Jun 12, 2019Golem is fun little puzzle-platformer with a top-notch presentation both in sound and art direction. It’s not particularly challenging, but it’s an extremely well-made side-scrolling adventure about an unlikely but delightful friendship.

Jun 22, 2018Golem is a cute, point-and-click puzzle game which features a stellar soundtrack, a unique art style, and numerous puzzles. With only a few directional issues, the game provides an interesting take on the puzzle genre. Each level is layered with numerous mysteries, beautiful artwork and a great soundtrack to compliment the visual spectacle of the tower looming overhead.

May 30, 2018Golem is a magic adventure which excels by reminding us that games can be art. A great sense of companionship between protagonists, intelligent and difficult puzzles, an astonishing art design, a beautiful soundtrack and a great communion of these aspects makes the creation of Longbow Games rise as one of the most special indies of the year.

Jun 26, 2018Golem is a very interesting indie game, with its original mix of adventure, puzzle and platform elements. Controls can still be improved, but it's fun and well done even in its current state.

Jun 25, 2018Longbow Games believes that solving puzzles is satisfying in itself without any other rewards than making progress. And it really works. The gameplay is such addictive that my time away from the game was filled with anxiety to get back into it and solve the big riddle of the tower.

Jun 6, 2018Golem attempts but fails to find harmony in bringing a vague tale together with any sort of emotional resonance. That might have been easier to forgive if the journey itself was exceptional. Instead Golem's inconsistent puzzles and jarring difficulty spikes will infuriate you more than they infatuate.
