With the end of Season One upon us, we can safely conclude that IO Interactive has delivered the best Hitman game to date, with its only weak points being the somewhat lackluster story so far and the "Always-online" component, which could potentially cause issues again. A true successor to Blood Money and if you somehow resisted in trying it, we urge you to do that ASAP, especially if you liked the installments before Absolution.

Hokkaido is a confident and experimental end to a great season.

Hitman Episode 6: Hokkaido is one of the best levels this season and a great mission to end the year on.

Episode 6: Hokkaido is a brilliant and good looking episode which offers you a lot of replay value. An absolutely good ending for Hitman Season 1, indeed.

This is a playground that doesn't feel overly gamified. It's something I'd want to periodically return to just to roam around in it and take in the sights.
