Great artwork, but terrible, terrible, controls. The first episode's controls were bad, this made them worse. The game tries to be a modern Metal Slug, but it lacks the core simplicity.

Beautiful looking game but, unfortunately, as someone mentioned, virtually unplayable due to the god-awful controls. There's like trillion inputs, both keyboard and mouse, for what is supposed to be a plain straightforward run-and-gun. The game won't recognize my joystick and it wouldn't do me any good if it did since I "only" have 10 buttons at my disposal and the app requires, like, 30.Beautiful looking game but, unfortunately, as someone mentioned, virtually unplayable due to the god-awful controls. The game won't recognize my joystick and it wouldn't do me any good if it did since I "only" have 10 buttons at my disposal and the app requires, like, 30. Devs should have stuck with the good old formula "the less is more". Instead, we got a game where one must use mouse cursor just to make the character face the other way (?!?!). Long story short, control inputs have ruined what might have been a great game. Since it can't even be played properly, the score of zero would be more appropriate but I'll reward it with one solely on account of nice art-style and the fact I loved the first game. Expand

Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 does absolutely nothing to evolve the genre, but it’s OK. Not every game needs to be innovative, and this Belgian run’n’gun excels at squeezing every drop of fun out of every minute of gameplay using simple means and it looks amazing while doing it. [05/2018, p.54]

Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2 is a perfect run & gun game for reliving memories and relaxation. The game is filled with fantastic levels, enemies and great "tongue in cheek humor“.

Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 is excellent. The classic side-scrolling shooting benefits greatly from the 360-degree aiming, giving you few to no limits in dealing carnage. The presentation is still solid, and the improved co-op mechanics make this a perfect game to play with friends. Shooting fans will have a blast with this one.
