Nov 12, 2019My friend recommend the game to me and for once I decided to take him for his word and buy the game.
In Generation Zero, I found the combat to have solid depth with the added tactical elements no fight ever feel repetitive.
There is a vast and beautiful open world to explore with a great deal of variation in the landscape.
Great game in my opinion. -

Mar 26, 2019Fantastic Atmosphere, satisfying and fun gun play, one of the best game made without a massive budget.

Mar 27, 2019I'm always searching for co-op games and I'm excited to finally play Generation Zero. Robots and mecha usually throw me off the couch, but this one is so fun.

Aug 22, 2019Great game. The only thing wrong with it was that they released it way too early. I haven't encountered any bugs because most of them have been fixed, and this game is by far NOT empty. In fact, i'd say BOTW is more empty than this. It's overall a great game, that's best played with friends, but it's still fine single player (which is what i'm playing).

Mar 27, 2019Graphics and Artstyle really do fit the 80s vibe. If you are looking fora game with quest markers and a minimap or other handholding features Gen0 might not be for you. But get 3 friends together and its gonna be an awesome coop experience where you solve mysteries, explore a beautiful landscape and fight some robots.

Sep 11, 2023I liked it,but the hitbox OF EVERYTHING is so broken, light is broken too, so many enemies when you are singleplayer(this isnt a problem, but the boring combat is)

Mar 8, 2022Nice graphic style, but absolutely stupid AI that could see and shoot you through the walls.
In coop you could connect to the other player that has opened all spots on map and use fast travel to find new areas.
Spawn spots and mechanic are broken.
Not worth it. At least now. -

May 26, 2019Three hours in, and Generation Zero is running on fumes. It will take you 30 hours to get to the end of this story, but what's the point? This game is just as dead as everyone in the alt-dimensional Sweden.

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019Generation Zero was designed with co-op in mind, but it lacks basic quality of life features, like dedicated servers, ignore list for matchmaking and even something as vital as integrated voice chat. [Issue#237, p.50]

May 2, 2019An interesting take on the post-apocalyptic genre, full of beautiful vistas and a streamlined interface, but moments of awe are punctuated with run-ins with the buggy and inconsistent AI.
