A great, sometimes creepy and disturbing experience, set in a dystopian Blade Runner-ish universe. The fact that it runs on a now 16 years old Source Engine is surprisingly a benefit. It adds to the unsettling atmosphere set by the game.

Unfortunately, not all is fine in G String. Some level-design choices are somewhat questionable. I have found myself stuck in places, which I later found out to not be the places i was supposed to be in to progress. It's not always obvious, when I am supposed to back-track and when I'm not. Other than that $18 is i feel to high of a price for a game not quite the scope of Black Mesa. It's just too high, considering G String started out as a mod.
Overall, if you can overlook the minor drawbacks the game comes with, you will have a good time. As I said before, the atmosphere is fantastic. Now because i want to see more done with the game, I am giving it a hopeful 8. There is a huge potential here.
