I played the board game version and it was fun.
I started off with the family tutorial: fail, fail, fail, pass. The game seems very random and even if you do everything right, you need a lot of luck to succeed.
Then I played experienced and I failed I think 6 times, with the last 3 times being quite close and if the house had a few more hit points I would have succeeded. The interface

The interface is clunky. Are doors open or closed? Am I selecting this firefighter on the board or this one. It is not quick and intuitive but rather stressfully doublechecking as to not waste a move.
Throughout all of it, it was not fun. The only motivation was "I am going to beat this stupid game". There must be a sweet spot where players of average skill level can succeed X% of the time in a co-op and that percentage will make it fun. Whatever that number is, the PC version of the game has it wrong.
In my opinion, it is too difficult because there is a lot of chance that things can go very bad in a hurry, which makes it not fun to play.
    I would not reccomend it.
