Best FG in PC right now. Amazing graphics, and netcode is not as bad as people say

bad, terrible port from incompetent devs who don't understand PCs
you canchange the battle controls for the keyboard but you can't change the menu controls, making all super confusing and annoying. not being able to change the keybings is UNACCEPTABLE.

A masterpiece - great mix of fighting and rpg with beautiful graphics and art, animations and sound, intuitive controls and very addictive gameplay. Best of curated!

I haven't played the story mode but not sure I ever will.

I just got this for about £1.50 and I'm glad that's all I paid. I have the same gripes with this as I do every Street Fighter since 3. It just feels slow and sluggish, very floaty. I play KoF, Blazblue, Fatal Fury's, Guilty Gear's, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter 3, Injustice, MK and they feel mostly fast and fluid. It looks

It looks great, don't get me wrong, it is nicely polished and sound quality is good but a bit generic. Gameplay wise it just isn't fun because of the speed of play. I feel there was massive potential here that just hasn't been capitalised on. It's a shame because I love the visuals but in the 2D fighting genre it is just massively out classed by the competition.

I am impressed enough to give a new release a shot if it looks fluid enough but I might as well be fighting with Carebears, it just feels slow. Definitely not top tier ArcSys, even Under night is better and that game feels unfinished. There is never any reason to purchase this above other ArcSys games like Blazblue Centralfiction, or Guilty Gear Xrd. When you include other companies in the mix, there are just loads of better options.

The average score for this was something like 4.7 and I guess that is fair but I have over 30-40 fighters and this is right near the bottom of the pile for me. Unlikely to play again. 1 run through to be boring as hell is not good in my eyes. This is on a Street Fighter 5 level of ****

Great characters in both gameplay and story. Some moments of the plot will be fully understood only by those who played the original Granblue Fantasy.
The control on the keyboard is the same as in most fighting games - at first it’s inconvenient, and then you get used to it.
An interesting approach to the passage of the single-player part. The system for selecting and upgrading weapons

An interesting approach to the passage of the single-player part. The system for selecting and upgrading weapons and characters partially migrated from the original game.
In addition to the main quests, there is also an optional quests that provides insignificant parts of the plot or a short background of the characters so that the player can learn a little about their life and personality.
The graphics are very nice and detailed. Sometimes, due to the style, there is a feeling that some cutscenes are looks like at 15 fps, but this is not reflected in the gameplay itself.

Not sure what the other scores are about but this a a really solid game. It's easy for lower skill players to get into while still retaining a ton of depth. Each character is very unique and fills in a specific archetype, and the overall balance definitely isn't bad.

Great way to start learning fighting games, gameplay is top notch, music is amazing, graphics are what you would expect over an arsys game. Wish it had better netcode, but I have a blast playing it with friends. Shame about the online codes.

Pretty visuals can only take a game so far, as once you get past that, you get an admittedly fun story mode, but the actual gameplay itself constantly works against the player, featuring refresh mechanics on special moves and the game just prematurely ending your combo, even if it wasn't that long. Granblue Fantasy Versus stands on a strange low point of fighting games where rollback just became the new hot word for them and this game doesn't have it on a already niche genre, if you are mostly a online gamer this will not be worth it for you as the online is pretty much dead and I can't even get a rank match to pass the initial phase of the online mode.

With that said, the game has a LOT of good in it, from great graphics that mimic anime perfectly and only ArcSystem can do so well, amazing voice acting something that is mind blowing to me on a japanese fighting game having a great cast of english voice over plus intros and victory dialogue for each different encounter, the art style of Granblue is something beautiful and I find most of the cast extremely likeable.
The gameplay follows a more easy aproach like the Dragon Ball Fighterz game, there is auto combo and shortcuts for skills although you can use the proper input and get lower cooldown (yes skills here are based on cooldown and not a metter).
For single player content you have plenty, from a extensive training mode with all it could possibly offer for you the learn from basic to advanced gameplay mechanics, a robust RPG story mode with loot, quests missions, cutscenes (most of them simple old style dialogue where characters just talk) and a tower mode where you need to clear floors and go up to get more loot, money, exp and crafting.
So this is my opinion, the game itself is worth it if you accept the current state of it's online AND on sale, my biggest problem with this game is not even the current state of the online but it's price tag, I got it on sale for 40 eur character pack version, that has the base game (only having a very small roster) and the first season, sounds ok on sale but then there's Season pass 2 that off sale also feels overpriced and then you still have 3 Stages to buy that I also got on sale but feels that it's a very bad move to make paid stages instead of free updates for all, surprise it's not over, there is also a few VERY overpriced color packs, only 2 of them were cheap on sale (60cents).
I hope this review helped you make up your mind on spending or not spending your precious money on this game

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a really fun and well-made fighting game, ideal for newcomers. If it offered more offline content in its standard package and a better online code was implemented, then we would highly recommend it to all fans of the genre.

This gorgeous anime-style fantasy fighter is great for beginners and fans of 2D brawlers. It's fun, and flashy with genuinely endearing characters. However, a somewhat underdeveloped single-player experience and dated netcode hold it back from being truly top-tier.
