What is the problem? That in addition to the fact that the difficulty curve shoots up in many of these maps (in addition to not being as interesting as in Doom 1 and 2), it does not innovate or bring anything new, no enemies, no weapons, nothing! And that's a bit unfortunate, since for a game that came out in 1996 the Doom graphics engine was already getting a bit outdated, with games like Quake 1 that came out a few days after Final Doom, or Hexen that had come out 1 year ago and It is possibly the game that best exploits the capabilities of ID Tech 1, both graphically and playably.
Basically Final Doom is a paid level pack, when there are already free level packs better designed and free to download on the internet! And if i talk about the levels itself, at least Plutonia and Master Levels they were horrible designed. TNT has some decent/very good levels, but still it leaves a lot to be desired both for the time, and for the legacy of Doom 1 and 2. Only worth buy for TNT to be honest....
