    This game came out for 60$. Even if it was free to play the hard disk space it occupies is more valuable. Do not buy this.

    A huge impudence what Rockstar has delivered there.One of the worst remasters in gaming history. If modders do the job better than my giant super duper extremely expensive team for free, they should just close their store.

    i never thought rockstar would sink this low. even though i know it was grovestreet who made the game, rockstar looked at this and said it was good enough and put a 60$ price tag on it. and in other news, after pulling GTA IV mods of the shelf which all i can say "ah **** here we go again"

    They removed original games. They banned fan mods. As alternative they gave fortnite cancer that not even running.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. At least cyberpunk 2077 would launch. This is literally worse in that you can't even launch it. Add onto that the worse graphical remake in history plus immeasurable bugs and errors from automated processes never double checked by humans. It can't even spell words correctly.… Expand

    I have no words, everything is so bad, so so bad. Very disappointed in Rockstar they left this piece of crap to be released.

    1 - The community makes MODS with much more quality than that. I know there is loss of performance, but I'm talking about the QUALITY of the modelers. Better professionals than Rockstar itself. 2 - How did Rockstar approve this? Or didn't even look at how the project was after it    It's disappointing what developers are doing with their games for a buck.

    I don't know what Rockstar was thinking when making this game. The game is in a terrible state, no changes have been made except for the graphics. The game mechanics haven't even changed. We are playing the same game that came out 20 years ago. Also, the rain effect in the game is a disaster. In short, the legendary series is ruined. Rockstar has done a really disastrous job after all these years.

    It's great. I love the thought of it. If you spent money on this for PC, that's all you get. Just imagine all the bugs you could be struggling with, it's all you can do because the game is literally not available 3 days after launch for PC owners. What an absolute joke. What a slap in the face to the fans that made you the company that you are today. Shameful, greedy, corporate trash.

    Pathetic... **** up a classic once alright.. but **** up 3 more years later? War Drum AKA Grove Street Games should never touch a piece of developing software again. Leave it to the people that actually made the game right the first time. If I could rate negatively I would.

    This is why you don't put a mobile game company to make remastered versions of your games. This is pure garbage, I couldn't ignore how the game got worse in some aspects, this is a scam, a quick money grab and i want a refund. Jesus!

    Oh boy... They really dropped the ball with this one.
    - Character models looking much worse than in the original games
    - Rain blocking most visibility, to the point that it breaks some missions - Glitches, bugs and framerate drops everywhere - Lack of fog makes the map look small and awful - The hot coffee code being left in San Andreas - All 3 games looking terrible overall, even worse    Oh boy... They really dropped the ball with this one.
    - Character models looking much worse than in the original games
    - Rain blocking most visibility, to the point that it breaks some missions
    - Glitches, bugs and framerate drops everywhere
    - Lack of fog makes the map look small and awful
    - The hot coffee code being left in San Andreas
    - All 3 games looking terrible overall, even worse than the originals
    - Most soundtracks removed and replaced with worse songs

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
