CD-ActionApr 30, 2015Gravity Ghost is definitely worth investing three hours it asks for. I guarantee it will move you. [05/2015, p.71]

Mar 11, 2015In short bursts, or for younger gamers, Gravity Ghost is worth a look, but considering the style and polish applied to such a basic central concept, I’m far more excited to play Ivy Games next game rather than this one.
-
Feb 23, 2015With Gravity Ghost, the independent developer Ivy Games carries us to a metaphysical world beyond death, without being able to fully capture Newtonian physics’ potential.
-
Feb 18, 2015Gravity Ghost creates a nice world in space where the swinging between planets is an interesting and relaxing activity. Even if you don't find this enough, the great music and the well narrated story is a reason to give the game a chance.
-
Feb 10, 2015While it’s still relatively short — experienced gamers could likely speed through in one or two hours — there’s still enough to recommend.
-
Feb 10, 2015Expressed as a product, Gravity Ghost is an inventive platformer with a precarious and affecting narrative.
-
Feb 9, 2015Gravity Ghost is a nice surprise. It isn't violent, has a good story and is original, something you rarely find these days.
-
Feb 6, 2015Play Gravity Ghost if you’re looking for a weird, endearing experience that you can lose yourself in for a few hours. Pass on it if you’re looking for something more.
-
Feb 6, 2015It's an interesting experiment, and has its own way of connecting with the player, and creating emotions.
-
Feb 5, 2015Clever and consistently inventive platformer, with a disarmingly powerful storyline… plus some of the strangest visuals this side of Katamari Damacy.
-
Feb 5, 2015It does a great job of creating compelling mechanics, so it’s slightly disappointing the bigger design where everything comes together to make really interesting or challenging gameplay fails to materialise. But it absolutely succeeds in creating a tranquil world of weirdness.
-
Feb 3, 2015Just when Gravity Ghost is hitting its stride, it comes to a quick close. The puzzles are never too challenging, but if you can relax and go with the flow, the simple platforming sequences have an almost zen-like tranquility.
-
Feb 3, 2015Gravity Ghost hits the notes of big-budget platformers on a smaller scale; its story fumbles along the way, but it's short and sweet.
-
Feb 2, 2015Without that humor, the story would have no buoyancy. It would sink beneath its heaviness.
-
Jan 28, 2015It's hard to convey the toughest moments, those moments that we compartmentalize and repress beyond recognition as adults. And it's especially hard to convey such moments in language and images that both children and adults can appreciate and understand. That Gravity Ghost accomplishes this feat with such seeming ease is a testament to its imagination and its power.
-
Jan 25, 2015Gravity Ghost is pretty great. The gameplay exists in an odd space where it would require appreciable skill in order to play it well, but does not feature any sort of punishment for playing poorly. Though it only rarely can be described as difficult, it can still be satisfying.
