    Душная игра с херовым управлением и плохо настроенной сложностью. Даже на легком после появления спецназа сложность возрастает в несколько раз, болваны тупо жирные и больно бьют. Сюжет примитивный, будто написан школьником-готом. Стилистика и специфика игры интересные (изза увиденных добиваний и купил игру), но их маловато оказалось, геймплей уныл и репетативен.Душная игра с херовым управлением и плохо настроенной сложностью.     I dont know why is this game is so humiliated. Hatred deserves more good comment in my opinion.

    Honestly the most fun I've had in a long time with games. It's a bit of a shame how soft companies get just because of trying to appeal to everyone.
    Would love to see games related to such simple ideas. Something like Wrath would also be cool. Idk
    I do admit the only issue I faced were optimisations when executing people, but I don't think slowing down the cutscene like that is a bad    Honestly the most fun I've had in a long time with games. It's a bit of a shame how soft companies get just because of trying to appeal to everyone.

    Ni tan mal, el juego esta mas o menos. Claramente no es un goty pero no esta tan mal tampoco.

    Encarnamos a un loco q mata gente sin razon aparente mas que el odio a la humanidad. Graficamente mg bastante, se siente bien su tono monocromatico y sus destellos en rojo en los puntos de interes.     hatred is the best game ever. its a dark and twisted masterpiece that captures the brutality of life. its raw, violent, and filled with angst. you can really let out your anger and aggression as you go around massacring innocent people

    If you ever feel like shooting up a school - don't. Get Hatred and play it instead! It's the ultimate rampage simulator where you can use all kinds of guns on cops and civilians without killing anybody in real life!

    This is easily one of the best isometric shooters ever made, which ironically got the hatred of dumb people that took it too seriously. GTA, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and a lot of other very popular games are murder simulators just like this one but i doubt these smooth brains ever thought of that.

    Cheaper than therapy. 10/10. Jokes aside, I picked this game up off steam for $5 and tbh it's surprisingly polished and a cheap mindless fun timewaster.

    Pues no vale para nada. Me llamó mucho la atención cuando en su día lo anunciaron, por el morbo y el tema insano de masacrar inocentes sin discreción, pero más allá de los primeros minutos y la impresión inicial de encarnar a un psicópata asesino de masas, el juego es insulso y repetitivo.

    Simplemente vas avanzando por diferentes zonas con un objetivo numérico de individuos masacrados.    Pues no vale para nada. Me llamó mucho la atención cuando en su día lo anunciaron, por el morbo y el tema insano de masacrar inocentes sin discreción, pero más allá de los primeros minutos y la impresión inicial de encarnar a un psicópata asesino de masas, el juego es insulso y repetitivo.

    Simplemente vas avanzando por diferentes zonas con un objetivo numérico de individuos masacrados. A medida que vas matando aparecen oleadas de enemigos que son las fuerzas de seguridad, cada vez mejor armados y protegidos para acabar contigo. Lo que lo convierte en un twin stick shooter muy sencillo de masacre por oleadas. En este punto hay que comentar que el juego es solo parcialmente compatible con un game pad, por lo que tendrás que jugarlo con teclado y ratón y es impreciso hasta decir basta, por lo que de twin stick shooter, en realidad, es solo sobre el papel. Como gracia adicional en los diferentes niveles hay objetivos secundarios en los que encontrar nuevas armas, chalecos antibalas o puntos de respawn, que básicamente hacen las veces de vidas. Si terminas las vidas en una zona vuelves a empezar desde el principio con tu objetivo de masacre principal. Sin más, no tiene más.

    Hay gente que le recuerda a Postal. Un juego que en los noventa llamó mucho la atención por partir de una premisa similar a este. Por lo que, en mi opinión pierde el factor de innovación en su concepción argumental, es decir, ni siquiera es original, es una copia de un clásico. Por lo que… a no ser que te llamara la atención por que eres un pifiado de los videojuegos y te diera morbo su premisa y además lo encuentres a precio de derribo…. (yo no pagaría más de 2€ por esto) puedes ahorrártelo, no te va a aportar nada. Al menos nada que no se haya visto ya mejor hecho.    … Expand

    Then there's the story. Edgy isn't quite the right word to describe it. **** moronic is more what I like to say. It wants to appeal to those annoying **** that act as if everyone is a terrible person and we should just commit genocide because isn't that just such a mature, thought provoking, well thought out idea?

    Yeah you can not convince me that the devs of this game have ever had a normal conversation with another person outside of circle jerking with other edgy kids on **** about how much they hate the world.

    So **** gameplay paired with an insufferable, irritating story.

    Imagine you took the first Postal game and removed all the impact, thought, self awareness and substance, and you'd get this game.

    Overall, **** game with nothing of value for anyone who isn't an insufferable **** who hates everything because they think it makes them mature    … Expand

    This is a good game in which you can let off steam and just get mad and kill if you are sick of everything and everything! The only drawback of the game is an inconvenient camera. meow:)

    é um bom shooter, mas nao recomendo pra ninguem, o tema é muito pesado.
    Mantenha esse jogo longe das crianças ou algum doido.

    rather enjoyable and gruesome game. The top down / isometric view can be an acquired taste for some but luckily, there are very nice mods featured on the steam workshop that improve the gameplay and perspective/ visuals.

    I live in Australia and it's unobtainable to get this game legally from steam cause it's banned in Australia. (Not that it's mention on the list of banned games in Australia wiki). I, however. Bought it from D.C's website when it was available for pre-order with a key on release. Moving on.

    What is HATRED?
    Take RWS's 1997 Postal and make it balls up the wall ultra-violent where your goal is to kill everyone in your way (than yourself), with close-up final blows, throat-slitting, and head stomping.

    If you like Postal, you might like this. Altho Postal2 is more of a black comedy, HATRED was made for shock value. And people were shocked.

    I've enjoyed this game. Finally a game, with over-the-top ultra-violence that no one asked for but needed.
    But it does sometimes get a little boring. And this is coming from a guy who has 500+ hours in Postal 2. What can I say? I like the mods people make.

    HATRED also has some mods. Some are great. Like 1.666.

    I play hatred now every once in a while. The last recorded time I played it was Oct 2020 so it was pretty recent.

    Do I recommend HATRED?
    Yes.

    Do I recommend paying full price?

    I have no problem with a game like this, that is not the reason I am giving this a negative review.

    If you look at it, Hatred was pretty much a publicity stunt for a new studio to get controversy to get money, and... it worked. People hopped on this game to defend its content matter, when really neither the content matter or gameplay is even that good.     Many issues like low framerate, graphical glitches, execution glitches, terrible camera position, bad voice acting from the main character, and stupid AI hold it back from being really good.

    I get that they were going for a Postal style game here, with the camera locked in a overhead view. However, Postal did it because of how it was designed. This game could have easily been modified to be played in 3rd person. The main character sounds like someone trying to force themselves to act 'edgy', and 'threaten'. Why the AI runs back into the same house their buddy was just shot it destroys the whole point of people 'scared for their life.'

    Somethings are done right, like the environmental destruction, voicing acting of the civilians and executions, to a certain extend.

    One thing that was also blown way out of portion was the executions. They are supposed to be this gnarly showcase of dying in the worse possible way, but I've seen better, and even more gruesome executions in games like Manhunt 2, and The Punisher.

    Hatred can be enjoyable, but I find that the game is more of a publicity stunt, then an actual game.    … Expand

    The most terrific game, that I have ever seen. Stupid AI, bad animations, terrible optimization, color gamma is awful, and the absence of storyline at all. The gameplay is so boring that the only thing that you want - to end this game as fast as you can. The main character has no motivation and he kills people just because he is evil.
    It is one of the worst games that I have ever played.

You go around killing - it's a twin-stick shooter, so what did you expect?     The gameplay is simplistic but difficult: you run amuck and kill EVERYBODY. Yes, it's an amuck simulator if you will: amoral, violent and nihilistic. You go around killing - it's a twin-stick shooter, so what did you expect? HATRED is a very difficult game: you are constantly swarmed by enemies (cops shoot back, it takes place is the US and not the UK), most of which can shoot you before they come into view with dead eye precision. The only way to regain health is by performing an execution - but they trigger randomly and you have no influence on it.
    The gaming press ran the game down because it's politically incorrect (although in 2020 U.S. now that might change) and all victims are innocent. Unfortunately the press is incapable of disregarding politics (which is why THE LAST OF US II got all 100%s and 10 out of 10s and this has a 43 Metacritic score). HATRED is challenging and it is fun. Is it the greatest game ever made? Far from it. But for a twin-stick shooter - what can you expect? I love the art style in particular, far away from the bright neon colored comic book graphics as in DIABLO 3.

    In all honesty 90% of this game's fame is based purely on its famous controversy. Without this coating - its just a generic shooter. Grab it if discounted to check 'what's all about'. Otherwise - don't bother.
