    This is one of the worst games I have ever played. The controls are clearly designed for mobile, and would be substandard even for that purpose. The game is about as fun as watching a ball go randomly around a golf course (since that’s what it is). Avoid at all cost.

    "Not available for purchase in your region" - this is what I got after trying to play the new "Bouncy castle" update.

    Just to be clear - I like this game a lot. It's a depression or bad mood killer, and a perfect game when you just want to relax and play something with your friends. But not only is the new update regionally locked, it requires money. WHAT? for a tiny new environment of    "Not available for purchase in your region" - this is what I got after trying to play the new "Bouncy castle" update.

    Just to be clear - I like this game a lot. It's a depression or bad mood killer, and a perfect game when you just want to relax and play something with your friends.
    But not only is the new update regionally locked, it requires money. WHAT? for a tiny new environment of an old game? If the developers took the No Man's Sky route and posted it as a free update, I'd recommend the game to more people, heck I'd buy it to some of my friends because my interest for it would be back. But nope. Even if I could purchase it I wouldn't bother paying for such a tiny update. The game is so dead to me now. Not recommended.    … Expand

    one of the worst games i've played in the last few years!!

    the physics are SO off. you shoot in an 45 degree angle on an even boundary and the ball doesn't only NOT bounce in the same angle, it just bounces 90 degrees in the wrong direction. the bar where you can set the power to shoot is completely random. you can do it exact the same way multiple times and it will differ every single    one of the worst games i've played in the last few years!!

    the bar where you can set the power to shoot is completely random. you can do it exact the same way multiple times and it will differ every single time. for example: on the same spot you should uphill with full power. sometimes the ball is too short to reach the edge to the next level & sometimes it's way to much power and it goes out of bounds.
    also if you have to shoot and there is a gap in-between you can land 1 meter after the obstacle and the ball glitches through the floor and you have to start again.

    it is unplayable and a torture. definitely won't recommend this game.

    It’s a little janky at times and the interface a bit cumbersome, but at its core it’s a brilliantly entertaining game that knows what it wants to be, and achieves it well.

    A decent game that may or may entertain (equal parts chance enjoy or annoy). If you like a challenge and the sort of games Team 17 release then this may well be up your alley, it’s not super expensive so it’s a decent option if you want a bit of putting fun.

    There have been plenty of outings over the past few years that take the basic template of golf, as a sport, and manage to transform into something else. Whether it’s deep in strategy or surreal in delivery, fans of golf have been well serviced. Golf With Your Friends, by contrast, comes across as the antithesis of this approach. A game that goes out of its way to antagonize, despite its variety and ridiculousness in course design. In some parts, that philosophy does find a way to delight and entertain, without descending into an unnecessary leap of faith or threading the needle-like situation that most of its holes unfortunately end up forcing players into. Those who can find joy in such random, unearned chaos may get a small ounce of fun here, but for everybody else, Golf With Your Friends‘ unpolished, finicky and messy delivery takes little time to put even the most patient of mini-golf enthusiasts off completely.
