from the government.

    The **** part about the whole game is the **** scoring system, they deduct your points for killing a "non-target" personnel but you had to do it because if you'd kill the primary target, that non-target will spot you and then the mission fails. Agent 47 is supposed to be a badass-looking guy who only wants to kill anyone who gets in his way but the scoring system makes it worse and puts Agent 47 into a pacifying primary target only killing guy.
    I'd be fine if the scoring system doesn't control half of the arsenal or perks in the game.

    The only good thing about this game is how you can choose on how you can kill the target, there are creative kills set out for the target, you can poison them, or you can kill them using debris. There are a lot of traps or how you can kill your target, but the fact that they have bodyguards which again are non-target personnel that deducts your point if you kill them.

    The biggest strength about Hitman is it's gameplay but Hitman Absolution describes it as: "Gameplay? **** that!" which made Hitman Absolution really bad due to it's horrible gameplay. (The scoring system still pisses me off on how it works.)    … Expand

    Kein schlechtes Stealth Spiel, welches dazu auch noch eine gute Story hat.
    Ich habe sowieso das Gefühl, dass die meisten negativen Kommentare von Leuten kommen die Absolution mit den alten Hitman teilen vergleichen.

There is an actual story in this game which is really bad and doesn't make sense a lot of the time. The gameplay feels smoother but I don't like the inclusion of instinct, it makes the game too easy.     Despite the deviations and minor shortcomings, it remains true to its roots. It just brushes them aside for a while, just long enough for it to tell its story- a story where the traditional contracts and other usual components just wouldn’t fit. [January 2013]

    It's not a bad game by any means, and it does fix some problems with the controls that plagued previous games, but having the story that essentially makes Agent 47 less of a hitman and more of an espionage hero, makes Absolution a decent stealth game but not a fantastic Hitman game.
