Mar 12, 2022Devs should fix their game instead of joining political flashmob. Closing purchases of your products for people of Belarus and Russia is antidemocratic and should be punished.

Mar 9, 2022Graphics look out of the arc and it doesn't run well for what it is rendering. I got bored early on shooting dog bot after dog bot. Survival and stealth mechanics formulaic. Visually, narratively, gameplay wise nothing stands out. I'ts all kind of meh.

- Gameplay
- Graphics/Artstyle
- Concept
Cons:
- Bullet sponge
- AI
- Loot
- Repetitive
Verdict:
It has potential to be a great game, but with all the tedious mechanics and bullet sponge enemies with crap loot, making the game exhausting and boring for a time. My friends can't keep on playing this game. -

Mar 26, 2019Nice graphics, but the gameplay... As if the developers did not test their open world game. Repetitive, broken AI, boring combat against bots, and most importantly: No rewarding gameplay. You literally get tons of equipment and items very early. Random house, random loot, random quest, random enemy. It is worth $5 perhaps, unfortunately.

Apr 9, 2019With Generation Zero, Avalanche tried to build an enormous playground (as they always do) but the twist? There is nothing in that playground worth playing.

May 26, 2019Three hours in, and Generation Zero is running on fumes. It will take you 30 hours to get to the end of this story, but what's the point? This game is just as dead as everyone in the alt-dimensional Sweden.

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019Generation Zero was designed with co-op in mind, but it lacks basic quality of life features, like dedicated servers, ignore list for matchmaking and even something as vital as integrated voice chat. [Issue#237, p.50]

May 2, 2019An interesting take on the post-apocalyptic genre, full of beautiful vistas and a streamlined interface, but moments of awe are punctuated with run-ins with the buggy and inconsistent AI.
