RobS.Apr 29, 2003It is the next level of RTS. The game is hard when you start off, but when you get into it Hegemonia is one hell of a game.

ChipApr 20, 2003Great game. A little slow at first but it picks up. Overall game play is ok but the graphics are amazing. If you love space games, this one knocks out most of the recent compition just with it's graphics! good gamin'!

BernSteinJan 3, 2003Well it is fantastic!! After years of gaming not even blizzard's warcraft could really catch me ... although hegemonia has many flaws it has that sort of complexity most games lack... for all you who loved homeworld THIS is its successor, while waiting for hw2.

LarryW.Dec 10, 2002Graphics are stunning. The only complaint I have is that your economy gets thrown out at the end of every mission so you have to start over.

Jan 5, 2020One of the best space RTS in the world. The graphic very good, the gameplay and music fatastic. And the story is very good. Only one sad thing: no Haegemonia 2, and cannot continue the story :(

One of the best looking space games out there. Unfortunately its gameplay can not match its eye-popping visuals... It just lacks the depth and hands on control strategy gamers expect from their games.
-
Drop-dead gorgeous... [but] one of Hegemonia's major failings is that its real-time combat is usually simplistic and dull.

It's a solid game that looks amazing. Just don't expect it to be quite the epic struggle that "Homeworld" managed to be.
