    Unstable connections + rigged win/lose system. The more you pay - the more lucky card draws you'll get. Also a lot of bots that play withour mistakes, farming gold/rank/arena.

    Very few cards are playable, which leads to monotonous and repetitive gameplay. Also, for some reason both Blizzard and their audience think that this is a TCG and treat is as such. I like to treat it as a videogame, because that's exactly what it is. They don't print cards, you can't trade cards and you shouldn't spend hundreds of dollars for virtual cards that are designed to be bad on purpose.

    The Sesame Street of card games is what Hearthstone is. Popular for the same reason Call of Duty is that it appeals to the biggest market (casuals) and makes a game even from rng or random cards, but that is where it stops. Unlike other card games you can trade, you can talk to your opponent actually understand them, you can play moves on their turns as a control method and you have a method of ramping your deck up to play the cards you want. Hearthstone has none of these and this is where you have to decide if you want to keep losing to people who pay money or join the pay2win club. Once you make it to this point you can decide for yourself of you can invest in a paper card game where you have everything Hearthstone has to offer by x1000.

    There is a reason why paper card game players are not fond of Hearthstone, it could dumb down the whole genre of trading card games, and to the fact that it masquerades as a trading card game when it isn't. The artwork is pretty disappointing as well.    … Expand

As you new player, all you longed for was a competitive collection. But it takes years or hundreds of dollars to gain such. As a veteran, you grow more weary of the game every day and remain in perpetual hope that the next DLC will change something but it never does. There is only torment and despair to be found here

    I have a serious love hate relationship with this game. I have enjoyed it for months, but for me it's ruined by 1 card... Reno Jackson. Until they rotate that pos card, this game can rot in hell.

    Contra: -Pay 2 Win - 100% unbalanced (pick druid and you will dominate that trash) -RNG is absolut **** how is it possible i have to start in 9/10 games? -if you play arena (random cards + hero) you will probably face enemies with 3+ legendaries while you have 0 (happend to me in literally every arena game i did) So if you like to pay for a game but get **** by    Pro:

    -Pay 2 Win
    - 100% unbalanced (pick druid and you will dominate that trash)
    -RNG is absolut **** how is it possible i have to start in 9/10 games?

In other words its a "Free" game that if u dont want to get destroyed all the time because matchmaking WILL match u with ppl that have fullSadly only vets can enjoy this game. 1st thing u have to do is pay the game in a free model so u can build a dissent deck and then u have to play hunter for at least a month so u dont have to pay more to buy the adventure and get the essential cards.     Hearthstone's tagline: Deceptively simple, insanely fun is very descriptive of the kind of game that Blizzard set out to make and in many ways did succeed to make.

    At it's core, hearthstone mechanics is easy to grasp, but the skill ceiling of the game is pushed much higher by decks with intricate combos and game plans. In hearthstone, I have always leaned towards combo oriented decks    Hearthstone's tagline: Deceptively simple, insanely fun is very descriptive of the kind of game that Blizzard set out to make and in many ways did succeed to make.

    At it's core, hearthstone mechanics is easy to grasp, but the skill ceiling of the game is pushed much higher by decks with intricate combos and game plans. In hearthstone, I have always leaned towards combo oriented decks and it has always been super satisfying to pull out complex combos and crush my opponent's face.

    However, having played for years, I have to give HS a negative review. Firstly, the monetisation of this game is extremely greedy compared to many other games. The card packs are priced at close to the cost of TCG's physical cards when the value of virtual cards are nowhere close to that of physical cards. The simplest example to highlight HS's greedy monetisation, the preorder bundle for the upcoming expansion costs 80USD and does not provide even half of the full content of the expansion.

    Another thing that has really bugged me playing this game over the years is how Blizzard have always been slow to react to community feedback about balance and QoL changes. The community had to beg for months just to have additional deck slots.

    Also, it is simply embarrassing that a gaming company as storied as Blizzard is still unable to provide simple features like replay functionality even 6 years after the game's launch. It is also indicative of Blizzard's greed that the battleground's statistic page is priced behind the 20USD battlegrounds perks. I could buy several indie games for the same price, and all I get from the 20USD perks, is a statistic page, ability to use emoticons and the ability to choose from 2 more characters which is strictly speaking, p2w.    … Expand

    A truly Wondrous innovation of the 21st century.

    Since i started playing this game a few years back, i was addicted by the somewhat cutesy cartoonish WoW characters that brought me a sense of nolstagia when i used to play WoW, not to mention the incredible voice acting that got me hooked. As time passes, i was even more amazed by the immense skill of my opponent that drops a card called    A truly Wondrous innovation of the 21st century.

    Since i started playing this game a few years back, i was addicted by the somewhat cutesy cartoonish WoW characters that brought me a sense of nolstagia when i used to play WoW, not to mention the incredible voice acting that got me hooked. As time passes, i was even more amazed by the immense skill of my opponent that drops a card called dr boom to destroy my board and give me immense damage. I decided to spend a few hundred dollars so i could be as skilled as my opponent.

    Fast forward a few years to present, i realized that the developers of this game gets even more amazing and skilled as time passes by. No longer is dropping a 7 mana 7/7 with 2 1/1s that hits for random 4 damage a powerful card, the developers went and outdone themselves by allowing one to go super saiyan mode!
    At present, dropping a 11/9 worth of stats on turn 1 leaving your opponent powerless is the newest craze by hearthstone fanatics who loves playing a deckcalled zoolock. Having combo pieces that kills or wipes your opponent board on turn 7 with a heavy board presence is also considered a norm, no wonder card games like yu-gi-oh did not have much success. Imagine how amazing the game would be if you could put pieces of exodia on your board with 25k worth of hp, that would
    have make the game more balanced, according to some hearthstone paid - sorry i mean fans of the game. No wonder some of these fans were saying how hearthstone is a game that is more difficult then chess. How could i disagree with them when chess does not have bishops and knights instantly killing half of your opponents board when they land on certain squares?

    There are err many? some? people who does not appreciate the ingenuity of putting peanut butter and hot spices mixed with a coconut drink. I am sure some of hearthstone

Se parece más a una tragaperras (necesitas pagar para divertirte y es todo pura aleatoriedad) que a otros juegos de cartas como Magic The Gathering.     The game collects information about your cards and deck and then interferes into the game process so that there is absolutely no random but a calculated and predefined set of action happening.
    You can thoroughly think over your turns but eventually the computer just wont let you win if your win rate is reaching certain percentage.

    Battlegrounds is a fun mode, but super luck dependent, and the Arena suffers from the same issues as competitive: snowball effect can kill you without having a chance to react.

    Update: problems of luck and hyper-powerful cards are increasing every expansion. Your skill and experience don't matter in the slightest. Encountering 12/12 on the third turn against the druid, losing to single cards, and opponents generating basically an infinite amount of cards from nothing absolutely soured my experience with Hearthstone.     I've been playing since launch.. Love the Duels game mode and Wild. Sometimes I dabble in Standard but not much for it. I just wish balance changes would come out sooner or better.

    The biggest ever joke of a "free to play" game. Free to play but most obviously and ridiculously "PAY TO WIN". Another product of the continuing legacy of Blizzard's broken games. If you value your time and don't want to be humiliated by stupid mechanics, totally unfair RNG, and trash bugs, consider ignoring this game. You will thank me afterward!

    It was good before. Now it's a roll fest. There no game, it's a solidare who plays their combo first. No balance, death knight decks have 70% winrate and blizz does nothing about it. They heal increase their health for 20-40 cards and then heal for a billion. Who the hell has fun playing 40 minute matches to lose after that?

    When Blizzard announced they were making a digital CCG, we all expected it to look and sound beautiful, and there was little doubt that it would be well-balanced, but I don’t think anyone anticipated this level of sophistication and subtle brilliance.
