    Nostalgia is a great thing, especially when you have access to the game on the console you played it on as a kid (GTA 3, VC, SA on PS2).

    I never found the games to be bad, even 15/20 years after they released on PS2. But HOLY HELL, are these remasters BAD. Playing GTA SA on the PS2 in 2021 is a great experience still, compared to this absolute buggy, unoptimized, glitchy pile of    Nostalgia is a great thing, especially when you have access to the game on the console you played it on as a kid (GTA 3, VC, SA on PS2).

    I never found the games to be bad, even 15/20 years after they released on PS2. But HOLY HELL, are these remasters BAD. Playing GTA SA on the PS2 in 2021 is a great experience still, compared to this absolute buggy, unoptimized, glitchy pile of rubbish.

    The fact they were and STILL are charging $60 for this is an absolute joke.

    If I were you, grab a PS2 for $10, get the original games for a few bucks each. You will enjoy it more, and if you grew up with these games, will leave the legacy intact.    … Expand

    This game came out for 60$. Even if it was free to play the hard disk space it occupies is more valuable. Do not buy this.

    Не понимаю, за что просят такие деньги, хуже ремастера, чем этот - я в жизни не видел, конченные миссии, идиотская стрельба, графика... Все тот же двухтысячный год, только с более реалистичными Отражениями и текстурами, а в остальном... Это пиздец, в сравнении с ремастерами резидент эвил, мафии и т.д. - за этот не то, что деньги отдавать не хочется, а наоборот - это рокстар должны мнеНе понимаю, за что просят такие деньги, хуже ремастера, чем этот - я в жизни не видел, конченные миссии, идиотская стрельба, графика...     Gta: the trilogy -the definitive edition An interesting project, rockstar patches have fixed half of the bugs and shortcomings. I, like all players, expected more from Rockstar, but I didn’t get what everyone wanted. In general, the game is not bad and my rating is 8/10

    Either keep the atmosphere that made the original great OR actually improve on the gameplay to bring it to modern day gaming for a new experiece. They did neither, and everything but the draw distance looks worse like storms or lighting.

    I found this game to be very good and it revived old memories in me, i didn't even remember the storyline so it was like a first time to me, i consider this to be must play if you played the original ones 10+ years ago (obv get it pirated for now because it is very expensive). They took beloved games, made them look worse, made them perform worse, left old bugs in and created over 15,000 new ones, made character models look like melted wax, the "granny" mobile game genuinelly has better graphics than these multi million dollar "remasters".

    Also if you want proof just how little the company cares, look up grove street games, the scumbag CEO is denying that they did anything wrong, talking crap all over the internet acting like ALL the criticisms are simply untrue and that he created a "masterpiece". The company does not deserve your money

    Disgraceful is the best way to describe this. Taking old games polishing them up and then reselling the same existing product for easy money is not a new concept, but rockstar but in zero effort into this.

    1:It was made by a mobile company which right off the bat tells you it never even had the potential to be good.

    2: They somehow took games that were originally released as far back as 2001 and made them look *worse* than they already did. The original GTA 3 had more detailed models for everything, people, vehicles, buildings, weapons and clothing than this "remaster" has

    3: Bugs bugs bugs, these "remasters" take existing assets and supposedly "improve" them with more modern technology yet somehow the god awful company behind this not only left ever existing bug in the games but also managed to create roughly 15,000 new ones. evidently there was zero play testing done on this game. You genuinelly cannot play for more than 90 seconds without encountering at least 5 seperate bugs.

    All in all this is both a joke and a spit in the face of customers. These games are iconic:
    GTA 3 was the first 3d sandbox game of its genre, it literally changed the landscape for all games to come after it.
    Vice city is not as recognized as 3 or SA but it holds its own place, it took what GTA 3 started and expanded on it
    San andreas is the most legendary thing rockstar has ever created, this is without a doubt where GTA peaked. The customisation, the weight gain/loss, the ability to learn different fighting styles, the car customisation, the gang recrtuiment mechanics, the dates, the eating/drinking. San andreas encapsulated everything that makes GTA fun and ran with it.

    These remasters are so bad they urinate over the memory and legacy of these 3 games. If they had been remastered with a single shred of integrity then it could be a different story, iconic games remastered somewhat to modern standards could and should have been an easy way for rockstar both to make huge profit and to regain some popularity since their reputation has been waning thanks to their laziness of shilling the most boring gta (V) for almost a full decade without anything new.    … Expand

    This is such a terrible remaster of the face is crooked, the physics has not changed, the sounds are the same, there is no calizia, light is reflected from the characters, and my head ached from the rain. DO NOT BUY BOTH!

Üç efsane GTA oyununun büyük bir popülaritesi ve hayran kitlesi varken Rockstar bu potansiyeli değerlendiremeyip bir de üstüne birçok olumsuz eleştiri aldı. Mod yapımcılarının Definitive Edition'daki bazı eksikliklere/hatalara (CJ'in düşük çözünürlüklü pantolonu ve berbat yağmur efekti gibi) çözüm bulmasına rağmen Rockstar'ın bu konuda hiçbir somut adım atmaması ve yalnızca kuru bir özürle yetinmesi büyük bir hayal kırıklığı. Hayal kırıklığı olan bir diğer nokta ise Definitive Edition'ın eski GTA oyunlarına oynanış konusunda hiçbir yenilik getirmemesi. Bu oyunlar artık 20 senelik, haliyle artık çok yavan ve sıkıcı bir oynanışa sahipler. Temel mekaniklerden vuruş hissine akla gelebilecek her türlü oynanış elementinde bu oyunlar artık ilkel kalıyor. Bu kadar eksiklik varken Definitive Edition'ın getirdiği yenilikler navigasyon sistemi ve GTA V tarzı silah/radyo istasyonu seçme ekranı ile sınırlı kalınca doğal olarak oyucunun bu oyunlara karşı hiçbir ilgisi, heyecanı kalmıyor. Özellikle GTA III'ün berbat görev dizaynı da işin içine girince daha serinin ilk oyununda ben şahsen sıkıldım. Bunlarla birlikte bir de Definitive Edition'ın hatalarla dolu olduğu gerçeği var. Evet oyunlara 60 saniye başına kare desteği getirilmiş ancak bununla birlikte pek çok hata da ortaya çıkmış. GTA III'te kaplamaların geç yüklenmesi, araçların havada gitmesi ve görünmeyen bir duvara takılmak gibi saçma sapan sorunlar yaşadım. Bunlar zaten iyi olmayan oyun deneyimimi tam anlamıyla berbat etti. Aynı şekilde Vice City'de de kaplamaların geç yüklenmesi ve parçalanan araçların kopan kısımlarının değişik yerlere ışınlanması gibi hatalarla karşılaştım. Ek olarak oyunlara sis eklenmesi unutulduğu için haritada yüksek bir noktaya çıkıldığı zaman tüm harita görülüyor ve bu da haritanın çok küçük hissettirmesine sebep oluyor, ayrıca görüntü de güzel değil; kabartma haritası gibi. Köprünün yok olması, sokaktaki direğin üstüne çıkıp birden tekrar aşağı inen yayalar ve görevde yanımda bulunan yapay zekâların aniden ölüp göreve baştan başlamama sebep olmaları San Andreas'ta karşıma çıkan hatalardandı. Ayrıca oyundaki yapay zekâya hiçbir iyileştirme sağlanmadığı için oyunlar bazı noktalarda gerçekten oyuncuyu çileden çıkarıyor. Yolda arabayla ilerlerken aniden arabanın önüne atlayan yayalara ve görevdeki müttefiklerimizin arabamıza bindikten sonra aniden araçtan atladığına birçok defa şahit oldum. Aynı şekilde düşman yapay zekâsı da gerçekten berbat. Duvarlara çarpan ve bazı yerlerde sıkışıp kalan düşmanlara birçok defa rastladım. Bunlar bu yeniden düzenlemelere hiç özenilmediğinin ve baştan savma yapıldıklarının kanıtıdır kesinlikle. Grafiksel olarak ise Definitive Edition, oyunların eski sürümlerine göre oldukça iyi. Tüm kaplamalar elden geçirilmiş ve ışıklandırma, gölgelendirme ve yansıma kalitesi gözle görülür şekilde geliştirilmiş. Ayrıca patlama efekti de oldukça hoş duruyor. Bunlara rağmen Definitive Edition'ın günümüz standartlarında bir grafik kalitesine sahip olmadığını açık bir şekilde söyleyebilirim. San Andreas'ı bitirdikten sonra GTA V'e tekrardan başladım ve 2015 yılında bilgisayarlar için çıkış yapan GTA V, Definitive Edition'dan grafiksel olarak çok daha iyi. Optimizasyon olarak da oyun problemli. GTA V'i 1080p en yüksek, RDR 2'yi ise yüksek ayarlarda stabil bir şekilde oynadığım bilgisayarda Definitive Edition'ı oynarken birçok performans sorunu yaşadım, yer yer saniye başına kare oranı 35 civarına kadar düştü. Kısaca özetlemek gerekirse; Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition baştan savma yapılmış yeniden düzenleme oyunlar içeren bir paket.     Fest of The pop-up. Only good in this game is soundtrack... Controll is terrible, from drive to shoot (on controller). Animations are terrible. Characters models are ugly :/ 1 points for sentiment. I dont recommend this game for anyone

    Anyone who's giving this game 10/10 after spending 60$ on it is either a paid R* bootlicker or a R* employee. No way this pile of cr*p gets 10/10 from anyone. It shouldn't get a 0 either. Metacritic needs to introduce minus rating just for this cr*p pile of a release. R* knew exactly what they were releasing.     The only thing "OKAY" about this game are the graphics, pretty much what you would expect after porting the game into Unreal Engine 4, looks ok but not worth selling your soul for.
    95% of all new character models look like animated cartoon characters you would find on Minimax, the rest of 5% are okay, but soulless looking, Claude's stare taught me about my own horoscope for a year.
    Imagine two bodies with different masses, like a grain of sand and compare it to the Earth size-wise, that is a perfect comparison of pros and cons this game has, and the pros aren't eligible to be the Earth I can tell ya' that.
    There's soo much to speak about this game but the 0.5 User Score with over 5.000 reviews already gives you a good leak on what to expect.
    In conclusion, do not spend your college money on this pile of burnt pizza crust, go spend that money on christmas decorations or something, save yourself please.    … Expand

    Смешно от того, что они делали ЭТО два года. Что они эти два года делали? Добавляли новые баги, а старые, которые были в оригинале, решились не трогать? Да, именно это. "А как же графика??!!" - Да, она лучше, но одновременно и не очень. Начнем с того, что это заслуга "Урины энджин", и разрабы не так сильно и потели над УлУчШеНиЕм. Они умудрились увеличить дальность прорисовки, а про лоды.... кто такие лоды? Они могли хотябы тумана добавить, а так вся карта будто на ладони, это же элементарно добавить... 21 человек, ну камон, хоть один из них должен знать, что такое туман. А про атмосферу, которая была в оригиналах... лучше помолчать. Ну зато вода классная, такая голубая как рубашка Томми Спагетти ахахахаххах))))

From missing collision, random bugs in cutscenes, floating textures which are extremely easy to find since freecam exists, cars exploding randomly, cars exploding too quickly when set on fire, being flung across the map randomly, cop and civilian vehicle spawning on par with Cyberpunk 2077's (cars will appear out of thin air right in front of you and cause you to crash, happened to me on multiple occasions.), vehicles floating in midair and glitches/bugs from the original still present in the remasters. (The island skip in 3 & Vice City still work from their PS2 counterparts) and structures missing when the collision for them is present. Some of the models look VERY bad, actually, most of them look god awful. Bad AI upscaling... I haven't scratched the surface on how bad these games were, thankfully even after a good 10+ hours of game time, I was issued a refund and if you own these games, I HIGHLY encourage you to get your money back unless you plan on waiting for the originals to return to the R* launcher. If you haven't purchased this game yet. DON'T. Save your £55. Get something with more passion and love put into it. Why did Rockstar use a mobile company with a terrible rep to make these games instead of the folks at North & Dundee? I have no idea.

    robbed us all GTA III is a compete mess, Vice City has game breaking bugs with Phil stopping all progress, and San Andreas difficulty has been wacked the **** out, try to do gang wars and get one shot from an AK from 3 blocks down the street, what the **** happened here? and pc users aren't getting any updates to fix this mess, we get to sit and watch the console get fixed, **** Rockstar.

The devs should rework eveerything before releasing this game again. A delayed game can become good but a rushed game stays bad. So delay Rockstar. Delay until we get what you know is quality.… Expand

Esto es injugable y una estafa. No lo recomiendo para nada; mejor descargar las versiones originales y si deseáis mejores gráficos añadirle un mod.

    For many, it is 2-3 working days. I do not recommend supporting such producers, I recommend that you buy the game from another manufacturer or use your money for a purpose other more valuable than this game.

    GTA Definitive Edition is painfully and unfathomably bad. In nearly all ways, it is a worse experience than the original twenty year-old games. There is so much wrong with it, that it would take for ever just to list it. The game introduces an array of bugs not present in the original and messes up nearly everything else.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
