I think this is one of the best games what i played this year so far. And this is garabage.
At first i was very suprised that that game made by chinese developers. At first glance it is a good quality game. But only on first glance. After beating tha game i clearly see that not a even single aspect of the game works properly.
1 There no move set list. Yeah, madness that you have to run

1 There no move set list. Yeah, madness that you have to run to checkpoint to watch a move set.
2 After certain cutscences the game teleports you to the next location. And most of the times you don't want to leave previous one due unexplored spaces.
3 During everysingle battle with big enemies character stacks in enemy model. You can't move but still take damage.
4 Consumables. There no consumables. You can't heal if it's costs half of eternity.
5 Parry. Sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't, sometimes fk you.
6 Last location is compleatly untested. And in this point i realised that dev MUST pay me to play their **** Idk how you guys make games in your china but in rest of the world we useally have a special group of employes, lets call them a "Test team". If you don't know what is it, check wiki.
7 Feels like that last location made by different team. Platforming sections is preaty unique and boss battle if **** **** Why tf the game selects fist as default weapon in beginning of the fights? I don't want to use faking fist. Just let me use my selected weapon.

What to say about good parts of the game? Well nothing. Nothing mention. Everything in this game that is not annoying is just a generic platform game components.

But yes, the other games that i played this year were garabage in comparecing with F.I.S.T.

A simple platformer with brilliant background scenery reminiscent of early Oddworld games but turned up to 2020's. I don't like this genre. But I decided to try it because I liked the picture. But the miracle did not happen - the game got bored after a couple of hours. Also ran into a few bugs.

Ein schönes anzusehende 2D-Metroidvania. Der Rollenspielanteil ist relativ "einfach" implementiert. Nichts Weltbewegendes.

Looks really pretty and voice-acting/cutscenes are great. Presentation is great. Halfway through found myself not wanting to finish though. The biggest complaint is traversal. Traversal is fun at first but the issue is the game is HUGE, and waypoints are far away from each other, with very few fast travel points.
Combat is also flawed. You learn parry abilities but they're only for

Combat is also flawed. You learn parry abilities but they're only for projectiles and you're better off just dodging since it's safer and healing is limited (so it feels pointless). You have a firearm but it shares limited charges with your healing flask (so it doesn't feel worth using). As there's more/tougher enemies you have to use longer and longer move combos because your base attacks don't get any stronger - though there's no animation cancelling or i-frames and it's easy to get stunlocked by enemies, so it gets really difficult to pull them off. The tough combat feels soulslike, but since there's also no punishment for death and checkpoints are far away, you'll just feel annoyed at the timeloss of retreading the same ground with no reward for making it back to where you were or defeating the enemy that killed you.
tl'dr fun and flashy, great presentation, but over-large map, poor supporting weaponry, and combat imperfections, kept me from wanting to finish. Good though for a few hours, if you really like that game type, or can get it for a good price

F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow Torch is a well-made, beautiful action-focused Metroidvania. The combat starts off slow but when it clicks it is excellent. The traversal and platforming are top-notch, and even though I’m not too much of a furry I grew to enjoy the characters and story quickly.

F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch may be an awkwardly named game, but it is also a solid Metroidvania title. The game may follow the genre blueprint faithfully, but the environments feel more than a series of corridors, since there are a number of open-air areas to traverse. The combat is fluid, and the movement tricks make you feel powerful very early in the game. The adventure flows by at a good pace, and the amount of secrets will keep you exploring each environment for quite some time. Genre fans and those who love a good 2D adventure will be happy with this title in their collection.

F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch is a very beautiful Metroidvania with some backtracking that won’t interfere with your exploration of the game’s story. The plot is able to easily grab and hold players’ attention without being boring. The game also features some interesting decisions when it comes to classic Metroidvania mechanics.
