    This is game is more of a challenge than the first game, there are more animatronics, zero doors and you had to wind up the music box repeatedly for five nights. Scott never disappoints us with his masterpiece. Doesn't really come off scary if you played the first game and got jumpscared a lot of times. 11+ year olds could play this game but don't force them if they don't want to.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Good properties: New things like flashlight, vents, music box, freddy mask and mini-games. These are changed the mechanics and made it more enjoyable for sure. New sounds made the ambient more terrifying. Also the map is bigger and more detailed than the first game.
    Bad properties: This game has about 10 very active animatronics, and it is really hard to beat this game. You should only wind the music box and check out hallway and vents to beat the nights after third one. The cameras are as if in vain.    … Expand

    Gráficos: 9/10
    Personagens: 10/10 (Assustadores e bem feitos)
    Gameplay: 8/10 (Gosto muito, porém as últimas noites tem uma dificuldade esagerada)
    Lore: 9/10 (Os primeiros FNaFs tem uma ótima lore)

    Minha nota final: 8.5/10
    Seria um 9 ou 9.5 se a dificuldade fosse mais balanciáda.

    FNaF 2 is the first FNaF game that I've played myself. Before this, I've watched a handful of YouTubers playing most of the FNaF games. I was originally very excited to play this after seeing many good reviews, but I didn't know what I had coming.

    - Gameplay: 7/10 Is FNaF 2 a fun game? Yes. Does it have much variety? No. Because of the very high paced nature of the game, the player    FNaF 2 is the first FNaF game that I've played myself.     - Gameplay: 7/10
    Is FNaF 2 a fun game? Yes. Does it have much variety? No. Because of the very high paced nature of the game, the player has, mostly in later nights, only time to check the cam with the music box. Because of this, the most efficient and safe way to play this game is to follow a strict pattern which involves: never changing your camera, putting on the mask directly after closing the cam and flashing the lights a couple times before repeating everything. This results in very monotone and stale gameplay at times. Another contributing factor is the little to no variation of different attacks from the animatronics. This makes it so that using your mask and flashing down the hallway are the only 2 things that really need to be done. Also, the change of power usage from FNaF one makes it so that you will almost never run out of battery, making it easier than it actually should be. Apart from this, its fast and smooth gameplay makes it very fun to play.

    - Atmosphere: 10/10
    The FNaF 2 atmosphere has almost become a meme by now. Yes, the lights are very bright in the office, but this does not take away from it's scary atmosphere. The lack of doors and the sudden scare of the animatronics being right in front of you creates an all time tense feeling. I can feel sweat rolling down my arms while playing this just because of the pure tenseness.

    - Jump-scares: 6/10
    The jump-scares and overall scariness of this game are pretty lacklustre. Do they make me jump? Yes. BUT THEY ARE SO LAZILY DONE! The images that they used for the actual jump-scare are just stale PNG's that they stretched out in size once a player dies. The jump-scares are mostly very predictable; You will always see the animatronic before they attack you (apart from foxy). Because of this and the earlier given high velocity of the game, the game will be mostly be perceived as very stressful, while not being as scary as the other FNaFs.

    - Sounddesign: 7/10
    There is not much to say about the sounddesign. Most animatronics enter through the vents, while having all the same sound. The middle sound effect is kind of scary, even tho it loses some of its power after hearing it a million times. The sound overall is scary. The noise, the laughter, the vents... all build up for even more tension.

    - Lore: 8/10
    Compared to the other FNaFs, this one once again may not be the best game lore-wise. This however does not take away from its fun mini-games and it's importance in the series's history. FNaF 2 is and will always be essential for the community.

    - Innovation: 7/10
    FNaF 2 had a lot of hype surrounding it's release, being the follow up to FNaF 1. I wholeheartedly believe that Scott made the right decision about the overall concept of the game. Even tho it's different from FNaF 1, it's still close enough so that old fans won't be scared away by the change. The only problem is, as mentioned earlier, that the addition of the music box-mechanic does more bad than good.

    - Replay-ability: 9/10
    Because of the earlier noted pattern-based approach that the developers took with FNaF 2, it makes it so that it's very challenging and fun to master. It's a game that you can always open up and play for any amount of time.

    - Price: 9/10
    You can't really ever go wrong with a game priced at €7,99.

    CONCLUSION: Even tho FNaF 2 was a little bit underwhelming for me at first but after playing it completely, I was pleasantly surprised. Even tho the game is clearly flawed and can get stale at times, you can still pick it up and have some fun with it. It's still a very worthy successor of the original.    … Expand

    Five Nights at Freddys 2 has a lot of improvements when compared to the original game, there are also a lot of down grades as well. In terms of the positives, there are better graphics, more characters, and mini games that explain the lore better. Some new mechanics such as the Freddy mask have also been added to the game which is nice. This game is harder than the first and that is fine, except the even in the first night you can die very fast. It gets so hard that most of the time you are just switching between the two vent lights, hallway lights then to the music box. You end up just doing those same actions and it gets repetitive, the horror element also isn't as present, instead relying it relies on countless jump scares. Regardless it is a fun game and it adds a lot to the lore of the franchise.… Expand

    FNAF 2 is enjoyable & teriifying at the same time.
    Watched many FNAF videos and they are still fun to watch once in a while.
    Like the 1st game, still getting bored of it soon.

    Un muy buen juego con muchas mecanicas y buena ambientacion, es un juego muy elaborado siendo considerado uno de los mejores de la franquicia, siendo un muy buen juego para pasar el rato, un estilo de juego bastante bueno, y distintos easter eggs, aunque lo eastereggs no sean tan relevantes a la hora del gameplay, y si alguien va a decir que es un juego tedioso por su dificultad y su faltaUn muy buen juego con muchas mecanicas y buena ambientacion, es un juego muy elaborado siendo considerado uno de los mejores de la franquicia, siendo un muy buen juego para pasar el rato, un estilo de juego bastante bueno, y distintos easter eggs, aunque lo eastereggs no sean tan relevantes a la hora del gameplay, y si alguien va a decir que es un juego tedioso por su dificultad y su falta de comunicacion visual, se equivoca y a la vez tiene un poco de razon.

    Ya que fnaf tiene poca comunicacion visual que es lo que hace al juego tan "tedioso", pero se le olvida que es un juego de aprender de los errores, y asi descubrir el juego por ti mismo.

    Screamers really aren't bad. I understand that you can't scare anyone like that, but the game is from 2014. Then everyone was afraid of it. The game is also challenging which makes it perfect. 10/10

    You now monitor 11 killers instead of 4, but pretty much that's it. The jumpscares give a good jump sometimes, but usually, they don't. You have to check the cameras, shine your flashlight into the hallway from time to time and if any of the animatronics is approaching the office through the ventilation or has entered your office already, you have to put on your Freddy Fazbear mask inYou now monitor 11 killers instead of 4, but pretty much that's it. The jumpscares give a good jump sometimes, but usually, they don't. You have to check the cameras, shine your flashlight into the hallway from time to time and if any of the animatronics is approaching the office through the ventilation or has entered your office already, you have to put on your Freddy Fazbear mask in order to fool them, making them leave you alone, until they come back or the clock hits 6 AM. Sounds nice. Well, it is, but...

    ...for the cameras, cool, except for the fact, that you only have to check the Prize Counter to win, making them almost pointless.

    Let me give you a small list of things that you are going to have to do to 100% win the game. So, let's begin:
    1. As the game starts, flip your camera up and wind up the music box to prevent the Marionette from leaving.
    2. Keep winding it up until you hear ventilation sounds or a "scary" sounding ambient sound. Then flip your camera down, use your flashlight to check the hallway. If you heard the ambient sound, it means that Foxy is in the hallway. Press the flashlight button for a split second to keep him at bay. Then, check the ventilation lights to check if anyone has arrived. If there's someone in the ventilation, put on your Freddy mask and wait for them to leave. If there is no threat at the moment, flip your camera up and wind up the box again.
    3. Repeat.

    Trust me, it's harder than it sounds even though your to-do list is quite empty. But I almost forgot to mention that even though my guide states 100%, your winning chances are not full 100%. Let me introduce you to your biggest enemy that you battle against through the whole thing: RNG. The Killers may be unpredictable, but sometimes, the RNG makes them enter your office faster than you can wind up the music box, making it impossible to win sometimes, because the Marionette gets you.

    The difficulty of Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is very punishing, but it is a good game. And although it is not as enjoyable as the original Five Nights at Freddy's is, it has, unlike the first game, some replayability, thanks to optional challenges unlocked upon completing the sixth night, and it also features secret minigames that sometimes appear upon death. The game still feels rushed (and it very likely is, considering the fact that it was released only 3 months after the first game), but it has new content and features some post game content. Cool while playing on docked Nintendo Switch at night though!    … Expand

    The second game in the FNaF series is a good game but design choices make it inferior to the first. First off, I feel like the game is a lot less scarier than the first. It doesn't have that same feel that the first does. The jump scares are more startling than the first though. This game was clearly not designed for higher difficulties which frustrates me to no end. Golden Freddy mode is the biggest offender of this. You can do everything perfectly and lighting fast and still lose just because the game says so. The RNG absolutely ruins the harder challenges for me. Even with my complaints I still think FNaF 2 is a good game. The game has some great character designs and the minigames add that extra bit of lore.    … Expand

    I really liked Five Nights at Freddy's because of its mechanics, the robot designs, the animations...
    But the bad thing is that the withered animatronics don't have much change than the original animatronics (apart from Bonnie).
    But you have to look at the positive art of the game like its story and the effort that Scott Cawthon put into it.
    I highly recommend this game.

    I think this game is fun, and one of my favorite FNAF games of all time. I find it very creepy, the roster of animatronics is one of my favorites as well, and it's just a good time. However, This game is good but does have flaws that make it frustrating and dull to play. First off, some animatronics requires you to put on the mask more quickly than others. Take Withered Bonnie for example,I think this game is fun, and one of my favorite FNAF games of all time. I find it very creepy, the roster of animatronics is one of my favorites as well, and it's just a good time. However, This game is good but does have flaws that make it frustrating and dull to play. First off, some animatronics requires you to put on the mask more quickly than others. Take Withered Bonnie for example, yeah he's a pain in the ass. Now what would happen is I would see him, and put up my mask, but since I was like 0.0001 seconds late, he would still get me, and It's annoying. The second is that there isn't much else to do once you beat night 6. Sure you have the custom night challenges, but most of them are hard, for reasons just stated. The only other thing you can do is hunt for lore, which I doubt unless your Mat Pat you would do that. This game can be fun, but it's flawed as hell.… Expand

    This game is designed to make you feel defenseless. There are no doors you can close, there is only a mask to put on to prevent the animatronics from getting ahead of you. It was a change of mechanics where you will feel more cornered.

    Astonishing experince, and maybe the best Horror game experince ive ever had.
    Thats starnge to see but this sequel is actually a prequel for the fisrt part of the franchise acording to the lore of the game.
    Gameplay formula is the same in some parts, theres no energy, but theres and energy level of your flashlight because theres a Foxy that needs to be blinded by the flashlight due not    Astonishing experince, and maybe the best Horror game experince ive ever had.
    Thats starnge to see but this sequel is actually a prequel for the fisrt part of the franchise acording to the lore of the game.
    Gameplay formula is the same in some parts, theres no energy, but theres and energy level of your flashlight because theres a Foxy that needs to be blinded by the flashlight due not to kill you.Also theres an original mechanic with the Pupet music box that needs to be charged because if it is not, Pupet will find you... it will kill you.
    Also the Art and atmosphere is as always magnificient.

    This is not a horror game, nothing in this game is even remotely scary which wouldn't be so much of a problem if it there was anything else good about it. this game was clearly made very quickly and i guess i can't get too mad at it because of that, (not saying that i'm giving a pass to rushed and lazy game design) This game does have a couple of redeeming qualities like    Rushed And Lazy

    FNAF 2 expands on the first game by doubling the amount of animatronics that you confront and adding the constant feeling of panic making the game's pace twice as fast as the first.

    The second entry is a worthy addition to the franchise and I enjoyed my time with this game just as much as the first.

    The second opus which is in a way improved from FNAF 1. With this time no door but a mask to protect yourself and a corridor. In FNAF 2 stress is present, at the same time it is normal there are 11 animatronics !!
    It's a good sequel that's still as good as the first game.

    This is one of Scott’s masterpieces.The game might be difficult, but you keep coming back for more.The game is totally passable, it’s not that hard.I played it on an iPad and still managed to get 3 stars.
    The game is good, and has a really good atmosphere that gives me nostalgia for some reason.
    Hopefully Security Breach will be as good or better than the original trilogy.

    This is a really good game, but it does have a pretty confusing gameplay that drags it down from being an amazing game. I highly recommend you to play it. This is another great example of how Fnaf is SO good. It may not delivered as a breathtaking experience as the first or the fourth, but it makes it really good with its scares, writing, and a great new way to tell its story.

    Ah, la noche custom y 6th que hermoso es ver s golden freddy joderte a tal punto de hacerte no querer jugar por un rato.

It is much more replayable than the first and it is just satisfying to fend off the animatronics with the mask, although... it could have used more polishing with the coding. The toy animatronics are my nemesis, as they take from 0.1 seconds to 8 seconds to go away. It is extremely annoying RNG and it really shows in later nights.     FNAF 2 improves on some things such as faster control response when flicking a light switch. This game is more intense than the first game with more animatronics coming after you and not having any doors to shut. This game isn't scary but its really intense, it'll keep you on you're toes throughout.

    The multi-tasking element here exceeds past its predecessor, a suspenseful involvement for the player. The story here is more revealed forcing players to play even farther in this game. It's scary, difficult and articulate, perfect.

    FNaF 2 is defininetly a great addition to the series. It adds much more detail into the ever expanding lore, and is very challenging to beat fully. The so called "critics" do not know what they're talking about, since FNaF is more known for its lore than it is gameplay. None the less, the game is fantastic, very challenging, very fun, and very scary.

    Explanation-If there’s any problem with FNAF it's that the phone guy did not properly explain one or two aspects. Ultimately he did a good job but I found myself confused at some points.
    Minigame-The death minigames provide like the rest of the game a creepy and authentic experience and ultimately add to the games effect.

    The problem with this sequel game is that winding that damn music box and other chores you need to accomplish gets real old after the first 3 or 4 nights. If you can get past that, this game is equally as scary and suspenseful as the first game. This one really relies on the sounds to send chills down your spine.

Luckily no scream was needed, I simply just jumped back. My hear was beating on night 2, when Foxy had arrived back from the old game and so was every challenge I could face.

    So oh-so good at this game, "JAMSpam," why is the game good? Well that's because:

    Not as good as the first. The mask only helps protect against certain characters, and again it sucks that the lights can run out of power. Also winding up the music box can easily be forgotten. I think there is just too much going on at the time however I do like that more of the story is revealed to us about the background of the pizzeria.

    When I played this game I played it on a tablet. When I played the game I played in on the Kindle fire... not HD or HDX just Kindle fire. when I was downloading the game I was thinking to myself about as soon as I download it will crash a ton like the first Five Nights at Freddy's did at the 4th night ,but I made it to the 5th night but it didn't crash I just was stuck on that night. IWhen I played this game I played it on a tablet. When I played the game I played in on the Kindle fire... not HD or HDX just Kindle fire. when I was downloading the game I was thinking to myself about as soon as I download it will crash a ton like the first Five Nights at Freddy's did at the 4th night ,but I made it to the 5th night but it didn't crash I just was stuck on that night. I thought just the background noises were scary but when a jump scare happened I literally jump into the air. So I think there are no problems when I played the game.… Expand

    wow an other game like woopty focking do! it was pretty lame and boring i hated it especially its jumpscares god it was so awful scott should still give up making these games

    Oh... my... God. The first time I played through this game, I literally sat frozen to the chair for five minutes in horror. Seriously. That's how terrifying this game is. Ignore these a**hole critics and their bulls*it reviews, for while the game may not look so great, it scares the s**t out of you.

    And if you need proof that these critics are wrong, look on youtube.Just watching it is    Oh... my... God.     Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a fantastic sequel to the original Five Nights at Freddy's. The mechanics are way more hectic and sometimes you feel hopeless when you fail to wind up the music box in time for the Marionette who ends up killing you. And for the people that say the FNAF fandom is gay, 80% of the fandom never played the game and have no idea what they are talking about.     Basically the same game as the first one, but modifications made the experience rather harmful. Sometimes you will be scared, but overall the game does not offer anything exceptional. You better play the first part again.

    The game’s downfall is the forsaking of its predecessor’s main elements of dread in favor of resorting to cheap jump-scares with the over-saturation of old animatronics and the music box preventing you from being able to change your actions more.
