    Genshin is a real nightmare without spending money or getting some character most of the systems are worst then game before 2010. It also has very overexposed characters and they cant do it without ruining characters personality or lore and also Devs only listen to Chinesse comunity while ignoring 99% of other region communitys.     Over the past almost 3 years I've spent about 15 bucks on this game. The characters are fun, though a little fanservice-y, especially the femme ones. The character design is probably my main issue with this game. The primary gameplay loop of combat is well designed, especially with element interactions. The gacha is harsh and not very friendly to f2p players like myself, especially when it comes to levelling up your characters and weapons. And yet, I'm still GODDAMN ADDICTED.

    На самом деле игра не так плоха, конечно это фтп дрочильня но плохо ли она работает как дрочильня, в плане, есть ли там гора интересного контента для нового игрока? И ответ - да, в игре куча активностей, приятный геймплей, и красивая графика, но за всем этим скрывается гачи система из-за которой без доната скорее всего вы не сможете получить свою вайфу, ведь если не донатить придетсяНа самом деле игра не так плоха, конечно это фтп дрочильня но плохо ли она работает как дрочильня, в плане, есть ли там гора интересного контента для нового игрока? Я считаю что это игра для аудитории не играющих в игры людей или детей которые не во что никогда не играли, тут нет действительно супер крутых и интересных квестов, игра максимально простая, наверное потому что это мобилка а не крупная ААА игра и я не считаю разумным требовать от мобилки уровня проработки ААА игр, игра уже где то на уровне игр юбисофт а большего по сути и не надо… Expand

    Major activities that take hours of time, or anything seemingly significant for that matter, reward barely scraps of a single pull. When you think outside the box, you can see how pathetic it is, how poorly F2Ps are treated here. There are literally barely enough primogems in the entire game (which takes hundreds of hours to gather) just to guarantee a single 5* which takes double pity (180pulls - 28800 primos).
    Just don't, far better options around for the gatcha element. Better yet, don't bother with gatcha at all, lookup mod communities, have incredible characters made with passion for free.    … Expand

    It’s straight up decent to be real. Most people just rate it horrible because there are some features that are ripped from other games and awful community exists. If you actually play it, you can kinda enjoy it.

    It is a good pastime. I like to do my dailies commissions and farm some artifacts while hearing an podcast since the game doesn't really need the full awareness of the player but I really only play because of the rewards (primogens), it isn't funny at all to farm the same set for de 908th or to do the same stupid commission to protect a Ballon for the 67th time.

    The story of the game is    It is a good pastime. I like to do my dailies commissions and farm some artifacts while hearing an podcast since the game doesn't really need the full awareness of the player but I really only play because of the rewards (primogens), it isn't funny at all to farm the same set for de 908th or to do the same stupid commission to protect a Ballon for the 67th time.

    The story of the game is just a miss or hit, some are good, others are not. One thing annoying is the amount of unnecessary dialogues this game has that doesn't add anything to the stories or the event and it is just an annoying thing between you and 60 free primogens that 80% of the time is just worth it 1/3 of a wish that you get a literally useless 3* weapon.

    Many people complain about the gatcha system and I agree it sucks sometimes. I had my bad moments but also has lucky moments. I like this system simply because I am 100% F2P and honestly I have all characters that I need to beat any challenge in this game and if I managed to get this without paying 1 cent, at least for me, this system worked just fine so I don't have any reason to complain. I think people have to know, they can't have all characters in the game. They need 2 top-tier DPS and pull for good supports only.

    The combat system is cool, many people say they don't like the Spiral Abyss, I like it. I pretty much always get 36* on every abyss reset, not because 50 primogens are a great reward (they are trash) but because I like the challenge that only floor 12 (and sometimes floor 11) bring to the game. I always wanted more content like Spiral Abyss or new floors but Mihoyo never brought it. It is a shame, so I can only play Spiral Abyss every 2 weeks.

    The exploration of this game is one of my favorite parts. I like to solve puzzles and explore the world and the maps of this game is really beautiful. It is a shame that the content ends so fast.

    The graphics of this game are ok, the models of the characters are kinda bad, they lack models of musculus type of characters. Actually, they pretty much only have 3 models of characters, child characters, teen characters and adult characters. All are slim.    … Expand

How do you expect people to enjoy the game, when they're not being rewarded fairly and properly? If you actually did want to spend a little money to make the game progression easier, then you would have to go through the game's crappy wish system, where the RNG is either amazing, or more unfair than a casino. Other than that, there is still one major issue I have with the game. It's the lack of actual content. When people who play the game regularly run of content to play, and ask miHoYo to add more things to do, they interpret that as rereleasing the same stuff almost every single time. Sure, it technically adds something to do, but that's not what people want. This also poses a problem for the people who just started playing and are overwhelmed by the amount of content they have to go through. This makes the game feel like a chore more than an enjoyable past time. The art style and a lot of the character designs are pretty good, and so is the combat. I think Genshin Impact has a lot of potential, but the developers not listening to the problems of the players makes it hard to improve the game.… Expand

    If you cannot control your expenses, do not download this game in any case! An extremely aggressive monetization system has been noticed!
    BUT
    If you can control your expenses and firmly believe that you will not bring miHoYo a single cent, you can try. Because this game is so relaxing.

    An important thing to understand with this sort of game is that you shouldn't treat it as a job. Don't be consumed by the game as it can get addictive. Even for someone like me who loves to get maximum value out of things, it can be hard to realise that you just gotta take that L and let go. Stop playing for a few weeks, a patch or more. Wait until something like an event, character or new region comes to reignite your passion for the game.    … Expand

    I **** hate gacha games, this is not a game but work, I've reached AR 55 and I'm so dissapointed that I wasted 400 hours...

    Quite fun battle system, good story and lore but with a bit too much text, with a big open world wounded with the micro-transactions system leaving all the good stuff behind artificial limitations, ergo, few incentives to explore because all these good stuff are not in the wild, nonetheless recommended

    The map is relatively big and there are various areas to explore, from grassy fields to rocky mountains and even some unrealistic fantastical regions.

    The core gameplay is great, you can combine different elements and do combination attacks, use the environment against the enemies and have fun, but the grinding is ridiculous, and the only way to unlock new characters is by either buying them with real money or getting them through a "lootbox" mechanic.

    There isn't really an actual story, or rather... it's not very engaging and important, but there are indeed main quests, side quests and challenges but they barely differ.

    Multiplayer mode is also not working very well, only the host of the lobby can properly interact with the world.

    In the end it's merely a good game, it looks and plays very well but it gets boring after a while, and if you want a change of pace then you'll have to deal with gacha mechanics.

    Final Rating: "Good" ~ 7/10.    … Expand

    It's really amazing and fun at the beginning of the game. However, as it proceeds it becomes more boring and draining, especially after AR 50. More further, we can easily say that there is almost nothing to do after AR 55.

    A few years ago i heard about Genshin Impact but at the first glance i wasn't interested in it because as far as i understood it was a Single Player MMO or something what i have found weird.
    Last week it got my attention again and following the quote "The taste comes with eating" i gave it a shot.

    The intro starts with a brother and sister who have mighty personalities but an enemy appeared. Now you can choose to be the brother or the sister. Depends on your decision you will be separated from your family and then the journey begins.

    In your journey a cute and adorable mystic girl named Paimon accompany you in order to find and save your family. In the meantime you meet many peoples and stories what give Genshin Impact a recognizable face.

    The World is quite huge and detailed. I saw two cities and especially the second city which has real asian style was very beautiful and invites you to stay there even longer. The Flora and Fauna is also well integrated into the world whereas the weather conditions have a negative impact on your health.

    I like the anime-style and the characters i just met are detailed and are irreplaceable characters

    The soundtrack is very cool and contains an asian-flair that creates a deepening and serious atmosphere in Genshin Impact. The composer really knows what he is doing. The music still is in my mind what confirms the right choice of the soundtrack.

    Right now i'm in the prologue so i can't tell too much concerning the story. What i can tell is that the family that you try to save could become your enemy. The other thing is that the enemy who appeared in the intro seems to have a personal interest in you but it is not clear what she is really up to. These elements cause question marks and that's why following the story line is motivating.

    You are in a Four-Man-Squad and you fight the battle with one person whereas you can switch easily to the other warrior. There is basic-attack, special-attack and a very special-attack but there seems to be no counter-attack. Every warrior has a different style and how to attack. It is right that you can develop your own character very very far while you can unlock certain talents. Unfortunately your character cannot learn more new attacks.
    In connection to this kind of Development and Battle-System the Gacha-System takes a huge and important place in Genshin Impact. There are many characters that you can get in the Gacha-System whereas you can another characters through certain story-lines. But i have to admit that the fighting style of the characters in the Gacha-System is more interesting and refined than the other ones you can get in the story itself. The Gacha-System offers three banners which includes 4- and 5-Stars characters. I noticed that mainly the 5-Stars characters can cause a very-special-attack with an animation while i love the animation-attacks.

    Well, now we come to an issue with what many Genshin-Warriors have a problem. In order to get these 5-Stars characters you have to spend for example about 150-200 € in one banner. You have to draw a 10x-Ticket (in Genshin Impact it is called: Prayer) about 9-10 times to get a 5-Stars Character whereas there is a high chance that you get 4-Stars Characters. We are lucky that there is a pity-system or else it would be even worse. The problem is that you can draw a character you already have. In such cases you can get an exchange. You also get other kind of coins which you can spend at the Tradesman.
    My point of view is that it is reasonable to get the necessary money so that you can finance Genshin-Impact, new projects like "Zenless Zone Zero", the company, the employees and even the cleaning ladies. Paying at maximum 50-60 € per month would be very fair but not 150-180 €. To be honest, i just checked if there is some sort of a subscription-pass like in other MMO and yes there is one. You can get a pass for about 10,99 € and you can get a subscription for 4,99 € where u can get the necessary coins day for day. This pass for about 10 € is available at Adventurer-Level 20.
    This seems to be fair but nevertheless the users are very frustrated of the Gacha-System anyway. So seeing it in a long term i cannot tell if the pass is the solution of the whole Gacha-Issue.

    It would be useful to create a subscription-pass with a price of 10 to maximum 50-60 € per month and depending how much you pay you can get more coins for buying the tickets. So it would be great that if you pay 50-60 €, you get more than 12000 crystal coins for drawing the 10xTickets. I think this kind of concept could lower the frustration-grade of the Genshin-Warrior.

While on the surface that isn't saying all that much, Genshin Impact's core is a very strong Breath of the Wild clone with a substantial combat system and a gorgeous aesthetic. Furthermore, you can put a number of hours into the game before ever feeling the need to spend a cent. It's a shame thenGenshin Impact has the dubious honor of being the best free-to-play gatcha game ever made. While on the surface that isn't saying all that much, Genshin Impact's core is a very strong Breath of the Wild clone with a substantial combat system and a gorgeous aesthetic. Furthermore, you can put a number of hours into the game before ever feeling the need to spend a cent. It's a shame then that its nature as a gatcha game only allows it to go so far, as the game does wear out its welcome over time.

    One can only hope that if Genshin Impact 2 ever becomes a thing that it will drop the gatcha mechanics and flesh out its story, because there are the bones of a really good action/adventure game here.    … Expand

    Rather than a typical online game, Genshin Impact resembles a traditional single-player jRPG with a real-time combat. For a free-to-play title it is very impressive, but turns out to be pretty derivative and quickly slumps into monotony. [13/2020, p.52]

    Oh, the joy of exploring this beautiful world. Oh, the clever combat, the great voice acting, the compelling story. This is one of the best RPGs of the year. And it’s almost beyond comprehension that you can get it for free.

    Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
