    Very boring. The story isn't even there to drag you threw the gameplay loop which is mainly you walking toward your destintion while holding your map and compass and getting annoyed because the road is not ''obvious''. This gameplay loop begins IMMEDIATELY. The story consists of you talking on the walkey talkey with a very annoying feminist. I was bored out of my mind. There's noVery boring. The story isn't even there to drag you threw the gameplay loop which is mainly you walking toward your destintion while holding your map and compass and getting annoyed because the road is not ''obvious''. This gameplay loop begins IMMEDIATELY. The story consists of you talking on the walkey talkey with a very annoying feminist. I was bored out of my mind.     If you wanna play this game it is an amazing game to play but you have to be prepared to be walking endlessly.

    strengths: story, map, setting/art direction, audio and voice acting
    weak points: too many bugs, unsatisfying ending
    one of the games I loved the most, but not one of the best
    but it will stay in my heart
    probably top 5
    would recommend to anyone

    Простенькая бродилка на 4 часа за 400 грн). Графика очень приятная, хоть и в мультяшном сеттинге. Закаты можно инста ставить на обои рабочего стола. Сюжет интересный, вся эта история под соусом постоянной напряженности и нарастающей шизы от любого шороха делают свое дело.
    Уж слишком файервоч реалистичный, в плане событий и концовки

    The game makes you feel like you are there, the lingering feeling of mystery until the very end is quite amazing. Somehow i still remember how empty this game made me feel and the (somehow) feeling of wanting to touch grass.
    But that damn ending man.. it was like finding out the mystery in gravity falls, but atleast in gravity fall they had an real ending.

    The game starts with choices to be made that shine by their uselessness. Once you are dropped in the forest, things begin to be interesting. 'Firewatch' is beautiful, has a terrific atmosphere that can change as fast as the wind.
    The characters are very attractive and manage to engage in an intense relationship without even seeing each other.     The soundtrack is amazing. Special thanks to this free-roam mode at the end of the game, which allows you to play with the music you love the most (I have to go with the 'Prologue' one).
    The map is large enough to offer many different scenes and environments without being huge or boring to navigate.
    We can complain about the ending, but it feels like it was premeditated. because there are way more clues than we actually think there is. It is like the more you get into it, the more you invest yourself in the mind-blowing plot.    … Expand

You heard me there was points in this game i felt that i was being watched someone was just behind me looking to me from a near bush. Ending was the onlything that made me feel bad...     La historia es linda pero es todo muy simple, no le podes pedir mas de lo que ofrece para mi lo recomiendo igual dura 3-4horas.

    A genuinely engaging story that hooks you from beginning to end. It lacks a couple features I find would be necessary to make this a truly exceptional game, namely, the lack of any true 'gameplay' makes the game feel somewhat surface level. Regardless, I played through the entirety in one consecutive sitting, something that as a working adult I've come to appreciate. One could say it'sA genuinely engaging story that hooks you from beginning to end. It lacks a couple features I find would be necessary to make this a truly exceptional game, namely, the lack of any true 'gameplay' makes the game feel somewhat surface level. Regardless, I played through the entirety in one consecutive sitting, something that as a working adult I've come to appreciate. One could say it's simply an interactive movie, but sometimes, that's enough for me. Good story, interesting characters, and a mystery/tragedy that begs to be uncovered.… Expand

    No es cómo viviste la vida, si no las personas que conoces durante ella. Una historia de el reencuentro contigo mismo en la soledad de un inmenso bosque mientras una voz escucha tu pesar y tu le escuchas a ella. Acompañada de una historia de misterio que termina en algo simple y que fue de lo más débil de este juego. El final es algo que te desilusiona, no por que sea un mal final si noNo es cómo viviste la vida, si no las personas que conoces durante ella. Una historia de el reencuentro contigo mismo en la soledad de un inmenso bosque mientras una voz escucha tu pesar y tu le escuchas a ella. Acompañada de una historia de misterio que termina en algo simple y que fue de lo más débil de este juego. El final es algo que te desilusiona, no por que sea un mal final si no que esperas que pase algo que no termina pasando, pero la moraleja es con la que inicié esta reseña.
    Añadir la duración es corta, aproximadamente 4 o 5 horas, pero, en mi opinión, la duración justa para contar una buena historia y esta es una buena historia.    … Expand

    Very pretty game with an interesting story in a unique setting. The backtracking was annoying in parts, and sometimes a little guidance was needed. The views and atmospheric horror made up for it though!

    A short but beautiful indie game where you play as a volunteer fire watcher when suddenly a mystery arises. It's very well told and walking never felt as good. The environment is astoundingly gorgeous and it makes you want to look around every nook and cranny

    What a ride. Starts out as a peaceful walk in the woods, but that doesnt last too long before you are trying to uncover many mysteries and guess who is lying to you. Still not sure what to think of Delilah, but I love that about this game. Keeps you thinking about it, even after you shut it down for the night.

    In Firewatch you play as a man named Henry who has retreated from his messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. Perched high atop a mountain, it’s your job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe.

    Firewatch has excellent environment to explore and interesting dialogues throughout the game (Sometimes I had to stop playing and just listen to the conversation between H and D!) . Voice acting was incredible. Usually such games forces player to go from one side of the map to the other, several times to make the game's beating time longer but luckily Firewatch wasn't like that.

Voice acting was incredible. Usually such games forces player to go from one side of the map to the other, several times to make the game's beating time longer but luckily Firewatch wasn't like that.
    Story was good at first and had lots of potential to be amazing, but then it went nowhere. Not to mention unmeaningful and simple ending.
    Game gives you different choices for almost everything but has ONE ending? Pfft. (Secret ending is so dull that you can't count it as second ending!)
    Game lacks music. You can hear music at some points but that's not enough in my opinion. Such beautiful and mysterious environment needs beautiful music.
    To conclude, I had fun playing Firewatch. The game is quite different with any other games I've played; being a fire lookout and reporting stuff were fun. Maybe if the game had better story, challenging puzzles, and detailed environment, it would be one of my favorite games.

    Like most the small indie studio's greatest aspect, Firewatch's strongest point is, art design and atmosphere. Art design is simple as expected, and mostly inspired from The Long Dark. But with the great lightling and beutiful color schema , visuality is still can be felt cozy and adorable.
    Game doesn't have too much mechanics    Firewatch, is an fps adventure game by a small indie studio.
    Like most the small indie studio's greatest aspect, Firewatch's strongest point is, art design and atmosphere. Art design is simple as expected, and mostly inspired from The Long Dark. But with the great lightling and beutiful color schema , visuality is still can be felt cozy and adorable.
    Game doesn't have too much mechanics except walking. During the whole game players can do only climb some wall's and interect some objects, except for walking.
    And the animation's are satisfying and adorable. But unfortunately there is not too much animation requirement because of lack mechanics.
    And in the game design, Firewatch has lots of lacking. There is not even stamina or hunger. Firewatch's whole game design and core gameloop is walking on a point of the map. There is no extra content like coocking, wild life, some difficulties on the way etc.
    Firewatch has some levels representing on the game as days. But all the levels are takes place in the same map. And unfortunately, this map is too small and linear. Once set off the road for a task, player doesn't have to check the map often, because all the roads are just like corridors. They leading the player in only one way without any diversion or a different path.
    the game has a interesting story in the first few hours. And even in the beginning, storytelling is attracted me so deep. But near the end, i felt like writers couldn't handle climax point. and the game's second part's storty is a frustration for me.    … Expand

    Отличный визуал, один из самых выдающихся стилей на моей памяти. Хорошая озвучка. Приятный геймплей. Игра проходится быстро, на одном дыхании. Может не совсем дописанная концовка, но каждому своё.

    Firewatch is hands down the best, the most engaging first person walker I have ever played. Something doesn’t let me rate it higher though, and I guess it’s my common sense. [04/2016, p.50]

    This unconventional game combines strong story, beautiful natural surroundings and fantastically written and played characters. What it lacks in classic adventure mechanics, it makes up in great dialogue system between the main protagonists. [Issue#262]
