  • Summary: Heart of Darkness isn't a bad game. It's a bit short and a bit frustrating, but it's always moderately fun and it's occasionally very fun.

It's amusing that this game still looks, sounds and plays amazingly. This is a real forgotten gem, hope it will be released on steam someday.

An underrated game (probably more suited to PC) with a brilliant story line, amazing scenery, graphics and characterisation. It has suspense, dialogue, a sophisticated variety of techniques and challenges and superb action scenes-better than Abe's Odyssey and Crash Bandicoot.
My only concerns would be the slightly amateurish graphics, 2 dimensional format, lack of multiplayer options as well as the difficulty at some stages.
Despite these hiccups the 'charm' and 'soul' of the story more than compensate for these shortcomings.
    Is there a sequel?
