Jul 28, 2016Ghostbusters is unfortunately a very boring and bad game. The four main characters have no charisma and they try to seem funny... but they are not at all. The gameplay is repetitive and the player will be bored in no time, and it is really too bad that the Ghostbusters franchise couldn't be honored with a good game that the original four deserve. Because Ghostbusters is simply worth it, this is not.

Jul 15, 2016No informed gamer should fall for the siren song of that catchy main theme. It’s not actively painful to play if you happen to be at your eight-year-old cousin’s house and need a co-op game for six to eight hours that’s not going to require much skill. But you could do so much better. I can’t imagine ever wanting to drop a full 50 dollars on it.

Jul 15, 2016There's precious little sign of excitement, imagination or progression, the weapons are weedy and the storytelling poor. Given that there are plenty of other twin-stick shooters with better gameplay and graphics out there, you'd be mad to buy it were it a fiver. At over £30, however? That's the biggest joke of all.

Jul 15, 2016Want to see what's wrong with movie tie-ins? Play this game. It's a boring, badly written, repetitive and uninspired mess, sold at an high price. Forget about it, and forget about the fact that the name "Ghostbusters" is written on the cover.

Jul 19, 2016Ghostbusters is one of the worst video games I have ever played. It wears its disdain for the player on its sleeve, and the truly scary thing is that everything in it appears to be working as intended.

CD-ActionOct 14, 2016Sadly all the words I would like use to concisely sum up Ghostbusters are not admissible in print. [10/2016, p.62]
