SamV.Jun 6, 2008Good game, nice graphics, only... it's a litle bit short for it's price. Perhaps, give less attention to the graphic layout (because it's very good now!) and give more attention to make the game longer. Looking forward for episode 3.

DylanM.May 18, 2008When i seen this game come out i was shocked that it was only a 90 so your saying that hl2 beats this everything is a little better but the only this that i dont like is that it just was not that long too short but i had fun anyway.

JamesS.Apr 3, 2008THE BEST GAME EVER!!!! Seriously, it's kind of short, but the gameplay is excellent, the story is amazing, and the characters are incredibly believable. I know I became more attached to them than I should have, but I felt like crying when Eli was killed, that's how involving this game is.

RobS.Mar 31, 2008Half Life 2 is my favorite game of all time. Episode One was enjoyable, but not on the same scale. Episode Two, however, is pure awesomeness. The story, the characters, the animation, the level theme mix, the music, the controls, everything fits perfectly. It's only a shame it's shorter than HL 2, or it would be a better game.

JustinJ.Mar 10, 2008They improved so much from half life 2 , graphics are awsome.. the only disadvantage is that the start is really slow and long.. and really got bored killing antilions for 2 hours.

KorosuI.Mar 10, 2008It's just the best part of the Half-Life series. Great experience, original gameplay, better dialogs and characters. I loved it all.

KarelP.Mar 6, 2008Has the experience for gamers to play.

AndrewQ.Mar 3, 2008Everything I have come to expect from Valve, repetitive puzzles, similar action sequences throughout, and BY GOD DO I LOVE IT!

-
FlavioM.Mar 2, 2008Marvelous expansion. If Ep1 was 2 times better than HL2, this is surely 3 times better. Tense, dense and brings a full load of emotions and more acknowledge of the characters feelings. 9.5. What holds it back from 10/10 is the old game mechanic.

CallumO.Feb 28, 2008Episode two has the right amount of story telling, puzzle solving, showing off fantastic graphics, and action packed tactical battle scenarios to create the most fun I've had on a single player FPS since the first Half-Life. It also serves as a fantastic way to draw the player into the story, and makes me want Ep3 to come out just so I can get the rest of the trilogy!

PhilipB.Feb 27, 2008Game won't run. Keep getting 'You do not have permissions to run HL2' and can't get it to work at all. All in all the experience has left me annoyed and out of pocket. A complete waste of time and money.

DxFlameFeb 17, 2008This game should be rated 100/100 or even more because i realy love the game features such as,
new Car (in ep3 i would like the car fully upgraded), and more to the episode, also the game needs levels released everyday by Valve each day telling a day of hl2 if u know what i mean xD
Thank You!

JamesL.Feb 13, 2008This game deserves a high rating for one simple fact: Innovation There isn't a single new FPS out there, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. aside, that doesn't just follow a standard. Half-Life 2: Episode 2 not only breaks away from other FPS games, but even breaks away from the previous episodes, adding much more interactivity.

Awards & Rankings
-
Any way you look at it, Episode Two stands out, even among the Half-Life series, as something special. It may be shorter than the original, but it's a burly experience packed into roughly six hours or so that offers up all the diversity, level design, and thoughtful gameplay we've known while making sure to propel the story forward and leave us wanting more.
-
More great story blended with improved AI and better firefights. It's starting to retread old ground though.
-
Episode Two is the most sumptuous chapter of the Half-Life saga, and by a country mile. It's as if Valve's tech and art teams are trying to outdo each other: the Source engine has had a striking technical overhaul that renders textures, materials and curves uncannily well, and the artists clearly relish having a fresh palette to work with.
