While there’s not a whole lot for players to do in the single-player campaign after they punch out the content on normal and heroic difficulty, the cards that can be acquired here will have impact in casual, ranked, and arena play for years to come.

As a single-player campaign, Blackrock Mountain isn’t quite as well-tuned as Curse of Naxxramas, but it makes up for that shortcoming by somehow being even funnier.

Despite being a little bit too short, Blackrock Mountain is a fun and compelling new adventure for Hearthstone.

If it's more surprising, rule-breaking encounters that you're after, then look no further.

A great campaign for Hearthstone, one that the fans of the original game really shouldn't miss. It's not cheap, but really adds new hours of pure fun to the experience.

While it may not look as dazzling as Naxxramas, Blackrock Mountain expansion is still the best add-on yet, edging out the card-only Goblins vs Gnomes. I'm still chipping away at the Heroic fights, and with how many card options are available at this point, I'll probably be messing around with custom decks for weeks.

We go back to the hardcore fantasy and the Minion class dragons are awesome! The single-player is a little short, but the unique cards and play style make up for it.

Essential for those keen to keep up, and boasting memorable new fights. [July 2015, p.74]

Blackrock Mountain is a fun adventure, provided you’re willing to endure the insanely random Heroic encounters.

I like the fiery atmosphere, final boss finally feels like a real boss with his many transformation phases, I like most of the card you can get, Grim Patron is one of the funniest cards to play and most importantly - Dragons! Lots of new dragons. They finally gave my palladin a purpose as I transformed him into my exclusive Dragonborne class. 8/10 Full Review »
