Fun, short game (2,5h for me). It might not have ideal handling of weapons and some other minor issues, but the boss fights are really entertaining and you can really break a sweat!

Yet another VR "game" which just feels like a tech demo, besides that,

Very bad movement system, feels really unnatural and cheap
I couldn't find a way to open the menu / change settings properly
Shallow and boring after a few minutes

    - May be worth it heavily discounted if you really love VR

The best way to describe Gorn's appeal is some mix between "Primal" and "Visceral." While the devs turn the pressure up sending more and more enemies at you there is just a primal aspect of your brain that activates and turns you into an insatiable killing machine chopping through countless nameless faces tearing them limb from limb and coming out feeling the urge to shout just like one your ancestors made after a hard-fought battle.

The only complaints I have with it are some things common to VR titles currently. They just sort of drop you off in arenas with weapons and then throw waves of enemies at you before a novel boss. There isn't really a story, no characters, and no systems to engage in other than the combat. But it is still a fantastic product and was a joy for the 11 hours I played and the hours I will probably continue to play when I wanna chop someone up.

GORN makes a gory, bloodfest type of fighting into a fun pastime that can also serve as a fairly good cardio workout. While there are buckets of blood and dismembered body parts flying around, it is designed in a way to make what would normally be prohibitively gross into something so fun that you will find yourself laughing at the incredible mayhem that surrounds you.

Every component of GORN, from the huge assortment of weaponry to the strange physics, comes together to deliver exactly what is promised: bloody, melee carnage. It’s a no-frills experience that doesn’t concern itself with anything extraneous, like moral questions or a narrative. For some, that’s more than enough. For others, GORN is at least worth checking out, if just to see first-hand how gross dislocated eyeballs are. It’s pretty gross.

Simply put, GORN is among the very best VR games out there.
