    Been playing fifa for some years now but honestly, this is their worst release so far.

    Here are some of the most annoying points: 1) your defenders are ridiculously slow. There's no point of the speed/acceleration attributes as the game was created to disregard these factors when the user plays defense. When attacking, CPU defenders are faster then user strikers. Ridiculous. 2)    Been playing fifa for some years now but honestly, this is their worst release so far.

    Here are some of the most annoying points:

    1) your defenders are ridiculously slow. There's no point of the speed/acceleration attributes as the game was created to disregard these factors when the user plays defense. When attacking, CPU defenders are faster then user strikers. Ridiculous.

    2) every 50-50 ball just simply becomes CPU ball. You know what I'm talking about.

    3) Midfield is non-existing. CDMs and CMs can't play defense. They are like jogging around and they don't mark their man at all. On the other hand, CPU defense seems fair. It just simply kills the game for you to constantly switch btw your midfielders.

    4) Passing is inconsistent (to say the least)

    5) Actually it is impossible to tackle opponents (WC, legendary, ultimate difficulties). Pointless.

    6) Buggy.

    And the list goes on and on. The game and EA are outrageous.    … Expand

    The only game that rewards you for not playing the game. Any time you want to play and not let the AI do the work, will find it to your detriment.
    On a positive the SBC's and soundtrack are really good but If i wanted to listen to music or play a puzzle game i would. I want to play a good football game but cant.

    FIFA was my go to game every time i wanted to have some fun. I have played every game since FIFA 13. FIFA 21 was a decent FIFA even if it had it's problems. But this game is terrible. I literally can't get the defending in this game. Just think of this: I play vs Mbappe and he gets a run. Maguire is caught behind and there is Shaw and Varane in front of Mbappe. I press the player changeFIFA was my go to game every time i wanted to have some fun. I have played every game since FIFA 13. FIFA 21 was a decent FIFA even if it had it's problems.     Where to begin with this game. FIFA 22 did not live up to what it’s expectation. When I went to buy the game, I had already read the reviews.
    This time I did, and all I saw was 5 stars after 5 stars. “AMAZING”, “BEST FIFA EVER”. I listened to the reviews and went to my nearest GameStop and bought the game. Mind you I’m a huge soccer fan, been watching soccer since I was eight years old.    Where to begin with this game. FIFA 22 did not live up to what it’s expectation. When I went to buy the game, I had already read the reviews.

    My expectations were very high for the game. When I played it for the first time, I wanted to throw the game away. I literally wanted to throw the game in the garbage. As you can see now where I’m going with this review, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!
    As a person who loves soccer. They took almost half of the international teams. There are no teams from Asia, Africa, or central America.
    They only had 2…ONLY 2 South American teams, Argentina, and Brazil. I can’t even play as a team from Africa or Asia. When I play FIFA personally, I like to have many options when choosing teams.
    They took club leagues. Previous FIFA had more leagues to choose from. They didn’t have the Turkish league.
    They should’ve added the Ukrainian league.
    They should have added countries like Albania, Croatia, Serbia.
    What made this even more frustrating was the main menu, it was so confusing. You must go to different menus to just play a regular match. They made the whole thing so complicated.
    Don’t get me wrong there were so many positives. They had the Champions League edition. They also had the FIFA Street edition which was cool. That’s about it in terms of positives. The gameplay really didn’t change as much. Graphics same old thing. Which all made it more FRUSTATING.
    I had FIFA 18 before I bought FIFA 22. The gameplay was much easier, everything was simple. The most important thing THERE ARE MORE TEAMS TO CHOOSE FROM!!!!!
    I didn’t pay much for the game, it was on sale for $26. I will just stick to my FIFA 18, thank you for much.
    Perhaps I will play the demo for FIFA 23 instead of just buying it.    … Expand

    Если вы лет 10 не играли в серию игр фифа и решили поиграть в виртуальный футбол, то в принципе купить можно , но для тех кто играл в предыдущие части , крайне не рекомендую покупать этот шл...к. Для версии на PS5 хоть графику и геймплей улучшили, ПК геймеров продолжают кормить одной и той же игрой 6 лет.     Unlike last year's release, there aren't too many noticeable issues that need improving on either. EA have been afforded more time to get this game to where they need it to be, and they seem to have done exactly that. On the other hand though, there are still modes with untapped potential that EA have to put more focus on in order to appeal to their full market of players. It's a strong release from EA, one which will keep them at the top of the footballing sim market, but without a leading competitor to challenge them, that isn't awfully difficult.

    FIFA 22 is a slower game than FIFA 21 as a result, but that doesn’t mean it’s all about defence. There’s not a lack of goals; you just have to earn them with careful passing play and vision. Patience often seems to trump pace, which is very refreshing. I’ve muttered ‘what a ball’ more than ever this year, most often after spotting one of my wingers in space and switching it with a dreamy late lob across the pitch that leads to a dazzling equaliser.

    There are quite a few problems. Career is near unplayable thanks to loads of bugs and glitches, Ultimate Team is still a pay-to-win fest and a lot of modes are clearly less important than cash cow Ultimate Team, which is understandable, but still frustrating. You may love FUT. You may never have spent any extra money. Most players also don't. but someone is paying. That makes the game hard to grind and unenjoyable to match up with those who spend more money on their team.

    After last year's debacle, Fifa 22 is fortunately taking another step in the right direction. It's far from the level of Fifa 10 or the best parts of the previous generation. FIFA 22 has achieved a successful acceleration with its features and new dynamics. But despite all these innovations, it can barely get rid of the "same game" feeling. We're still waiting for EA to reinvent the wheel and shock us with a refreshing take on virtual football.    … Expand

    EA is such a bad company, look how they managed to screw literally every game. (Fifa, Anthem, BF2042, Mass Effect) Don't buy this game no matter what it's terrible.

    How is possible even the career mode has handicap? why? Why am i playing with barcelona and can goal a good team in champions but for some reason the Almeria, that is 16 in la liga its faster and more responsive? How everytime i have a clear shot its post?. How is it possible after buying Mbappe for 300 milion he just played 4 games and then he was injured for 7 whole months (maximumHow is possible even the career mode has handicap? why? Why am i playing with barcelona and can goal a good team in champions but for some reason the Almeria, that is 16 in la liga its faster and more responsive?     Awful developed game... game is made for kids after cheese only. No balance on skill base. They dont care about football, they just care about keep selling the same game every year... at least make it better from one year to another.

    Unbelievable. It is certain now: EA sees FIFA as an ATM. They only care about the money at the Ultimate Team. The other game modes are -especially career modes- not important for them. Artificial intelligence is gone totally. On player career, you need to deal with your teammates' ridiculous passing decisions. Your manager disrespects the players' main positions. Centre-back plays as leftUnbelievable. It is certain now: EA sees FIFA as an ATM. They only care about the money at the Ultimate Team. The other game modes are -especially career modes- not important for them. Artificial intelligence is gone totally. On player career, you need to deal with your teammates' ridiculous passing decisions. Your manager disrespects the players' main positions. Centre-back plays as left wing-back and causes lots of turnovers. Left-backs play as midfielders and can't complete even the simplest passes. I was transferred to Chelsea and other day, Bayern and RB Leipzig sent offers to me. This will be the last FIFA game that I have purchased. Sorry guys, you don't care about your old customers.     Penalties and free kicks are extremely hard cuz the cursor is always in motion. Winning the ball from opponent team is like pressing all keys in keyboard. It makes users crazy. Marking DOES NOT mean that getting behind the opposing player and chasing him. Also It is very difficult to score goals in one-on-one shots if your team is not real, psg etc..

    They have lost a lot of interesting license. And as a lot of reviews, its a copy paste game. This game was made by a big enterprise and is fill of bugs. Visuals are horrible. Do not buy this game I regret my self of buying it on steam and played a month after I buy it

    Terrible game. The defense mechanics are completely broken vs AI. If you want to casually enjoy career mode, it's not the right game for you.

    Despite its flaws FIFA 22 manages to find the balance point between simulation and fun. Although the fact some of its modes are far from perfect, it can offer the thrills that football gives to its fans, both online and locally. The much-discussed HyperMotion does its job perfectly and justifies the need for this year's edition, in contrast with previous years. If you consider yourself a football fan, there's no need to hesitate into buying this year's edition.

    After many hours spent on the next-gen version of FIFA 22 (PS5-Xbox Series) and its old-gen bent, the conclusion is there: PC, Xbox One and PS4 players will have a version with the flaws of the new generation, but cut off from its strengths.
