    An absolutely masterful work of art. This game feels like a game from the future, and it sets the standard for what video games should be moving forward -- VR or not. I cannot recommend this game enough. 10/10, masterpiece.

    Finally I had the opportunity to play with it.
    This is one of the best game, I have ever played. When you start the game you will touch everything, this is already insane, after that you start play, and you don't want to play with anything else. :D

    El juego es simplemente absorbente, no hay palabras. Es altamente inmersivo, los escenarios son increíbles, los puzles interesantes, la ambientación del universo Half Life espectacular...
    Lo único que se echa en falta es la posibilidad de poder correr...
    Y el único defecto del juego, que se acabe. Me ha costado 18 horas, porque juego sin prisas, explorando todo bien, buscando recursos    El juego es simplemente absorbente, no hay palabras.     Not just the best VR game on the market, but one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. It's difficult to live up to the hype after HL2 and its episodes, but Valve has managed to meet expectations.

    I had to come here and talk about the most insane battle I had with the combine.

    I was dipping, diving, sliding peaking up behind cover pop pop popping heads before crouch running to new cover to reload like I’m freaking James bond after a line of crack. This is one of the most intense, exhilarating, heart racing, immersive thing I have ever played and I'm living for every second it.    I had to come here and talk about the most insane battle I had with the combine.

    This is one of the most intense, exhilarating, heart racing, immersive thing I have ever played and I'm living for every second it. This game is a new standard and it may become one of my fav games of all time.

    I am also pretty new to VR so can get motion sick sometimes on continuous motion games however I don't get one bit of motion sickness running around in this game. Continuous motion is a must to play this.

    Ps can wear hard hats and cones on your head to stop barnacles eating you 10/10    … Expand

    When Valve released Half life 2 they forced player
    Using steam or when Half life 1 released, PC gaming was not a thing. So lets hope in future VR will be cheaper for everyone.

    The equipment needed is expensive, but I assure you. it is so worth it. Half-Life: Alyx is exactly what I wanted from Valve, but definitely not what I expected. Depending on which motion style you choose, your game will vary in fun. DO NOT CHOOSE THE SHIFT MOVEMENT AT ALL COSTS. The graphics are phenomenal, and Valve has really outdone themselves this time.

    One of the best games, not just in VR, but of all platforms! This was one of the first VR games that made me forget I was just standing in a empty corner of my bedroom with a box strapped to my head! Absolutely amazing writing and gameplay that you just can't get with a keyboard and mouse or a controller!

    I love this game! It has a amazing combat system which is both fun and strategic. Plus the upgrades effect all of the combat from having sights to a grenade launcher.

    I have sunk hours into this game because you're always having such amazing time playing this game.

    that's nice! I like Half-Life Alyx, he is a real VR 3A game. Has a first-class graphics and interactive gaming experience. On the VR platform, the game atmosphere has been qualitatively improved.

    One of the BEST VR games and best AAA video games released in these past years, I've played almost every single triple AAA game release from the past decade or so and this is one of the few that made me want to replay it right after finishing the game. One of the best looking and most interactive VR titles, a definite MUST PLAY for all vr owners and half life fans.

    Awesome game. Not just awesome VR game, but also a great game in general. They really got that sweet spot between too scary and not enough scary, and the experience is amazing overall. I'm happy I bought an Oculus Rift S a few months ago, as they seem out of stock everywhere now, in part because of this game.

    Finally a game that`s worth playing on VR, I`ve been waiting for a game like this for years. It doesn`t even compare to all the games out there, so please just try it and you wont be dissapointed.
    It has teleportation for all of you that have motion sickness like me, it makes wonders.

    A Half-Life game that does the name justice. Any negative reviews are from people who haven't played it, as evidenced by the reviews. This game proves that VR is the future for immersive first person games and is hopefully the first in a long list of Valve VR titles!

    It's not half life more than 2 less than 4 but it's nevertheless an half life game and valve still got the old magic. Source 2 looks great. Hope we won't have yo wait 13 years for the next game...

After playing Alyx, and replaying it 2 more times, I can only say that this the most amazing gaming experience I have ever had.     Дядя Габен смог сделать новую по-настоящему прорывную игру, как двадцать лет назад с первыми частями Half-Life. Эта игра на которую в будущем обязана будет равняться VR-индустрия.

    Realmente una obra de arte y una revolución en el mundo del gaming. Desde la primera entrega Half Life siempre fue sinónimo de calidad y esta no es la excepción. Mejor juego del año en mi opinión y la protagonista es una mujer fuerte y admirable sin tener que recurrir al feminismo progre barato de otros juegos como TLOU2.

    Played on the Rift, the game looks unbelievably good. The graphics from that first look out across the city, to the infested tunnels and decrepit hotel, they blew my away.     The game does feel a little disjointed when going into the zoo section, it feels like it moves from a more creepy stealth game to a shooter, but was still great fun. The weapons feel amazing, especially the shotgun.
    It was everything that I ever hoped a VR game could be and I have now played through 3 times, and not been bored for 1 second.
    Thank you Valve, as a Half Life fan, and a VR user, this was everything I dreamed of when I bought the Rift. I hope more developers can reach these dizzying heights.    … Expand

Este es el mejor juego de realidad virtual hasta la fecha, y una necesidad de comprar para cualquier persona que posee el sistema de realidad virtual, incluso si nunca jugó los juegos anteriores. Juego divertido, gráficos increíbles, excelente historia, personajesValve realmente lo quiso decir cuando dijeron que este juego sólo se puede jugar en VR y no como un juego de FPS regular.     Half-Life: Alyx is an incredible demonstration of what can be done with virtual reality. Nobody, so far, has put the amount of resources and research that Valve did. This might not be the killer application VR needs, but it’s an excellent game, worthy of the main series of Half-Life.

    사실상 포탈2, 도타2 이후로 정말 오랜만에 보는 명작입니다.
    만약 밸브 인덱스 혹은 VR를 큰맘먹고 사실 마음이 있으시다면, 밸브 인덱스와 이 게임을 사는것을 추천합니다.
    정말 그럴만한 가치가 있는 작품이니깐요.

    Best VR Game ever. This game competes and embarrasses Non-VR Games too. Great combat with great level design and a nice story. This game is genuinely scary too. Some of the puzzles are complete BS, and sometimes I have no clue where to go, but other than that, it's a fantastic game.

Putting ammunition into your weapons while sprinting behind a wall for cover. You crouch, you turn, you gasp and I was amazed by the high quality textures in VR.

    Source 2 is amazing (I recommend you read about what went into development of the engine and the game. The result speaks for itself). You can tell the engine was built with VR in mind first. Which is why it's the best looking and most complete VR game by a long shot. Sure, UE4 looks great in Asgard’s Wrath and Robo Recall (to name a few), but HL: Alyx just takes everything to another level. Textures look amazing even up close, and it scales beautifully from Lower graphic settings to Ultra. The rest tho is so smooth and on point. The audio, physics, controls, plenty of locomotion and movement options for everyone. Not to mention, story, dialog and pacing. Which is why I would tend to agree with some reviewers that say this may just be the best HL game in the series. Simply put, *everything* is excellent about this game. There’s very little they could have done better, but if I had to pick it would be the weapon management system. There are times where I think it would have been better to use different locations to store your 3 guns and Multi-use tool like Robo Recall and the TWD-Saints & Sinners do by storing them on different locations of your body instead of using the Wheel option, but that’s just me. Other than that, this is a must-own. VR’s true killer app, even if it doesn’t go on to make people rush to buy powerful PCs and VR headsets. This.Is.It.     I've had my Vive since 2017, and every game I pick up has been the same. They all feel like a tech demo, and the devs forgot that the game is meant to actually be played in VR. Half Life: Alyx? Nah. The gravity gloves in this game actually gets rid of all of those problems you would experience in other games, trying to pick something up off a table or the ground, especially since youI've had my Vive since 2017, and every game I pick up has been the same. But, having the gravity gloves to just flick something to your hand is one of the best features I've ever used in any VR game, and even with its flaws, no other game has come close to this. Besides this game actually being a properly, well thought out designed game that was fully intended to be played in VR with as little headaches as possible, that's not the only reason why it's good. The game is a full, real game. The soundtrack was jaw dropping the first time I heard it, I didn't even know Valve was capable of such things. The UI/HUD is really well done in this game as well, ammo and health are really easy to find and keep track of, same goes for any other objects you may want to collect. The story as well, it is written just as good as any other Valve game, so if you loved the other Half Life stories or Portal stories, you'll love this one. So the real question is, is this game really worth spending $400+ on a VR headset, then the extra $60 on top of that? To just buy a headset to only play Half Life: Alyx, no, I'd say you're an idiot who's wasting their money on a single game. But if you're already interested in a VR headset for more than just Half Life: Alyx, then yea, it's worth $460~.… Expand

    Amazing game, definitely worth getting VR for. Plenty of replayability due to fantastic level design and secrets. Community maps and mods is also a huge plus. Great story and moment to moment gameplay. A must for any half life fan or someone interested in VR.

    i love vr games,and this one is the best i have played so far. The graphics is so good. I loved the story,and i loved the puzzles and the combat. And i cant wait to se if we get another half life vr. Awesome game. I have played this game 4 times now and im not getting bored of it. 10 of 10 from me.

    Um dos melhores jogos dessa geração, e o melhor jogo de vr, half life alyx foi por um caminho diferente dos jogos antigos, embora alguns talvez não tenha gostado dele ser vr, o jogo tentou e conseguiu inovar, sair daquele padrão de fps que já está saturado no mercado apostando no vr, o vr vai ser o futuro dos jogos, o trabalho do jogo em vr é incrivel

    it made me spend £919 on a headset, both posters anther £70, and the OST £7. I played it twice. I have all achievements. It's so good it makes all other VR games in the genre boring. It has a lasting impact on me. This is up there with Minecraft. I'm going to say it again, this is up there with the greats. This truly an epic experience.

    I've finished this game four time. And every time i had the same feeling. I've never seen anything like this in my life. There's no turning back from here. This is the NEXT GEN, everyone who played this game knows it. Just unbelivable.

    Best game yet! the same jaw dropping feeling from riding the train for the first time in the original HL.

    but this time you really are inside the Half-life universe! i loved every second of it and replayed it as soon as i finished it!

    only downside is that no other game can compare.

    A special mention should be made of the game's dialog, mainly consisting of Alyx herself and Russel, a scientist who Alex remains in constant communication with throughout the game. Their relationship feels genuine, the conversations between them are enjoyable, and almost all of the intended comedic moments land perfectly, which is something most video games seem to have trouble with.
