    Я считаю, ради этой игры даже VR купить не жалко, разве потом наскучит, но после того, как стартанула Alyx, пойдут нормальные AAA-проекты на VR, правда, это уже вопрос времени...

    I never been so immersed in any game before. I literally took my hands up to protect myself when he hit me with he's stun gun (11/10) game!!

    It's a beautiful game. I've finished it in about 19 hours and want more. :) Also I'd like next games in half-life universe to support VR. Thanks, Valve! :)

    There's nothing I can say which hasn't already been said. I've had my Vive since it first launched, and I've played a lot of VR games in that time. This game makes everything else I've played (with the exception of BeatSaber) seem obsolete by comparison. It is simply the best VR game ever made, and one of the best video games I've ever experienced. The gameplay is intuitive and immersive,There's nothing I can say which hasn't already been said. I've had my Vive since it first launched, and I've played a lot of VR games in that time. This game makes everything else I've played (with the exception of BeatSaber) seem obsolete by comparison. It is simply the best VR game ever made, and one of the best video games I've ever experienced. The gameplay is intuitive and immersive, I never had any issues moving around or grabbing objects. The combat is exhilarating and terrifying, I've never been more scared by a game. The graphics, even on my low settings, are the best of any VR title. In these regards and many others, no other game even comes close. This is the killer app for VR and it is an absolute necessity for anyone with a headset.… Expand

    The game managed to recreate half life 2 atmosphere and feel. The level of polish put in this game is impressive. It's the first AAA vr game to date. The graphics are great. The shooting is great. The physics are great and the level of interaction is very impressive. And of course the puzzles are fun.

    Do not listen to the troll reviews! Valve has worked hard on this game and made it compatible for even the most affordable HMDs. There are more ways to move, such as smooth locomotion instead of teleportation. Ladder movement has been fixed! The level design, sound design, graphics and puzzles are phenomenal.

    Right as you get into the game at first, it feels great, even the start screen is impressive. The first scene of the games lets you familiarize with the controls, and more importantly, let's you have fun with the physics of the object around you, you can grab the stuff around you, change the station on the radio, etc. This is a very good way to teach the    This game is simply fantastic.

The first scene of the games lets you familiarize with the controls, and more importantly, let's you have fun with the physics of the object around you, you can grab the stuff around you, change the station on the radio, etc. This is a very good way to teach the game in a very natural way, and it gives such a big WOW factor too when you realize how great the controls and physics are (well at least with the index controllers).

    The physics are so great, seriously, of all the games I've tried so far, this is the only one I've felt that throwing stuff felt natural, and the stuff actually went the way it was supposed to, with the strength I wanted it to. This is especially important when you use grenades.

    The difficulty cure is perfect, when you start the game, you get only one very slow enemy at the time, eventually the get faster, smarter, and more of them come at once. the combats at the end are super challenging and fast paced.

    The story is great. loving to learn more lore about the Half-Life universe.

    The ending is incredible gave me goosebumps. Overall the game is probably even better than HL2, and it being VR and making you be able to live it, places it even higher.    … Expand

    This is what VR was meant to be. Once again Valve shows how it's done. I havent been this exited about playing a game since forever. Only bad thing is that all other VR games i used to enjoy now feels like garbage..

    This game is truly the best one I ever played, valve have set another bar for the vr industries don't listen to people who are angry because they don't want to buy a vr headset because it's too expensive, they're blind trust me in less than a year these people are gonna just realize that cheap vr headset exist and they gonna pick those cheap headset because YOU DON'T NEED AN 1000$ INDEX toThis game is truly the best one I ever played, valve have set another bar for the vr industries don't listen to people who are angry because they don't want to buy a vr headset because it's too expensive, they're blind trust me in less than a year these people are gonna just realize that cheap vr headset exist and they gonna pick those cheap headset because YOU DON'T NEED AN 1000$ INDEX to play HL:A as you don't need a 1000 PC to play GTA V, doom Eternal, borderlands 3, etc... I've played half life Alyx on my original Oculus rift, that is a 4 year old headset and it's as good as the 1000 dollars index maybe you have less fov or less fps but at least i can play this game and trust me this game is worth your time !… Expand

    Great game with a great story. You can play it with any VR headset, the Valve headset is not required. I always loved Alyx as a character but now she got even better with funny and dialog. The new character Russel is a great addition to Half life and the Gordon team and i hope that he will be there for the next Half life.

    I've been playing for more than 25 years and this is the first time I bother writing a review. This game is AMAZING and EVERYONE needs to play this. I know that a VR setup and the headset is expensive but I really think it worth it. My only complaint is, I feel like there should be more enemies in the game, especially combine soldiers. In most VR titles, since the screen is rendered twice (once for each eye)    I've been gaming for about 30 years, and this is one of the most incredible, if not the most incredible, gaming experiences in my lifetime. Valve shows us what smart and creative people can do in Virtual Reality. 13 years has been a long wait, but WOW did Valve deliver!

    The levels and artwork are gorgeous. In most VR titles, since the screen is rendered twice (once for each eye) you have to choose between fidelity and framerate. On my Ryzen 5 2600 + 1080Ti, I run in High fidelity at regular 120fps on a Valve Index. Often times VR games look simpler due to having to use a faster-for-VR rendering pipeline, but Alyx looks as good as any flat-screen AAA title. The game is highly-optimized, and sets a new bar for VR looks and performance.

    Another common issue in VR titles is that because you are so immersed i your world, you can feel quite alone. In Alyx, you have a constant virtual companion to keep you company, company that is extremely welcome given the parts of the game where the hair on the back of your neck will be standing up. Yes, this game has the horror aspects of Half-life 2, but amplified. Basically, it feels like Half-life 2, but you are IN the game, as opposed to behind the a screen.

    Some cutting-edge VR titles feature movement types and mechanics that leave players feeling a bit off.. Boneworks, for example, allows for some very interesting and fun physics interactions with the environment, but at the expense of the player at times feeling sick. You can tell Alyx was designed to make VR as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be for everyone. Some have criticized Valve's use of teleport ladders, for example, due to their use being "immersion-breaking", but nothing is more immersion-breaking, and fun-destroying, than the brain fatigue or nausea you get from your body's actual movements not matching the movements of the screen. Even as a seasoned VR gamer, I also experience fatigue from smooth locomotion or having the player controller pushed around by in-game objects. We can play the game for hours without issues.

    The sound and music, as expected, are to die for. This game is classic Half-life. The level of immersion you feel when you hear a large mechanical object suddenly land near you is simply indescribable unless you've tried VR, something you have to experience to appreciate. There are quite a few scenes and moments in this game where I experienced butterflies from the experience, or goosebumps from fear.

    While this is yet another Half-life game, and there are some old elements coming back again, it felt very fresh. Half-life 2 brought zombie elements into an alien world, and that is still there in Alyx, but you will be treated to some new and very interesting enemies that are mind-blowingly cool. The old headcrabs are back, but they feel so much more menacing,and real, in this game.

    I had very high expectations for the next Half-life title, after so long and from a company with a reputation like Valve, and all I can say is Valve did it. This game is absolutely amazing.    … Expand

    Just love it. Gameplay is fun and scavenging around the levels is really enjoyable. Could have more sceneries.

    Valve did a new revolution ı think. They did two revolution in 1998 and 2004 and now they did another. VR can be the future for gamers. I was not thinking that before playing half life alyx but everything has changed after this game. This is amazing. I cant tell it with words. İt is perfect .

    Half-Life Alyx is proof that Valve is still at its best creatively. This emblematic franchise has been brought to virtual reality; in Alyx we enjoy an immersion never seen before, with comfortable and intuitive mechanics as well as excellent visuals and atmosphere that accompany this interesting adventure within the iconic saga.

    A special mention should be made of the game's dialog, mainly consisting of Alyx herself and Russel, a scientist who Alex remains in constant communication with throughout the game. Their relationship feels genuine, the conversations between them are enjoyable, and almost all of the intended comedic moments land perfectly, which is something most video games seem to have trouble with.
