    Best VR game I ever played. Graphics level is astonishing: textures, effects, light. Interaction level with objects is very high. Extremely happy to see a game in half-life universe, waited for 12 years.

    An exciting story. Horrors-like levels are thrill. Ending is a heal patch to all HL fans. Things to improve: -Holographic sight on weapons is hard to use for aiming. -Run mode    Best VR game I ever played. Graphics level is astonishing: textures, effects, light.     -Need more complex physics puzzles.
    -Something for melee combat, maybe optional, but it should be. And ability to grab human-enemies for the hands or head, beat them or push back.    … Expand

    I bought a gaming PC and VR headset just to be able to play this game and I'm not disappointed

    When I started playing this game I thought I was about to play one of the best VR games ever made.

    После 3 часов игры. (моя первая VR игра) Играю на Index. Пытался играть в разные другие. Не заходит, до тошнит. Теперь об Алексе. Не прекращающийся Вау! Моментов очень много. И понятно нужно находиться "внутри". Снаружи (в тубе) смоотреть как Тренога перешагивает через дома, ну так себе.... Внутри обалдеть. Или попытаться погладить деда по голове. ( а вот минус. Если поставить перед нимПосле 3 часов игры. (моя первая VR игра) Играю на Index. Пытался играть в разные другие. Не заходит, до тошнит. Теперь об Алексе. Не прекращающийся Вау! Моментов очень много.     This is peak VR, the audio, visuals, animations, atmosphere, and interactivity is all incredible. I can't wait to see more games like this in the future. I'm surprised how well it looks and runs on a GTX 2060, one of the best looking games I've played and it's in VR which is quite the accomplishment.

    I cry cause this game was sooo impressive. When I was kid i use to dream about something like that, and now it cames true. You MUST play it. VR is on, and it will change every thing.

    Best Shooter, best VR Game, best Half Life Game! Terrific atmosphere, great mechanics, great graphics and music. Easily a 10/10.

    일반적인 게임으로 본다면 약간 식상한 작품일수도 있지만 VR로 본다면 보석중의 보석임을. 이 작품의 출현으로 우린 이제 VR로는 이런것도 할 수 있다라고 자랑할 수 있게됬다.

    Valve have a lot of experience in leading VR experiences - look at The Lab and the entire SteamVR home system for a start. I had no doubt they were crafting something truly special and user- tested for this new Half Life game and I was not disappointed. Half Life Alyx is a fantastic example of a focused and ambitious VR title which stands alone as a perfect PC game let alone just a VRValve have a lot of experience in leading VR experiences - look at The Lab and the entire SteamVR home system for a start. I had no doubt they were crafting something truly special and user- tested for this new Half Life game and I was not disappointed. Half Life Alyx is a fantastic example of a focused and ambitious VR title which stands alone as a perfect PC game let alone just a VR game.

    The story hits right in the nostalgia feels of returning to the settings of Half Life 2, albeit prior to the events of Half Life 2. Some enemies are familiar, some are new, but all take advantage of the new gameplay mechanisms and immersion offered by VR.

    I don't want to give away too much in this review but Alyx is a long single player VR title which is well worth picking up any headset you can get your hands on - even if it's Windows Mixed Reality (or better) an Oculus Quest with a Link cable.    … Expand

    Absolutely incredible game, would highly recommend it. Half Life Alyx PROVES VR is NOT a gimmick, it is a full on GAME and it is simply AMAZING. If you don't have VR and you have the money for it get it, it is worth it for the experience. Most of the bad reviews are people that are mad that they don't have VR so don't mind them they are just trying to ruin the score/rating. This isAbsolutely incredible game, would highly recommend it.     I've been playing video games since the Atari and NES, and have had some excellent gaming experiences, but this game is fantastic! I played this game using an HP Reverb G2. My system is an i7-10700k OC, 32gb Ram, NVME SSD, and RTX 3090. Getting the game to run 90hz at full settings and full resolution on the G2 was a challenge    Valve has taken things to the next level with this game.

    I really enjoyed all of the ways the game immerses you into the half-life world. I felt like I was have a brand new gaming experience multiple times during my playthrough. I was very sad when the game ended, but I am hoping that they make a VR sequel. Valve has definitely set the bar for what VR can achieve, I just hope other companies can create similar experiences, so far nothing comes close.

    It may be a bit expensive to get the full experience in this game, but if you can afford it, you owe it to yourself to get the setup just for this game.    … Expand

    Absolutely Fantastic.
    A few hiccups here and there but it really is the best VR game out there. Can't wait for mods and workshop content !

    Half-Life Alyx is proof that Valve is still at its best creatively. This emblematic franchise has been brought to virtual reality; in Alyx we enjoy an immersion never seen before, with comfortable and intuitive mechanics as well as excellent visuals and atmosphere that accompany this interesting adventure within the iconic saga.

    A special mention should be made of the game's dialog, mainly consisting of Alyx herself and Russel, a scientist who Alex remains in constant communication with throughout the game. Their relationship feels genuine, the conversations between them are enjoyable, and almost all of the intended comedic moments land perfectly, which is something most video games seem to have trouble with.
