With the exception of ranked play, it has everything it needs for the early running. For what we played and how much fun we had, we hope it’s an experience that only continues to grow.

An original and deep game of strategic online warfare that brings your sci-fi capital ship fantasies to life.

An excellent space combat game that is hamstrung by a lack of maps.

It might not become the next eSports craze, but Fractured Space does manage to provide a zen experience that is so often absent from the multiplayer games.

Fractured Space is a very fine effort in offering an original approach to moba gameplay; rich in strategy and tactics and wonderful in its aesthetics, it is definitely worth a try for the genre’s enthusiasts and beyond.

A great spaceship combat game which feels like a slower, more meaningful MOBA.

Considering that Fractured Space is a free-to-play MOBA, there’s a great strategy involved, providing some really tense firefights on the battlefield.

If you love big ships moving and battling in outer space, Fractured Space is probably the game that you were waiting for.

Visually the game looks fantastic, with each ship showcasing a remarkable amount of detail as they majestically glide across attractive landscapes. Sadly, progression currently feels quite slow and this, combined with the lack of active players could deter those that have recently joined from sticking around. Although the game has the potential to be really fun for a group to play, I didn’t have as much fun as I had hoped and I have no inclination to continue playing on my own. Nonetheless, if you have some time, a lot of patience and a few friends, Fractured Space is well worth a try.

Edge Case Games has created something pretty unique with Fractured Space while using a well known game design. The attention to detail in the strategic system and graphical presentation heightens the overall experience.

  1. A MOBA in a non-cutesy, non-fantasy setting, with just enough respect for the genre’s tradition while having the courage to keep things slow, uncomplicated and strategic. Here’s that slap on the back, space videogame. You deserve it.

A tactical 5v5 capital ship space game. What's not to like with this level of polish.

Upon release we are greeted with a game fit to take e-sports into the next decade. It comes replete with a vast array of ships, each unique and easy to pick up but difficult to truly master. At first the games main mode conquest strikes you as shallow and throw away but after a few games it opens up to reveal itself. It is one of those rare things in the MOBA field a game that at its core is immensely deep, tactical and values skill and team work over all else. It also destroys the notion of kill stealing as any one who does 20% damage to an enemy is awarded a take down or kill. Graphically stunning in HD with Smooth controls to boot. It gives the sensation of captaining a Battlestar Galactica size ship for free, Yes free so there is no excuse not to try it. When leagues and clans arrive shortly the game will be we positioned to challenge for contention and lead us to the stars

Devs dontWell the game is out there for 2 years or more, no new ships, no big updates, and updates are so rare, that you can barely see them. Devs dont care about how awasome game is, they are like: go child we dont care what will be with you. And NO RANKED. In moba. No ranked. I went on the forums wondering why, and devs said there "we have no ranked cuz we have not anough players", you know why there is no players? cuz there is no point to play the game, nothing happens there, moba genre is so good and popular becuz every match is different, but not here. Devs killed such an awasome idea, its sad. Devs? Hello. We are here. We are fans of your game, but not your actions. We are not stupid as you think. We see what you are doing. Nothing. You are lazy and pathetic. I quit glhf. Full Review »
