    I adored this game when I was younger, simply magical. An underrated game (probably more suited to PC) with a brilliant story line, amazing scenery, graphics and characterisation. It has suspense, dialogue, a sophisticated variety of techniques and challenges and superb action scenes-better than Abe's Odyssey and Crash Bandicoot.
    My only concerns would be the slightly amateurish graphics,    I adored this game when I was younger, simply magical.     My only concerns would be the slightly amateurish graphics, 2 dimensional format, lack of multiplayer options as well as the difficulty at some stages.
    Despite these hiccups the 'charm' and 'soul' of the story more than compensate for these shortcomings.

    A hidden gem for the ps one and pc platformer fans. A must buy It has amazing gameplay the the CGI is mediocre. Because of the amazing gameplay you can even ignore the cutsceens. I recomend this game to anyone.

    I am kind of in love with this game.
    It has true charm, actual magic and a strong soul.
    It's a game that needs to be played at least once in a lifetime. :)

    A 2d platformer the unique visual style of Heart of Darkness still stands up today. As with all good platformers the game consistently throws new challenges at you and, although this can lead to some frustrating trial and error gameplay on occasions, most fans of the genre will be pleased with what they find here.

    Charming ps1game will always be in my heart , This game has been a memory deep in my psyche and now I can finally play it and say that I should have done it a lot sooner , The game is difficult and it's really difficult in Some parts it feels more like luck then skill if you get through but is satisfying and is part of the Cinematic Platformer To be frustratingly hard .     It's amusing that this game still looks, sounds and plays amazingly. This is a real forgotten gem, hope it will be released on steam someday.

    Un juego infravalorado. Con un peso en la historia fundamental, y esta misma es genial, una jugabilidad que concuerda con la historia, una metáfora en general.

    Un juego creado por los responsables de "Another World" y "Flashback" que tenia un enorme potencial en cuanto a jugabilidad, pero la trama era pobre y como querían dirigirlo a un publico infantil, le dieron un tono blanqueado que no casaba con la intención del título que era dar una ambientación oscura, dándole pinceladas humorísticas que hicieron que los personajes pecaran de serUn juego creado por los responsables de "Another World" y "Flashback" que tenia un enorme potencial en cuanto a jugabilidad, pero la trama era pobre y como querían dirigirlo a un publico infantil, le dieron un tono blanqueado que no casaba con la intención del título que era dar una ambientación oscura, dándole pinceladas humorísticas que hicieron que los personajes pecaran de ser demasiado tontos, sin necesidad de caracterizarlos de esa manera. Su escasa duración y sus FMV'S hicieron que no hubiera más espacio de almacenamiento por lo que se tuvo que recortar parte del contenido original. El tramo final puede ser todo un sufrimiento si juegas en modo difícil. Muy disfrutable pero efímero. El pre-renderizado le da un toque muy atractivo.… Expand

    Really great game, when I played it as a child I got a feeling that I'm playing dark Dreamworks or Disney animation.

    This is one of the best games ive ever played, it has such a feeling no other game has. Everything is just so well done. The game isnt perfect, I recognize that, but sure it is fantastic. I would recomend everyone to play at least the first levels (screens) of it.
