    I like many things about this game. The trademark GTA free-roam/sandbox element, the Scarface-style Miami setting, hiding out on the 2nd floor balcony of someone's house staking out and trying to get 6 stars then finally stealing a tank but getting immediately caught because it's far too slow and then shouting profanity after all your hard work goes to waste. But all that stuff I like many things about this game. The trademark GTA free-roam/sandbox element, the Scarface-style Miami setting, hiding out on the 2nd floor balcony of someone's house staking out and trying to get 6 stars then finally stealing a tank but getting immediately caught because it's far too slow and then shouting profanity after all your hard work goes to waste.     This game is better than the original. The game runs faster at the same resolution than the previous game...amazing considering how much better the graphics are in VC. You have to get this game--it's a must have!

    This game is better then Grand Theft Auto 3 and that in this game the cars and trucks look much more better then before and theft the FBI really use different cars. THIS GAME IS THE BEST IT ALSO A MUST BUY GAME.

    10? Try 11. This game somehow manages to be even better than GTA III. The world is even more chaotic and allows even more freedom. The story and characters are given some color this time around. The combat system gets a much-needed kick in the pants, which is good because you'll spend much more time shooting and much less time driving in this game than in GTA III. The combat system 10?     Truly one of the greats. Fire it up for a speed run and marvel at the congruity of the story and the variety of the missions. Worth getting back into it for joey's nos mod alone. Not as big as San An, but a more concise and directed experience, and probably more intriging.

    This is my very first GTA, so admittedly I hold it in particularly high regard since it was what initially drew me into the series. At first I thought the game was going to be hopelessly stupid, but there is honestly a lot of hilarious and thoughtful satire/comedy in the game that proved my initial assumptions dead wrong. Vice City had some features that were highly lacking in other GTAsThis is my very first GTA, so admittedly I hold it in particularly high regard since it was what initially drew me into the series. At first I thought the game was going to be hopelessly stupid, but there is honestly a lot of hilarious and thoughtful satire/comedy in the game that proved my initial assumptions dead wrong. Vice City had some features that were highly lacking in other GTAs to come, like the ability to buy businesses and strip-clubs, and other types of properties such as garages for stolen vehicles, among other things. The game's story and characters weren't especially memorable, and definitely weren't as good as what you'll find in newer GTAs, but they were definitely acceptable quality.

    A more relevant attraction to Vice City, for me though, was the terrific variety of radio stations in the game, and the hilarious nature of the game's social commentary. Rockstar did a terrific job of making the game entertaining to both thoughtful individuals, as well as people who just want some short-term fun going nuts and blowing things up, and the diversity and size of the audience they have attracted to the Grand Theft Auto series is a testament to that fact.

    I highly recommend this game! Granted, the graphics are dated, but if you can look past the graphical flaws, you'll find a gem here. If you can't look past the graphics, give some of the newer GTA games a try. They're all wonderfully enjoyable.    … Expand

    Another gaming classic from Rockstar. Nothing particularly revolutionary, but in every respect it is fun and engaging. It's better than GTA 3 in every way, and a really special experince. There are numerous Scarface references and easter eggs- from the opening credits to the characters, some buildings and the story.     This game brings back memories - it is essentially the enhanced port of GTA III into the modern era, paving way for the highly acclaimed GTA IV. Must play for any GTA fan with tons of fun.

    10/10, La historia de este juego es muy buena, al final de cada misión, no podes aguantar la intriga de saber que va a pasar después en la historia, uno de los pocos juego que se ambienta en los '80 que realmente te hace sentir en los '80, la música de la radio es perfecta, el voice acting, lo sonidos, el humor, todo es perfecto para mi en este juego.

It fits, that many elements are political incorrect and are funny. I appreciate, that the game duration is perfect: not too long, not too short. Graphics... there are mods outside, you them and Vicy CityThis game is classic. We know all the gameplay that makes already a lot of fun.     Grand theft auto vice city is the second best grand theft auto but it has a strong story and really good graphics for how old it is. I would recommend this game to any one who like grand theft. auto and anyone who likes violence.

    I first played this game in 2006 and it got me addicted. I finished the whole game with and without cheats. This game never gets old. I love its every successor. I am really waiting for GTA 6

    This must be my second favorite game of all time. I still remember my amazement after seeing this jewel at my friend's house for the first time. Great graphics, great gameplay, great story, but most of all, amazing soundtrack and 80's atmosphere. Yes, the atmosphere in this game is truly something else, I could cruise around the city for hours in my sports car listening to the radio notThis must be my second favorite game of all time. I still remember my amazement after seeing this jewel at my friend's house for the first time. Great graphics, great gameplay, great story, but most of all, amazing soundtrack and 80's atmosphere. Yes, the atmosphere in this game is truly something else, I could cruise around the city for hours in my sports car listening to the radio not caring about anything and not get bored.     This is my favourite GTA game. The feel of the game and the great music/soundtrack makes for a great experience. The soundtrack in this game is great, and one of the best I've seen (or heard) in a game. However, the pc controls do take a little bit of time to get used to, but the PC port is infinitely better due to the ability to easily mod the game by creating your own character skins.

    As a "Rockstar Fanboy" who has inhaled every GTA title since my first Multiplayer experience in 1998 i have to say that no GTA title has never gripped me like Vice City. The whole setting, including environment, music, story and (for this time) awesome graphics made a really "complete" game.
    Since then, IMAO Rockstar tries to recreate this feeling for their players but, i regret to say    As a "Rockstar Fanboy" who has inhaled every GTA title since my first Multiplayer experience in 1998 i have to say that no GTA title has never gripped me like Vice City.     I remember playing this game when I was like 5 years old.. LOL. Fun. Probably the best GTA game in my opinion. Tommy killed it. Don't know why they didn't bring him back. The graphics are great, and the story.. just incredible.

I even remember the whole soundtrack and 10 years later, every time I hear Broken Wings, I Ran, I just Died In Your Arms Tonight, Waiting for a Girl like You, Dance Hall Days,Easily one of the greatest games of all time in the grand scope of things. Ive been playing games for a long time and I cant remember another game other than San Andreas that blew my mind the way Vice City did. I even remember the whole soundtrack and 10 years later, every time I hear Broken Wings, I Ran, I just Died In Your Arms Tonight, Waiting for a Girl like You, Dance Hall Days, Africa, or Owner of a Lonely Heart, I immediately get a craving to play Vice City. The new vehicles, like the helicopters? The amazing soundtrack? The jaw dropping graphics (for 2003, of course)? The whole 80's atmosphere? The city itself?     This is like a nostalgic review from me. I liked the story and the missions. The music, cars and the claw hands. This is my favourite GTA entry of all time. before i even get to touch GTA V. for now. I'm waiting for you GTA V next year!

    One of my absolute favorite parts of GTA.
    I loved this game, it was fantastic. In addition, the soundtrack was perfect.
    Before GTA 5 came out, Vice City was my favorite part.

    Despite all this, I recommend everyone to play Vice City.

    This is, in my humble opinion, the best Grand Theft Auto game in the series as well as one of the greatest sandbox games ever made. It improved on its predecessor, GTA III, in almost every regard. Considering GTA III was ahead of its time, this is an impressive feat. The PC version is by far the best, as expected.

    Gta vice city, was one of the best rockstar games and back to the 80s games i've ever played. It is action-packed and it is filled with blood and is sexy at the same time but it is still a great game any in anyway. Rockstar minigame was amazing and I think a lot of people like in 2003 or 2004. If I were to say out of 10 I would say 10 because it was a great campaign game with a great campaign

    GTA Vice City is a gaming masterpiece with pretty advanced graphics for 2002/2003 that tries to make an 80's Miami feel to it. I DEFINITELY Recommend you get this game.

    Grand Theft Auto Vicecity is a classical example how a great open world third person shooter should be. The game is simply a masterpiece and got everything correct, from its soundtrack to story telling and a great gameplay for 2002 standards.

    Nothing beats driving around Vice City listening to great music. I didn't play Vice City, I lived it. Can't really tell how many hours or how many times I've played it over the last 15 years.

    It was all put together so well its just perfect !

Это загрузка оставила такой след в сердцах почитателей, яДа это чувство черт возьми. Ты заходишь и все чувствуешь нутром, каждую крупинку этого шедевра. Начинаются вступительные титры и ты чувствуешь, хотя их чаще пропускали. Появляется логотип наших любимых и всем известных Rockstar Games, мастеров своего дела. И вот ты уже в главном меню, выбираешь новую игру и начинается загрузка... Это загрузка оставила такой след в сердцах почитателей, я хочу заострить внимания именно на почитателях Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, а ни вообще Grand Theft Auto. Ведь эти люди и теперь могут зайти в этот шедевр и пройти его от начала и до конца. После чего в конце всплакнуть и сказать, что: «Я видел нечто прекрасное, то что западает в душу на долго и уже никогда от туда не выйдет». Я из таких ребят и по-настоящему горжусь этим. Не в плане хвастовство и олдскульщины, а в плане почитания и уважения к хорошей игре. Ведь ее действительно можно любить искренне, и без капли сомнения.

    Понятно что люди, которые играли в нее еще в те времена, приходили в восторг ещё больше. Для них это было неким совершенством, которое не хочется покидать. Когда ты заходишь сейчас, может иногда ты можешь подумать о плохой графике и о чем не будь ещё старом. Но как только начинаешь играть, тебя в сразу с ног сбивает запах атмосферы и ностальгии. Эти чувства абсолютно неподкупны. Я ни в какой игре не испытываю такой ностальгии, как в Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Rockstar покорили мое сердце тогда, и продолжают покорять сейчас, спустя столько лет. Объективному и строгому геймеру трудно что-то подсунуть, хоть тогда на этот счет вообще не задумывались. Поэтому нюх на хорошую игру сработал в то время как надо, но самое интересное, что и продолжает срабатывать.

    Майами 80-х просто шикарное время для преступной истории. Это неотъемлемая часть той эпохи, которая показала себя не с лучшей стороны, со стороны наркотиков. Кокаин был везде, а там где его не было он тут же появлялся. И кто смотрел фильм "Лицо со шрамом", знает что в игре было не только много отсылок. По сути весь путь главного героя, был построен на пути главного героя фильма. Я ни в коем случаи не хочу сказать, что это какой-то там плагиат. Это вдохновение разработчик, их узренние прекрасного и сотворение идеального. Они воспользовались лучшим, чтобы сделать еще лучше. Когда ты играешь и замечаешь эти намеки, ты неимоверно радуешься. Мысли не приходят, чтобы выдвигать какие-то обвинения. Это замечательно проделанная работа, которая ни осталось не замеченная, истинными и преданными фанатами. Да, в этом плане фанаты шарят чуть больше. Но ведь есть люди, которые посмотрели фильм после прохождения, и они тоже осознали и узрели прекрасное, по сути в двойне.    … Expand

    Incredibly cool game of its time. In addition to the main plot and many small side-quests, it was possible to play it literally forever by inventing activities for yourself on the open spaces of the great gaming city. It was big, beautiful and atmospheric, playing 100% of all its zones.
    A truly open gaming world of the early 2000s.

    Just another masterpiece by Rockstar Games. Every single GTA game has this "MUST-PLAY" certificate here on Metacritic on every single platform like PC, XBOX and PlayStation, coincidence? I don't think so. You have no choice but to buy every single one of them. You must play.

    GTA Vice City is the greatest game, with the greatest setting, with the greatest soundtrack and with the perfect story. It's lightning in a bottle. You're dealing coke, fighting gangs, driving sportscars, wearing the perfect palm shirt, can do whatever the **** you want and you're doing it while 'Africa', 'Dance Hall Days' and 'Owner of a Lonely Heart' is playing on the radio. To me,GTA Vice City is the greatest game, with the greatest setting, with the greatest soundtrack and with the perfect story. It's lightning in a bottle.     O melhor GTA seguido do San Andreas.

    A melhor playlist de rádios, a atmosfera dos anos 80 nesse jogo é surreal, ainda mais para a época que foi lançada lá em 2002, nesse ponto, a Take Two (com Rockstar e 2K) é incrível.

    Espero muito que o GTA VI seja em Vice City com transição dos tempos (anos 80 e tempos atuais) como aponta os rumores.

    One of the first games I ever played.Having first voice protagonist and such a map for 2003 it was really revolutionary at the time.Also storyline was quite good it had few shortcomings but nothing too much.What makes this game great is that it managed to perfectly capture Miami 80-s atmosphere.Inspired by film and TV classics Miami Vice and Scarface.

    When i first played it, i skipped all the cutscenes but still liked it. When i replayed it without skipping the cinematics, i liked it even more. 10 out of 10 for me. Just take it.

    One of the best games made ever in that time. Feeling the vibe alone was wonderful but playing this wonderful game was such an enjoyment. Music, atmosphere and stunning 80s style missions and storyline makes it my all time favorite hands down.

Well, in fact, there is only a small mistake here, both in the previous GTA and we can't go swimming here, which freezes here twice, because those 80's beaches directly force you to swim.     I really liked the game atmosphere.
    There is a lot to invest in the game, but it's hard to earn it. Radio music is the best in the series. The game is pretty easy!
    I recommend it for completion in 2021 and look forward to remasting!

    There is no problem in the game. It's just bad that you can't swim in the game. But since this is a periodic problem, we should not include it in the scoring. The game is excellent.

    Best of all, the numerous bugs and glitches that brought the PS2 version down a notch have been cleaned up and eliminated, for the most part. Enemies no longer shoot you through solid walls, you no longer randomly lose health while running, and cars remain in your garage until you take them out.
