Es un gran juego, para la gente que gusta de la saga gears es mejorar todas las cosas del 4 e incluirlas en una historia más larga y más entretenida y mejor diseñada, el mundo abierto es maravilloso y cambiar de personaje fue una buena apuesta, el que el juego tenga subtitulos es algo maravilloso, sonido se intensifica y esas cosas que nadie se dió cuenta es para la gente que no puede escuchar, la optimización en 4k es maravillosa y el online es muy a gusto me gusta jugar con sarah connor en cuanto a todo un juego de 10.… Expand

    Acabo de terminar la campaña despues de haber jugado mucho al multijigador. Estoy muy contento con todo es un juego divertido y atrapante. Uno de los mejores juegos de xbox

    Curto muito todos os Gears, principalmente esse 5.
    Só não curti muito esses novos personagens.
    Espero que lancem logo a continuação.
    Joguei a versão Jack sparrow e nao recomendo, tem alguns bugs chatos.

    it doesnt need Ray Tracing to stand out amongst the crowd as the best looking UE4 title we have ever seen. Well done The Coalition.

    The story also was a surprise. I felt that Gears 4 played it safe with its story. It was not bad by any means, but it did not take any chances as it simply served as a way to introduce the new set of characters. Gears 5 takes the foundation that Gears 4 built and took it to a whole new level! There are some serious story arcs that are explored that fans have been wanting to know since the OG game and I thought they did a fantastic job with it. its gripping and you always want to get to the next level to uncover the next piece.

    The semi-open world game play was also a gamble that The Coalition took and while it is imperfect, I felt that it still pays off. It gives the world this sense of scale that Gears levels aren't typically known for. I do think that the levels are a bit empty feeling, but as a first attempt at this, I think they did a good job at rewarding exploration with looking for components for Jack.

    JACK! How could I almost forget him. He is by far the most fun game mechanic Gears has ever had and it really changes how you play the game, especially at higher difficulties. The very RPG-lite upgrades for him make it feel like you're actually progressing and building him up. I love it.

    The multiplayer is fantastic and I don't have too much to say about it. I feel its very standard for a gears game. The addition of PC & Xbox crossplay is a very welcome feature as well as now I can team up with my friends on Xbox for one seamless experience.

    This game is absolutely a step forward for the franchise and I cant wait to see how this new trilogy concludes. Kudos to the Coalition.    … Expand

    Como jugador ya veterano en la saga y habiéndome pasado todos y cada uno de los títulos tengo que decir que esté juego en especial sobretodo la historia me parece el que más innova de toda la saga.

    Quiero empezar resaltando el apartado gráfico que ya se nota que es una auténtica pasada al segundo, el esmero que ponen para cada entrega en este aspecto es un claro sobresaliente.     Como novedades destaco la libertad que te da para que explores y te invita hacerlo en cada pantalla para ir mejorando a tu acompañante Jack o encontrar los diferentes coleccionables, o enemigos "élites" que tienen "barra de vida" y por supuesto el semi mundo abierto.

    Jugablemente es más de lo mismo que las otras entregas y no me quejo, si que en el online noté que la motosierra de la Lancer estaba bastante OP, llegué a ver alguna partida de gente que solo usaba la motosierra en el online y rompe bastante el juego.

    También hay una clara mejora en el sonido en especial el ambiental.

    Si te gusta la saga te gustará a pesar de todas las cosas innovadoras, que ya veremos si se quedan o no en el próximo título de la campaña, te deja con ganas de más y eso ya habla muy bien de este juego.    … Expand

    Mantiene, a mi parecer, los mismos "defectos" de esta IP como son:
    - Pasa por la historia de forma superficial( Creo que este universo tiene un "lore" tremendo muy desaprovechado). Me hubiera encantado saber más de Kate (y su relación con el enjambre) y sobre todo de JD y su cambio de personalidad.
    - Lo injustificado de ciertas situaciones( El problema no es estar toda la partida de tiroteo en tiroteo porque son geniales, el problema es la (no) justificación de estar permanentemente haciendo frente a oleadas de enemigos.). Si bien es cierto que en los capítulos 2 y 3 con escenarios más abiertos esto está más acotado.

    Un juego tremendo, muy bien llevado y muy entretenido. Recomendado para pasar buenos ratos, disfrutar de su espectacularidad y no calentarse mucho la cabeza.    … Expand

    Gears 5 is the representation of Unreal Engine 4 must be used and his best potential. The graphic is so well done and in my opinion, it can be put at the same level as Death Stranding or Red Dead Redemption 2.
    The story is not what gears players are really looking for when playing this saga but in this chapter, some of the main mysteries of planet Sera are finally coming to the light and    Gears 5 is the representation of Unreal Engine 4 must be used and his best potential. The graphic is so well done and in my opinion, it can be put at the same level as Death Stranding or Red Dead Redemption 2.
    The story is not what gears players are really looking for when playing this saga but in this chapter, some of the main mysteries of planet Sera are finally coming to the light and this is what we were waiting for since Gears 3.
    The gameplay is the same as all previous games. Few new weapons had been added and few have been removed. The new feature in the gameplay is the possibility of control Jack (the robot) during battle and exploration. It can grab for you items located in unreachable places, bring weapons to you, take control of IT systems and even use new defensive and offensive skills; useful during battle.

    Gears 5 is the same gears as always? Yes but improved in all of his aspects and with stunning graphics. And it finally fixes plot holes.

    I didn't like the previous chapter, will I like this one? Probably no, the gameplay is so particular and if you don't like it then you can't appreciate the game.    … Expand

    Don't listen to others review.
    I have NO crash, except only one time monitor black'ed out when with playing co-op campaign with friends. my rigs are 9600kf(4.8Ghz) with sapphire 5700xt.
    Even playing with supersampling enabled on 1k monitors with 2k resolution, no stuttering at all. Great optimization.
    Story and game plays are very enjoyable.
    Looking forward next sequel game..

    Depois de terminar no xone S fui jogar no pc a campanha a 60fps e que maravilha o jogo fica ainda melhor, o melhor gears já feito e pra mim ensinou a 343 industries como fazer um jogo bom.

    Gostei, do gears dos atuais ele é o melhor, eles tentaram inovar a franquia trazendo elementos de rpg e até que funcionou bem, hypado para o futuro de gears

I found the story exciting and interesting, especially the choice at the end of the game, when you play as Kait and choose who you want to save! For the first time in the series added some open world, which can not but rejoice. The graphics are just perfect! Online made very cool, you can probably play it for months. But, of course, there are also disadvantages. The game does not progress in any way. Constant rifts, shelters, from part to part... I want something new.… Expand

    Amazing! The new elements make the experience much richer and more interesting. The best of all so far. Great mechanics, combat got much better and the story got deeper and deeper.

    Muy sorprendido después de haber jugado el 4 (que fue un a menos de la franquicia). Esta quinta parte retoma muchísimo de la anterior trilogía, espectacularidad, buenos gráficos, guión a la altura (con una gran narrativa), ritmo frenético, grandes combates y una jugabilidad muy depurada, la verdad es que si The Coallition sigue por este camino le esperan muy buenas entregas a laMuy sorprendido después de haber jugado el 4 (que fue un a menos de la franquicia). Esta quinta parte retoma muchísimo de la anterior trilogía, espectacularidad, buenos gráficos, guión a la altura (con una gran narrativa), ritmo frenético, grandes combates y una jugabilidad muy depurada, la verdad es que si The Coallition sigue por este camino le esperan muy buenas entregas a la franquicia. Solo por poner dos puntos negativos estos serian 1) IA mejorable, especialmente en los aliados que van bastante a lo CoD, están hay para dar vida al guión pero en combate solo sirven para estorbar y pronunciar frases o advertencias obvias y 2) el juego se queda a mitad de la historia, esto no es del todo malo en mi opinión porque al menos no es como la historia del 4, que básicamente no entiendes que fue lo que quisieron mostrar (casi nada), pero si te deja con muchas ganas de más al finalizar la campaña y un deseo un poco insatisfecho de terminar y dar un cierre. Un juego que en mi opinión esta a la altura del 3 pero todavía no llega al 2 por lo anteriormente mencionado.… Expand

    I'm having fun playing the campaign for the fifth installment of the game. So far I have been playing solo and it is still good. The story is interesting and Jack the drone is awesome as a support character. Its fun to find items to upgrade Jack. Though your AI friends are kinda dumb at certain point when I'm in pinch. The open space area was ok. Kinda balance between open space and closeI'm having fun playing the campaign for the fifth installment of the game. So far I have been playing solo and it is still good. Когда прошел финальный боссфайт я думал, что игра пойдет дальше, но оказалось это финал, как-то неожиданно сюжет обрубили. Очевидно, что это жирнючий намек на продолжение, но могли бы как-то поизящнейПоставил 8, но реальная оценка игре 7.5/10.     I'm still not sure why this game is not more revered as the technical masterpiece that it is, provided you have a decent PC, this game's photorealistic graphics is well above any other game in this era and this can be rightfully claimed as "next-gen".

    It has one of the best coop campaigns I've played so far and single-handedly made me and my friend a fan of the gears series. Has some    I'm still not sure why this game is not more revered as the technical masterpiece that it is, provided you have a decent PC, this game's photorealistic graphics is well above any other game in this era and this can be rightfully claimed as "next-gen".

    It has one of the best coop campaigns I've played so far and single-handedly made me and my friend a fan of the gears series.

    Has some issues with bugs from porting it out of the Xbox i guess but it was never game-breaking for either of us. Hopefully they can sort out those issues and more people will take notice of Gears 6    … Expand

    O jogo é muito bom, mas peça em pequenos detalhes, tem tudo para ser o melhor jogo da franquia mas mesmo assim, não conseguiu ser melhor que o gears 3 mesmo sendo mais completo.

    Jogo muito bom graficamente e a história agrada, porém em certos momentos do jogo ele se perde, mas consegue se encontrar, mas realmente poderia ser um jogo melhor.     I really enjoyed it. Despite my RTX 2080 never reached the 20% mark, while my CPU was above 90%. Hope Gears 5 will use them both to the limit and deliver even more details.

    Campanha bem legal, com ótimo combate. A Kate é uma excelente personagem, pena que está rodeada de outros não tão interessantes. As fases são bem legais, compensa a parte mundo aberto, que já é bem desinteressante.
    Joguei pouco o multiplayer, então não considerei.

    Cool Game! Love the Campaign and adore the nee old Multiplayer modes! Runs super smooth on my PC and never had any issues except some small connection issues here and there.
    This game is gorgeous I mean the story mode is just perfect one of the best looking games of this generation.
    Playable game .generally i recommend that . it worth the sho.

    Best XBOX first party in the whole 8th generation. That is not too good, if I'm being honest, but Gears 5 itself is a great game. I really hope that Gears 6 can improve what we saw here as much as Gears 5 improved on Gears 4.

    Great plot. A fun co-op, with moments, plot and gameplay different for different players. Very "console" gameplay, which is good. Attention to detail! Just a very high quality and enjoyable game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I must admit, when this game released in 2019 I slept on it. After gears 4 I wasn't really as interested in Gears as I had been during the original Trilogy. After playing it again in 2023 here are my takes:

    Pros:

    - The campaign is structured well. You begin act one in a linear classic Gears style following mission objectives. Act 2 onwards turns into a semi-open world adventure but keeps the main story linear and it still feels like gears of war.

    - The camera and model sizes of both you and enemies are scaled much better than they were in Gears 4. Everything feels bigger.

    - The story directly follows Gears 4's ending.

    - Horde mode has had a massive rework, it adds locust, lambent and swarm to the enemy pools and gives us plenty of classes and subclasses to work with.

    - Versus is still as clean as an arena-shooter can be, it leaves behind the arcade-y gnasher brawl for a more grounded and strategized game, with plenty of game modes.

    Cons:

    - The amount of additions to horde mode can feel somewhat overwhelming. The cards, map layouts, defences, enemy types, round modifiers, round objectives, classes and scoring can all become a bit confusing to a newer player.

    - The choice towards the end of Act 4 feels a bit redundant as it's clear one decision will be cannon with the release of a sequel. This also takes away from the choice in the first place. I'd rather they just made a choice of who to kill and went with it rather than have us choose.

    - The 'escape' game mode seems to get rather stale quickly. Once you've done it once it's more or less the exact same. it's a good concept but hasn't been built on enough for variation.    … Expand

    This game is a step back from Gears 4, I know most people say Gears 4 is worse but I disagree, while some scene does look good here, the story is a bit of a mess.
