The game was overall enjoyable, if not a little too casual. If you played Heroes of Might and Magic 3 before playing this game (I suggest you should try HoMM 3 first), you won't have much difficulties beating this game even at Impossible difficult. This chapter however has one hard last level (out of 8) which will require some skill. If you buy this game, you won't buy it for the challenge or the game mechanic as it is already included in HoMM 3, but you buy it for the story, as the story is really good and is a part of the main hero: Tarnum's tale. If you only read the summary on wikipedia page, you won't get the whole things, there are more than that in the game. Expand

It's just a little too light on the amount of gameplay included to recommend to veteran HOMM fans.
  2. The game sounds better than it looks.
  3. The missions themselves are fairly long, and you might grow weary of having to use the same set of units toward the end of the game.
