    Set in Miami, this game is inspired by the Scarface movie. That's why I suggest you watch Scarface before starting the game. The finale was made in exactly the same Scarface flavor regardless of the venues. Apart from that, the game is one of the nostalgia series, one of Rockstar's masterpieces.

    There is no problem in the game. It's just bad that you can't swim in the game. But since this is a periodic problem, we should not include it in the scoring. The game is excellent.

    Эта игра одна из первых которая определила для меня жанр игр, которые мне по душе. Игра которая на тот момент совмещала в себе разбой, гонки, сексуальных даже в то время по графике девушек и что за все что ты сделаешь плохого, тебя накажет доблестная полиция. Бесспорно одна из самых важных частей. Ну и не упомянуть миссию с самолетиком, будет просто не правильно, мы ведь все там горели иЭта игра одна из первых которая определила для меня жанр игр, которые мне по душе. Игра которая на тот момент совмещала в себе разбой, гонки, сексуальных даже в то время по графике девушек и что за все что ты сделаешь плохого, тебя накажет доблестная полиция. Бесспорно одна из самых важных частей. Ну и не упомянуть миссию с самолетиком, будет просто не правильно, мы ведь все там горели и сколько еще сгорит если кто-то захочет поиграть в нее 2021 или дальше. Но больше всего я запомнил эту игру, из-за того что мы с папой были в игротеке и я помогал ему тоже в нее играть :D… Expand

    I really liked the game atmosphere.
    There is a lot to invest in the game, but it's hard to earn it. Radio music is the best in the series. The game is pretty easy!
    I recommend it for completion in 2021 and look forward to remasting!

    This game is a legend. Very fun and very enjoyable. It's technically a legend for the year it came out. And it's unplayable now because it's technically outdated. But it was a beautiful 50 hours. The most special game for me because it is the first pc game I played.

    One of the best gta game ever! Even though I played sa more I always liked vice city more.

    It aged better than 3 and sa. Story is not overly long, colors are vibrant, sounds are good and music is awesome.

    Beach takes too much space.

    Wanted level system is still trash.

    When you die in mission you start from beginning.

    It is classic just like 3, sa and 4.

    Best soundtrack, atmosphere, story, map...
    It was all put together so well its just perfect !

Появилась возможность покупать разные бизнесы. Сюжетные задания хоть немного стали интересными.     Anlatmaya gerek yok. Hepimiz bu oyunu biliyoruz. Ben şahsen Gta 3'ü her ne kadar bundan çok daha güzel ve kaliteli bulsam da bu Vice City'de oldukça güzel bir oyun. Miami atmosferini çok güzel yansıtıyor. 2 puanı senaryosunun biraz kötü olmasından ve oyunun 30 fps olmasından kırdım.

    You play as Tommy Vercetti , a gangster who's just finished a 15-year stint in prison. Once there Tommy teams up with a lawyer and they two begin plans for a big drug trade. Once the drugs and the money disappear, Tommy finds himself fighting to discover who's cheated him while fending off the existing criminal elements of Vice City.
    The Vice City is set in a fictional take on Miami, Florida. The game's look, particularly the clothing and vehicles, reflect its 1980s setting. But it's the voice actors of the game who steal the show. In this game The player may run, jump, or drive vehicles to navigate the game's world. The player uses melee attacks, firearms and explosives to fight enemies.
    In the end, I can say Grand Theft Auto: Vice City provides just about everything you'd want in an outstanding game. It's bigger and better in almost every imaginable way. The game adds enough gameplay content to engage players. I've never gotten bored with GTA Vice City and I am sure it would be same form almost anyone    … Expand

    Not bad game by any means, but easily worse than GTA 3. It was way too vibrant and art-style just didn't connect with me. I like this dark-rainy vibe of GTA 3. Vice City has also one of the worst missions in GTA history.

    Vice City is the first GTA game I have ever played and one of my first gaming experiences. I probably shouldn't at such a young age, but I do not care now.
    The game is really fun and the story is OK, but I hate the remote helicopter level. It does not impact the review, I just need you to know that. I have many great memories of this game in my youngster years.

You're dealing coke, fighting gangs, driving sportscars, wearing the perfect palm shirt, can do whatever the **** you want and you're doing it while 'Africa', 'Dance Hall Days' and 'Owner of a Lonely Heart' is playing on the radio. To me,GTA Vice City is the greatest game, with the greatest setting, with the greatest soundtrack and with the perfect story. It's lightning in a bottle.     One of the best games made ever in that time. Feeling the vibe alone was wonderful but playing this wonderful game was such an enjoyment. Music, atmosphere and stunning 80s style missions and storyline makes it my all time favorite hands down.

    Until recently, I could not complete this game until the end, but, having mastered it, I did it. I don’t like this part of GTA, I didn’t really like the plot, for me it seemed somehow boring and banal. Good thing the plot was very small! Inconvenient management, these stupid uninteresting tasks with business. This game is worth playing only because of the amazing atmosphere of the city.

J'écris 'j'avais" parce que je ne l'ai plus : j'ai arrangé le cd aux ciseaux et mon clebs joue avec le boîtier : ça lui fait les dents. Enfin, donc, quand je l'avais, j'ai tenté de le faire marcher sous windaube 7 et surprise, ce jeu aussi vieux fonctionne ! enfins,J'avais la version PC du jeu chopée dans un cash merde pour un ou deux euros... non, je crois que c'était un euro en fait. Pas de problème, j'ai aussi une babasse qui tourne sous XP (windaube Xpet pour les intimes) et là aussi, le jeu plante ! et même que sans planter, quand on veut le quitter bien gentiment, il reste bloqué, ce gros con !

    Mais alors je percute tout de même... il faut être fou ou inconscient pour jouer aux versions PC des jeux de chez Rocktarte ! il est bien connu que c'est des portages tout foireux et tout foirés... CQFD ! Alors, je me rabats sur la version Xbox... ouii, oui, j'ai ça qui traîne aussi quelque part... je passe un certain temps à retrouver la prise péritel de la Xbox pour la brancher sur ma télé 4K. Eh, c'est rigolo, non ? une prise péritel sur une télé 4K ! du 480p sur un écran 2160p ! hein, t'es sérieux, là ?!...

    Etonnamment, c'est plus flou que pixélisé... ça arrache les yeux mais on s'y fait. Enfin, à peu près. Et là... oui, tu vas rire : et là, le GTA me recasse les couilles et plante chaque fois après la troisième mission ! c'est du vice ou je m'y connais pas. Chez Rocktarte, ils ne savent pas programmer sur la Xbox non plus ! putain de leur race...

    Bon, c'est pas une grosse perte, car même sur PC, le jeu n'est pas bien beau ; on peut néanmoins le rendre à peu près jouable à pied avec le clavier et la souris. Et encore... Et pour configurer la menette, c'est mission impossible. Sur la Xbox, on se rend compte tout de même des saccades dès qu'il y a de l'action, des flics qui se téléportent derrière vous, des renforts de truands qui déboulent plus vite que la lumière et... de la non-jouabilité quasi-totale du truc : le pire TPS qu'on ait jamais vu !

    Par ailleurs, le jeu ne fait pas de sauvegarde automatique après une mission, ce qui implique de retourner à cette planque de merde à chaque fois : ça gave mais d'une force !... incréable. Et comme il plante avant qu'on ait le temps de revenir à la planque, on l'a dans le baba !

    Enfin, bref, quelle daube et quelle grossse merde, bricolée avec le fion ! un jeu vicieux et vicié, pourri jusqu'au trognon.    … Expand

    One of the first games I ever played.Having first voice protagonist and such a map for 2003 it was really revolutionary at the time.Also storyline was quite good it had few shortcomings but nothing too much.What makes this game great is that it managed to perfectly capture Miami 80-s atmosphere.Inspired by film and TV classics Miami Vice and Scarface.

    I had a chance to play this game in 2005. I still remember how much I enjoyed it! One of the best games I have ever played in my life! Probably 30-40hrs on record.

    O melhor GTA seguido do San Andreas.

    A melhor playlist de rádios, a atmosfera dos anos 80 nesse jogo é surreal, ainda mais para a época que foi lançada lá em 2002, nesse ponto, a Take Two (com Rockstar e 2K) é incrível.

    Espero muito que o GTA VI seja em Vice City com transição dos tempos (anos 80 e tempos atuais) como aponta os rumores.

Love the Scarface inspiration for Tommy's character arc. The 80's Miami based open world offers a reasonably diverse and interesting sand box in which to get lost in and cause chaos.

    Where the game for me starts to give anger issues when it comes to the shooting mechanics, with mouse aiming, they're so bloody inprecise and unintuitive, it makes you fail plenty of missions, as the enemies are more than good when it comes to hitting you. Sticking to unbalanced enemy AI, Tommy's health can run out extremely fast, even with armor, there are missions where enemies just swarm you or hit you from god knows where on the map. I kinda wish the game had PS2's lock on aim as side option on the PC. Then there is also an annoying issue with mouse even working, you have to pause/unpause the game a couple of times in order for it to work, something that was evident in San Andreas aswell on PC, only in a worse manner than in Vice City. Then there is a severe graphical issue in the form of road reflections during rainy weather, they're not present in the PC version, where as they are on the PS2, nice job R*.

    Even if it can be pretty annoying at times, battling with the PC version's faults, the game is still a good fun. Though it makes me want even more to play it on the PS2 where the true amazingness of the game can be unlocked and experienced.    … Expand

    Rockstar явно вдохновлялись фильмом "Лицо со шрамом", когда делали эту замечательную игру, похожие персонажи, некоторые имена имеют сходства с фильмом, есть песни из фильма (She s on fire), да даже главного героя зовут Томми ( в фильме был Тони).

    Incredibly cool game of its time. In addition to the main plot and many small side-quests, it was possible to play it literally forever by inventing activities for yourself on the open spaces of the great gaming city. It was big, beautiful and atmospheric, playing 100% of all its zones.
    A truly open gaming world of the early 2000s.

This was my introduction to an open world game, and my first experience with this game was simply astounding. Surely, things have gotten better with time, but I don't think even the finest GTA games will ever make me love this game any less. I have loved the entire storyline of the game. I absolutely love almost every one of the missions, especially the ones which involve some kind of killing, intimidating and/or heist. And, not before this, had I seen a game giving tribute to movies. A mission involving bank heist (one of my favorites), had a tribute to Friday the 13th. A "Love Juice" mission (I don't remember the name of the mission, again, the final one) has a tribute to "Speed". Still I have tiny little problems with this game - perhaps the most generic ones. The protagonist cannot swim. He can survive jumping off a 200 ft building, but cannot swim. That has caused many difficulties to me in certain missions. Also, some missions are too unnecessarily difficult. The Driver, Demolition Man - in particular. Not just difficult, they aren't as thrilling as other missions like Phnom Pneh, Bank Job, and other missions we get at Diaz's, Cortez's and other places. Hell, random rampage missions are much better. On the whole, not a fan of racing missions at all. They have proven to be some stupid hurdles to me for getting to next exciting mission. But apart from that, I love every single bit of this game!!

    Just another masterpiece by Rockstar Games. Every single GTA game has this "MUST-PLAY" certificate here on Metacritic on every single platform like PC, XBOX and PlayStation, coincidence? I don't think so. You have no choice but to buy every single one of them. You must play.

Это загрузка оставила такой след в сердцах почитателей, я хочу заострить внимания именно на почитателях Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, а ни вообще Grand Theft Auto. Ведь эти люди и теперь могут зайти в этот шедевр и пройти его от начала и до конца. После чего в конце всплакнуть и сказать, что: «Я видел нечто прекрасное, то что западает в душу на долго и уже никогда от туда не выйдет». Я из таких ребят и по-настоящему горжусь этим. Не в плане хвастовство и олдскульщины, а в плане почитания и уважения к хорошей игре. Ведь ее действительно можно любить искренне, и без капли сомнения.

    Понятно что люди, которые играли в нее еще в те времена, приходили в восторг ещё больше. Для них это было неким совершенством, которое не хочется покидать. Когда ты заходишь сейчас, может иногда ты можешь подумать о плохой графике и о чем не будь ещё старом. Но как только начинаешь играть, тебя в сразу с ног сбивает запах атмосферы и ностальгии. Эти чувства абсолютно неподкупны. Я ни в какой игре не испытываю такой ностальгии, как в Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Rockstar покорили мое сердце тогда, и продолжают покорять сейчас, спустя столько лет. Объективному и строгому геймеру трудно что-то подсунуть, хоть тогда на этот счет вообще не задумывались. Поэтому нюх на хорошую игру сработал в то время как надо, но самое интересное, что и продолжает срабатывать.

    Майами 80-х просто шикарное время для преступной истории. Это неотъемлемая часть той эпохи, которая показала себя не с лучшей стороны, со стороны наркотиков. Кокаин был везде, а там где его не было он тут же появлялся. И кто смотрел фильм "Лицо со шрамом", знает что в игре было не только много отсылок. По сути весь путь главного героя, был построен на пути главного героя фильма. Я ни в коем случаи не хочу сказать, что это какой-то там плагиат. Это вдохновение разработчик, их узренние прекрасного и сотворение идеального. Они воспользовались лучшим, чтобы сделать еще лучше. Когда ты играешь и замечаешь эти намеки, ты неимоверно радуешься. Мысли не приходят, чтобы выдвигать какие-то обвинения. Это замечательно проделанная работа, которая ни осталось не замеченная, истинными и преданными фанатами. Да, в этом плане фанаты шарят чуть больше. Но ведь есть люди, которые посмотрели фильм после прохождения, и они тоже осознали и узрели прекрасное, по сути в двойне.    … Expand

Как минимум эта часть на голову выше предыдущей по всем показателям, для своего времени полнейших восторг и свобода, приправлена красивой картинкой, харизматичным главным героем (не молчуном), и прекрасно подобранным саундтреком. В этой части можно провести много часов даже в наше время, покупая недвижимость, играя за разные профессии, не могу сказать точно, но Vice City чуть ли не единственная в своем роде, где представлены так много возможных профессий (привет GTA V). Интересно будет глянуть спустя 15 лет как будет выглядеть и восприниматься GTA 4-5, но Vice City будут помнить еще долго, ровно как и играть, спасибо RockStar за этот шедевр!    … Expand

    Best of all, the numerous bugs and glitches that brought the PS2 version down a notch have been cleaned up and eliminated, for the most part. Enemies no longer shoot you through solid walls, you no longer randomly lose health while running, and cars remain in your garage until you take them out.
