    Amazing game I start just driving around and then look at the time and its 2 hours later and i never even started a race. I did encounter 1 crash in my 30 hours . The map is amazing it seems to have more diverse locations than all the previous horizon games combined.     The first time I have to give Forza a bad review. Let me get straight to the point: I played a bit of it on Game Pass and...Its the same game as Forza Horizon 4 but with a new map. I heard that the exact same technical issues on the Steam version of FH4 are still persisting on the Steam version of FH5. After playing a bit of it, its the same song and dance of cringe of past games, there isThe first time I have to give Forza a bad review. I heard that the exact same technical issues on the Steam version of FH4 are still persisting on the Steam version of FH5. After playing a bit of it, its the same song and dance of cringe of past games, there is the exact same graphics (outside of the showroom anyway) and I worry the progression, or lack thereof, will be the equivalent in being in the audience during the recording of another season of the Oprah Winfrey Show, like past games have been. I am not able to get the game post-launch, and I may not anyway, giving the way Turn 10 and Playground have given the finger to the basic concept of sense of progression on Motorsport 7 and Horizon 4. When I play a racing game, I expect a "from rags to riches" type of sense of progression; to play hard to earn the best cars; not log into the game and checking mail for them.

    If you are progression minded like myself, just wait for Test Drive: Solar Crown and hope KT Racing doesnt go down that same path.    … Expand

Но вот у меня она тоже работает но НЕ всегда... с разницей запуска в час то 150 кадров то 50 https://imgur.com/a/4abyz6x . Сменю оценку как поправят оптимизациюВсе хорошо в етой игре.     Una vergüenza cómo han lanzado este juego.
    Hay que hacer malavares para poder utilizar el volante (Fanatec DD1) en el juego, y cuando lo consigues, ni el Force Feedback ni los LEDS del volante funcionan.

    Playing on PC, just hit 30 hours of game and so far haven’t experienced any crashes or other problems like this, the game is very well optimized for PC and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

    If you consider yourself to be a hip and/or woke "broh" looking for a game in which you can drive cars from point A to point B without even having to look at the road and just smashing trough everything, definitely buy this game. You’ll be gratified.

    I do have a few issues with the game however. It is incredibly unclear how the tuning works and it is not very well explained, it's actually not remotely explained. When I put on the slick racing tires that give me the best stats it tells me on my cars stats preview that I have off-road tires on even though the tires image shows a completely smooth surface. So it doesn't seem to know which tires are which. My racing game history is really mostly arcade racing games so I find that turning in this game is incredibly infuriating. I know that is most likely a personal issue and I need to figure out the driving mechanics work in this game. It would be really helpful if I felt like the handling and braking stats helped even 1% but I really dont think they do. Every adjustment I make to my car feels the same, which is it takes 30 seconds to fully stop my car and even a slight turn causes me to either completely lose control of my vehicle for the next minute or I literally can't turn at all and I just go flying into a field way off the race course. I slow down before turning, I use wide angles, and yet I still go flying out into Narnia while every other car stays on the road. Maybe I am using the wrong type of car for the wrong terrain, but the game does a very poor job of explaining this as well. So, in summary, I think the car handling is very bad in this game. It feels too punishing.

    My other issue is that while the open world is pretty, it lacks any kind of personality or structure. It is just "go here and do this race, now go here and do this race, and now go here and do this race" and the open world functions as a means to get from each race instead of just a menu allowing you to select the races. I do not see a point in an open world racing game like this and not use that open world setting with an open world structure. For example: Need for Speed UG2. This game has an open world, and has different shops with interesting NPCs you can go to to buy upgrades for your vehicle. There is a story, and the world unlocks slowly as you progress through it. Making you feel rewarded for completing that part of the game and looking forward to moving on to the next area. With that new area comes a new set of NPCs and shops to unlock new upgrades. This progression loop is one example of how to use an Open World. But this game doesn't do any of that. It feels like empty space you need to traverse through to get to the next race. A simple menu to select the races you want to do would have sufficed and have been better game design.

    I recently played the 2012 version of NFS Most Wanted. That game is nearly a decade old and it has better graphics than this game. It's not about the Ray Traced cars, or the amount of foliage for me. 2012 Most Wanted simply had cleaner graphics and there was no random pop-in or missing textures. I was never once drawn to an object because of a glaring lack of detail in MW, and it was installed on a basic 7000 rpm hard drive. It simply just was and nothing about it was odd or distracting. Forza Horizon 5, installed on to a blistering fast M.2 SSD, has absurd pop-in of textures on almost every object all the time. And that makes it a much uglier game.

    Forza is one of my all-time favorite series. I've bought Xbox one just for this one game, having ps4 and Pc for other games. I have perfect 4k gameplay in FH4 but I can't even play FH5 without problems.
    "0" is for the technical level of the game for PC. It's the first thing the game should have. Fix it and I will see what we have later.

    By the way. Physics became worse for my taste.

    Extremely easy, very similar quests, no ranked adventure. High price tag if buying premium. For sure not worth it. Basically it is just a "Forza Horizon 4 reforged" where graphic is a little better, but with less things to do and no challenge. You can most likely reverse trough drift zones and get 3 stars. VERY long loading times. If you like drift then this game will not be the one to go for.

    Constantly crashing on PC and contains unskippable cutscenes. Instead of playing, you're effectively constantly watching the same videos over and over and waiting for the next crash.

    It really is great now that it works. Amazing feel, graphics.. the only thing I used to hate of the previous horizons was cross country - now it’s my favourite activity.

    Multiplayer is buggy, music is terrible, setting is dull, story is cringe, developers are woke. If you want to get some enjoyment out of it; think of it as a FH4 expansion, turn off the multiplayer, turn on a FH4 music playlist on youtube. And voila you got yourself a mediocre game.

Even 2008s GTA IV did the whole arcade racing gameplay far better than this, heck I'd dare say Playstation 1 games were probably better and more realistic.     this is another failure of a release amongst many that we got in the last few years, developers are getting lazy and releasing full price AAA games that are bugged and just worse versions of their prequels.

    this game is full of gimmicks but very little substance, my score is 0 because i loved FH4 and wanted more of the same, instead this is what we get, worse driving, worse (or not improved) graphics, worse performance (at least on pc), terrible AI that makes racing annoying.

Second, it feels no different than the last game, which is a GREAT thing. Forza Horizon 4 had a perfect control scheme and 5 doesn't change a single bit of it, and instead opts to refine it further. It feels more responsive and doesn't screw anything up. Graphically the game is beautiful, even when set to low you can see the depth of graphical fidelity and how much work was put into it. Although I personally would've liked a new motorsport game, I am not complaining about this. The PC version of Forza Horizon 5 is damn near perfect in my eyes, if it weren't for two things that bother me.

    For one, the game constantly has trouble starting up with me, always showing an error message that my graphics drivers are out of date - which they are anything but. I update them to the absolute latest version so all of my games run smoothly with minimal hiccups, this is the only one I've had this issue with. I also experience a strange issue where the entire license plate background shows up as black, with black letters on top of that. It shouldn't be an issue but it bothers me. But the game is mechanically, mostly visually, and generally damn near perfect. Love it.    … Expand

В мультиплеере часто встречается проблема, что другие игроки не могут выбрать другую машину отличную от хозяина лобби. В сетевой игре часто происходят дисконекты.Поиграл в игру пару дней нормально (Если не считать бесконечные проблемы с сетью), но теперь начались бесконечные вылеты игры. Также в онлайне часто встречаются невидимые машины других игроков. В мультиплеере часто встречается проблема, что другие игроки не могут выбрать другую машину отличную от хозяина лобби. В сетевой игре часто происходят дисконекты.

    I never thought this day would come but... This game is a complete freakin mess on PC. After FH4 that ran almost flawlessly for 3 straight years, on PC, this is a disaster beyond belief.

    There's just too many bugs and issues for the game to be enjoyable. It seems all the love went into the XSS/X versions of the game, while the remaining platforms were completely **** on big time. From    I never thought this day would come but... This game is a complete freakin mess on PC. After FH4 that ran almost flawlessly for 3 straight years, on PC, this is a disaster beyond belief.

    There's just too many bugs and issues for the game to be enjoyable. It seems all the love went into the XSS/X versions of the game, while the remaining platforms were completely **** on big time. From performance degradation due to memory leak issues to stutter, low streaming bandwidth errors, bad LODs, broken graphics settings, swapped engine sounds between cars, floating cars in specific cutscenes, graphical corruption on roads for no reason, you name it!

    I've played it for less than a week and called it a day because of how bad it is atm. I've been playing FH4 because, sadly it looks and runs miles better than FH5 at this very moment. And it's not like I can get a refund now. I've pre-ordered it through the Microsoft Store with wallet credits because I trusted them. Never in my life I expected such a rushed port from Playground Games. I'm super sad with all this. I was super hyped ever since Jeff Grubb leaked it and this is what I got. I even upgraded my GPU mostly because of this game...

    And what's even worse is that the game came out officially on the 9th and there's hasn't been a single patch nor hotfix yet.

    I do not recommend this game on PC right now. Wait for patches to come. Till then, don't do it!    … Expand

Сейчас они чинят одни косяки, всплывают абсолютно другие. От игры получить удовольствие сегодня достаточно сложно.     A must have, if you've never played Forza Horizon before and cars appeal to you. But if you aren't new to the series, the whole thing will be a massive deja vu that feels rather like a very big addon than an actual sequel.
    To me, who started with FH3, it is enjoyable-ish, but next time the trick will definitely not work out. Playground Games should really work on novelizing in the core    A must have, if you've never played Forza Horizon before and cars appeal to you. Boring gameplay...just more of the same. Feels like the gamr is meant to be played with all the assist on. Gg bb

Спасибо Microsoft за безупречную игру!Лучшая аркадная гонка в истории человечества! Роскошный открытый мир, реалистичная графика, извилистые трассы, интересные миссии, умопомрачительный саундтрек...     Para um lançamento, está nota 10, sem bus para mim, rodou no meu velho guerreiro AMD 970 de 2010 junto com uma RX 580, a 40 FPS e em multimonitor 3 telas 5760x1080, incrível. Parabéns Microsoft.

    очень много багов на релизе, некоторые портят удовольствие от игры очень сильно
    но в целом кататься все равно приятно, когда все пофиксят, отбалансят некоторые геймплейные механики и добавят длсс, можно будет поставить 8, а если вас не смущает современная тенденция делать игры молодёжными клоунскими и веселыми , то все 9 или даже    эта игра точно не 10/10, сеттинг не дотягивает до 4 части

    In general, the game is quite interesting if you have not played the previous part
    I was very pleased with the physics of cars as they drive on different terrain and surfaces but the trouble with the gameplay, unfortunately, I did not see almost anything new, this is the same Forza, with new graphics and physics, the rest at the same level is not worth the    2 Review for 1 day record,

    Trying to play forza with controller? Well sorry to say it won't work. To test I played forza 4 again and worked fine. It's absolutely poorly optimized with no signs of any patches or hot fixes. From the reviews it seems like people played a car game for the first time in their lives. I cannot be the only one who is experiencing these issues.

    Beautiful! Well optimized, and awesome gameplay and design. Only thing that needs work is the netcode / servers which disconnect quite a lot. Also, the fact you can't mute other players preventing this from being a 10 score, nothing worse than hearing a whiney kids drill music while shouting at his mom about his dinner.

My issue stems from the lack of new content compared to Forza Horizon 4. The whole tier leveling up system is gone, but it is just replaced with accolades. Twenty in a game that launched with over 500 is extremely sad. There are outdated models of cars that could be easily replaced. Audi and Volkswagen in particular suffer from this. The 2020 Volkswagen Golf was made in Mexico and could have easily replaced the 2014 Golf, but they decided to keep the 2014 version instead. The Vocho is the wrong model. It is not the beloved model found in Mexico but rather the older European model. Speaking of which, the license plates are the license plates from the UK. Why do all of the cars in Mexico have UK plates. Clothing seems to still be abundant as well as other cosmetics like emotes. Luckily they aren't as intrusive as in Horizon 4. There is no way to tell how much cash you won after a race. You will have to get back to the main map and hope to get the glimpse of it fast before it disappears. At least the engine sounds are fixed and tire smoke is good enough.… Expand

    Forza Horizon 5 is a good game. It's possibly the best open-world game. It has a great selection of cars, a huge world, tons of things to do (maybe too many things, since it feels like the game is telling me something new I should do after every race, when all I really want to do is race), and it's absolutely beautiful.

    But the problem is that even the best open-world game is still an open-world game. This means that you'll spend half of your playtime driving to a race, instead of racing. It means that all the races feel kind of samey, because they were put into an existing world, instead of each being designed from scratch. It means that you have to learn a weird user interface where you can't just buy the cars you want, but have to find them in a barn first, or have to win them in some kind of lottery, or participate in an online auction, or do some other odd thing that has nothing to do with racing. It also means that this game feels exactly like the last one. I was looking forward to the Mexico setting, but the reality is that when I'm in a Dirt race in some backwater forest, it looks and feels and sounds and plays exactly like Horizon 4.

    The longer I play this game, the more it makes me appreciate games like Dirt 5 or Motorstorm, or the old Burnout games, or Wreckfest. Games that cut out all the open-world rigmarole, and just focus on the actual racing, and on amazing tracks that are fun to race.    … Expand

    I have been playing this game almost nonstop since early access and have almost 100 hours in game. I am really enjoying the experience and the map is absolutely gorgeous! There are a lot of people who say it's just a reskin of Horizon 4 but I must disagree. They improved a lot of stuff that you will not see till you do online or actually explore.     Horrible game. If you get around the technical issues the game has and you can actually play, its a totally bland experience. If you know how FH4 played, you will get nothing new for your money. A new map and shiny reflections with lens flares is what you get.

Anyways it's not the endof the world, because those problems are fixable/will be fixed soon enough. Anyways of you are on the fence of getting or getting the game pass for it, do it.     The car collection is probably the best lineup a racing game has ever had at launch, in terms of quality of car models/sounds/variety. It would be nice to see some franchise favourites return, but for now there's more than enough stuff to mess around with. Sound and visual mods are both significantly better than past entries.

    Story missions are slightly better than FH4, in my opinion, although dialogue is still a boilerplate campfest. The protagonist speaks this time around, which makes cutscenes slightly less awkward to me, but it's still pretty cringey. But hey, I'm not playing Forza for the character development.

    The map is huge, gorgeous, and varied. Lots of super enjoyable roads and scenery to explore. It definitely feels like it'll be a couple of months before I'm really familiar with every twist and turn.

    There have been a few minor glitches for me. Exhaust sounds don't always work right in the tuning menu, I still haven't gotten my loyalty car from FH4, even though I've played for several hours by now, and the game has crashed on me at least a couple of times. Nothing too major or game-breaking, though.

    Overall, this feels like a nice progression from the already excellent FH4. It doesn't feel like a reinvention, but many of the less polished aspects of the previous game are much improved, and it definitely leads to a game that feels bigger and better than it's predecessor.    … Expand

    Forza horizon 5 has great optimization on all platforms . FH5 has lots of beautiful places and graphic and sound quality are super realistic but Forza horizon 5 on pc has few bugs but its ok for me

    El mapa no carga bien en ocasiones, no desaparece el puntero del mouse al conectar un mando o volante, seguido sale el mensaje que se perdió la conexión, falla en la calidad de streaming por el disco duro, misiones de saltos acrobáticos no las da por terminadas hasta que reinicias el juego.

    On one hand, I get that it's a way to validate the open world of the game, since without them, you'd basically just be roaming around an empty world going from event to event, but on the other hand, a lot of them are a real pain in the ass getting to.
    I think that 4 Forza is better than this edition.

    Pretty much just Forza Horizon 4 but everything is slightly better. The new map is detailed and has a lot of good roads, the gameplay was slightly tweaked and is more customisable, and the graphics are just phenomenal. But there is one issue, that being the system requirements. If you don't have a powerful PC, just don't even bother. 8/10

Vi algumas pessoas tentando diminuir o jogo por causa disso e falando que não dava para jogar kk. Mano não tem como dar nota baixa para esse jogo pois Forza criou um novo patamar de jogo de corrida tento que hojeCara o jogo é ótimo ! Melhor Forza que já joguei na minha vida.     If you don't try to ruin it on a potato and you can get over the fact that it's not a PS5 game then it's fantastic. It does take a modern pc to run it properly, but if you do it's fine. I've certainly had the disconnection issues but nothing else wrong with it (apart from text2speech randomly turning on at one stage)

    The game itself should be amazing but the constant crashes make it infuriating to play at times. Incredibly disappointing that it seems cars are not even upgradable on PC, as it crashes every time I attempt to change tires.

    - for some reason every time game updates, or you update GPU driver it performse calibration for your HW and it takes minutes

    Absolutely amazing game! The gameplay in general is amazing, the graphic quality is awesome, no race game get even close to Forza Horizon 5, I play with gamepass in both Xbox Series S | X, no doubt one of the best racing games of all time.

    For me, the BEST OpenWorld Racer !! FH4 is almost similar good...but just almost. If you love to drive and hang around with your buddies in a WONDERFUL crafted world -> you probably won't regret it.

    Bringing in some actual review instead of review bombing: I didn't thought that FH4 had so much space for improvement, but looks like it did! FH5 brings in a big, diverse map, improved gameplay on cars, improved graphics, new ways to unlock stuff (aka - more stuff to do) and some new things to do. I mean, for your first playthrough, it's a racing game I'd recommend 100%.

Or that the developer usually takes a long time to fix this stuff.

    This is the best racing game I have played to date, even after completing the campaign I find myself opening up Forza a lot. The gameplay is really good and overall it is a fun game. The graphics and the environment are absolutely amazing. Forza is a good and fun game and I recommend everyone play it.

    In many games, after completing the right part of the game, there is a moment when the most interesting is definitely behind us and the boring, repetitive maxing out of the rest remains. This is how I felt from the beginning.

    Old game, new map.
    It looks more like big DLC to the previous game than a new game. We have a new, large, moderately interesting map.
    The same flaws and a few new ones, I could whack here copy/paste FH4 review:
    - Pathetic dialogues/storyline.
    - Still incredibly enjoyable and very engaging driving model.
    - Unsatisfying AI of opponents, emotions are only when racing with players.
    - Very good graphics.
    - Lots of everything, but everything underdeveloped - perfectionist hell.

    Numerous bugs, cheats and problems.
    All top rankings sucks - racing in less than 1 second, jumps over 15k km, drifts on millions of points.
    They won't change that, but they are happy to ban car paintings that might not be suitable for 3-year-olds (the game is PEGI 3+).
    There are no rankings.

    You can't run a game without removing many antiviruses - disabling them and adding exceptions is usually not enough.
    From time to time, the game itself tries to change the graphics settings - it sets me a lock at 20 frames/s...

    "Witaj Supergwiazdo! Oto Twoje super fury!"
    W wielu grach, po przejściu właściwej części gry, jest taki moment, gdy najciekawsze zdecydowanie za nami i zostaje nudnawe, powtarzalne wymaksowanie reszty. Tu tak czułem się od początku. W dodatku jakbym to wszystko już wszystko widział i kiedyś przeszedł.
    Szkoda życia na takie zapychacze czasu.

    Stara gra, nowa mapa.
    Przypomina bardziej dodatek do poprzedniej części niż nową grę. Mamy tu nową, dużą, średnio ciekawą mapę.
    Te same niedoróbki i kilka nowych, mógłbym tu walnąć kopiuj/wklej recenzję FH4:
    - Żałosne dialogi/fabuła.
    - Nadal niesamowicie przyjemny i bardzo wciągający model jazdy.
    - Niesatysfakcjonujące AI przeciwników, emocje są tylko przy ściganiu się z graczami.
    - Bardzo dobra grafika.
    - Dużo wszystkiego, ale wszystko niedopracowane - piekło perfekcjonisty.

    Liczne błędy, cheaty i problemy.
    Wszystkie top rankingów z dupy - wyścigi w mniej niż 1 sekundę, skoki na 15 tys. km, dryfty na miliony punktów.
    Tego nie zmienią, ale za to chętnie dają bany za malowania samochodów, które mogłyby nie nadawać się dla 3-latków (gra jest PEGI 3+).
    Brak rankedów.

    Nie można uruchomić gry bez usuwania wielu antywirusów - wyłączanie ich i dodawanie wyjątków często nie wystarczy.
    Co jakiś czas gra sama próbuje zmieniać ustawienia graficzne - w tym ustawia mi blokadę na 20 klatek/s...    … Expand

There is always some kind of crashes like no server connection or troubles with connecting with friends. This problems makes forza horizon 5 unplayable in co-op mode. So Microsoft is obligated to do sth with that stuff immediately.Game is beautiful that's for sure. There are lot of cars so you have chance to try different types of cars.     O jogo é muito bom, o mapa, jogabilidade, é tudo excelente mas como sempre há erros, e o erro é o gênero neutro, isso é um erro da língua portuguesa. Acho que a remoção melhorará a nota.

    However, if you are looking to enjoy the online racing right now that is not in a good state. Load times between races in an online session are in the order of several minutes    Good game.     However, if you are looking to enjoy the online racing right now that is not in a good state. Load times between races in an online session are in the order of several minutes which ends up meaning you spend just as much, if not more, time on loading screens as you do racing in an online event since each race is a few minutes long and so is each loading screen between the races. I really hope this can be fixed as otherwise online races are enjoyable once you're actually able to play them.

    For me the solo content is good enough to make it a worthy play, especially with it being on Xbox game pass.    … Expand

    The graphics, lighting and weather effects are some of the best we've seen in a racing game, but of course it's all about the cars. Although this is an arcade racer that does not focus on realism but rather on short and fast action, the cars behave truthfully and react differently whether you are driving on a track, on the street or off road. The controls have been kept simple, making the game accessible to just about anyone. Altogether, this makes Forza Horizon 5 the most fun racing game of the moment.

    I don't think there's a motoring enthusiast who won't be excited about Forza Horizon 5, with a slight caveat for those who have had their fill of Forza Horizon 4 and might want more of the same - though honestly, I can't imagine how the formula could be improved upon, which in the arcade driving department is bordering on perfection. It promises and delivers an incomparably customizable driving experience, with dream-cars, in breathtaking landscapes.
