Many puzzle games fall short when it comes to variation, but Gunpowder blows the competition away. This highly entertaining puzzle game is a bit short, but thanks to the variation and fun levels it will make you quit after the credits, instead of before.

Gunpowder's puzzles are a blast, and the game is hampered only by a lifespan as short as a spark-adjacent powder keg.

In Gunpowder’s case, it’s a matter of quality over quantity, with more quantity on the way via updates and DLC. If you’re looking for a quick and simple puzzle game to play on your laptop during breaks in class, or simply want a relaxing way to unwind at the end of the day, this is a decent buy.

Despite its flaws, Gunpowder hits the most important notes for a simple puzzle game. It is a fairly easy game to recommend, although at $10, the PC version is hard to recommend over the iOS version, which is only $3.

Challenging but never unfair, with a leaderboard that makes it even more addicting and plenty of imaginative levels...liking it alot so far.
Best enjoyed in short gaming sessions.

The game is also available on Windows Store and for the Ipads and seems perfect to play on a couch with a tablet, so think about purchasing it on these devices.
