    The last FIFA game I played was FIFA 19, but I can honestly say this is a massive jump and overall step in the right direction.

    The real reason why FIFA 21 is great is because Career Mode got major improvements. I love it. Feels real. Gameplay is better and the game of football is always nice. Overall, this is soccer. And the experience on playing on the pitch is always a dream.

    I know that there's not much to say " oh wow that's new" but just the little tweaks especially the gameplay and the sin in career mode is a game changer. The gameplay is the perfect blend between Realistic and Arcade. The gameplay is the main reason I'm liking this fifa in fact the first fifa after fifa 15

    The only semi-automatic control of the game, the fact that in other games you can break the keyboard but here is a thoughtful game for the PC. But do switch the camera view from different angles damn it!

    Drafts is the best game mode in this game. 9/10 cause of **** cheaters.I hope Hunter`s story will return on FIFA 22.

    This game is a truly nice one, best since FIFA 17 - so many good and positive gameplay innovations all over, a lot of ways to play with friends offline and even online. But playing against the computer on competitor mode is quite challenging and annoying. Still many bugs in the menus on PC and the goalkeepers are absolute nonsense, no second man press button yet again. It does get annoying at times but it's the best football game out there considering everything and is still fun...Would recommend as a football fan but not necessarily as a gamer. The pay to win aspect online still irks me!

    And NO it is NOTHING like FIFA 20 and I played hundreds of hours of FIFA 20, 19, 18, and 17. FIFA 20 was bad. Obviously, yearly releases will be similar, but it is nothing like FIFA 20 in almost every gameplay aspect: shooting, defending, and even passing.     If you don't play FUT u shouldn't buy that cuz Fifa 20 in Ea Play u can pay 5 dollar and play instead of 60 dollar to play :)

    I continue to evaluate the game with game modes, I would start with Volta mode, this mode from last year, especially when gameplay in this mode bothers me sometimes pointless ball reflections when playing three to three 99.9% occur from players in front of the goal, but it is less consolation pitch where a smaller percentage of ball reflections occur in front of the goal. Another mode is career, a new function of instant entry into the match during the simulation has been added to it, and I like this function, and I use it a lot when playing a career. Career Mode has received improvements, but some things have been added from previous versions and then put back in 21. some of the same bugs still exist (wearing summer kits in November in PL), goal tending is bad, and the defense needs tweaking.....but I am having a load of fun with the game because this year, if you put on strict transfers, you have to work like realA fun time for me.     but FUT Mode is still a gambling cash grab. which i REFUSE to play. nothing has changed besides being able to customize your stadium. so, if that appeals to you, have at it. but EA has made it plain they will always put more into their cash cow instead of making CM what it used to be.

    all in all, it's a good time for me. it does things Fifa 20 didn't do, and the on-pitch play IMPO is somewhat better. if you get it I think you will enjoy it.    … Expand

    Mucho o nada se puede decir de esta saga, trata de innovar en modos de juego y poco o nada en su jugabilidad que todavía a día de hoy tiene mucho que mejorar para estar a la altura de los números que genera, yo como amante del modo carrera puedo decir que estoy contento con el trabajo de EA que no deja de lado a los de la vieja escuela y espero que siga siendo así.

Pour finir, je tiens à préciser que ma note ne prend pas en compte l'ultimate team que je n'aime pas, sans quoi ce serait la dégringolade. En effet c'est un gouffre à pognon pays to win, mécanisme que l'on retrouve habituellement dans un jeu gratuit, ce qui n'est pas le cas de FIFA…

    Another year, another FIFA and surprise, it's the same thing. Coming from a long time fan on the series, I keep questioning why I buy them every year. but on that note, I look forward to FIFA22 in hopes they improve Pro Clubs.

    It is like set of voleyball, online matches finish like 10-7, 6-5, 8-6. How many real football games have you watched with those scores? A game made to make you spend money if you wanna play online. Sad to see, I would never think that crappy Pes 2021 which is a remake of Pes 2020 to be much better than Fifa 21.

    Most times in gaming history the successor is much better than the predecessor, eg. DMC 5, The Witcher 3. But FIFA 20 has done a better job than FIFA 21; e.g. free kick. The only thing what is better about FIFA 21 ist the updated roster.

    With this said, it's extremely hard to play with the AI, which will never fail in pressing your players frame perfect, let alone playing online.

    Almost forgot, when the opponent does a high long pass, your players won't go for the ball, they'll either stay still or they'll keep running forward, the opposite direction of where the ball is going.

    It's still the same game as before. Minimal amount of positive changes for the price of a full game. The game is re-released every year just because of the existence of the FUT. Due to this, minimal attention is paid to all other game modes and gameplay aspects. The AI still sucks the same way. I don't recommend it.

    I feel like the PC version of this game is very rushed and badly ported. There is just something about it that makes it feel like its just generally worse than the PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Series X/S. There is of course many similarities between all the different versions.     Another thing that i have found out is that they have nerfed some players. I packed a TOTY (which is a kind of special version of a player if someone doesnt know.) Messi which sounds like he should be one of the best cards in the game. But no, a 78 CenterBack could easily catch up to him. Messi has 91 Pace on that card if i remember correctly and if you give him a chemestry style which gives him more, he technically has 99 pace, which is the most you can have in fifa. But still a centerback which has a total of 60 can run faster than him.

    There is this thing the fifa community calls scripting which sounds fake, and i find it hard to believe. But now i really feel like there something like that. Whats happening is that if someone has a "worse" team than you, they automatically has won because his/her players gets boosted for being "worse". And it really feels like that sometimes, because if i were to come up against all the highest rated players in the game, i wouldve most likely won that match easily.    … Expand

I will mention that I am genuinely enjoying a lot of the music in this year's soundtrack and the people who curate the music are the only employees I like at EA.

    Main negatives, dribbling is more loose and fun to run around with, but it is incredibly arcadey and unrealistic to a point where defending is becoming more useless and players with high dribbling look like they are bugging out.

    I really do not understand how there are objectives you can grind out for days/weeks or however long, and your reward is Tifo artwork... that's good, I don't want to improve my team to compete with credit card children, I just want my stadium to look pretty.

    Special shoutout to the FIFA Tubers who are designated "game changers" and don't do anything to help address community issues but instead come out with a video 9 days early with 120,000 FIFA points ready to entice those kids with a pack opening... you truly are a blessing to the community. Thankfully, not all of them are like this, but for those that are, you're as trash as EA.

    Oh and one more thing, this ratings commission or whatever, please remove your head from whichever orifice it may currently be stuck in... They did my boys in Munich dirty because their high school commission cannot get over the fact that they signed an exclusivity deal with Konami, yet they will continually overrate premier league players every year. This one is just my personal complaint, but it looks like the community has noticed as well. Let some other group rate the players, or poll the fans because it looks like you guys do not watch football.

    + Career mode improvements
    + Soundtrack is great, lots of unique tracks

    - Gameplay is not much different from 20 (or even back to 17)
    - Dribbling has become incredibly arcadey and laughable in precision mode
    - FUT is still pay to win (Did we expect this to change?)
    - Defending seems to be getting worse every year
    - Toxic community as per usual
    - Reward items in FUT have become more vanity-oriented (less packs, more aesthetics)
    - FIFA Tubers and Twitch streamers are useless
    - Player ratings are terrible, EPL bias is clear this year more than ever, F for Bayern fans like me

    Overall, another cash grab by EA, it would be nice if I could think of a FIFA that isn't like this, but as games move forward into more corporate-oriented directions, I don't think we'll see a good FIFA ever again, and it is kind of sad.    … Expand

I've been playing career mode since Fifa 12/13, the only positive aspect is the change of roles for players; but the gameplay is totally broken, with script and bugs. Sometimes it's unplayable, when the game decides you must lose there's nothing you can do. Unreal stuff going on, players acting like idiots, goalkeepers are basically ghosts 'cause they don't even protect the nearest post. It's unbelievable, the worst Fifa ever hands down. I'm not gonna get the 22, even if they pay me to try it.… Expand

    Few months after the release date, i am truly disappointed on what EA offers in this game which is the same thing year after year. I hoped it may change as the new generation came last month, but I red like a week ago that FIFA 21 PC will not have a next-gen update, so that's it. Expect a GAMBLING GAME with no intention to change.

    Horrible AI supporting runs, offsides on almost every play, mind numbing defensive failures and player switching that boggles. Add that to a continue arcade style of play and gooey player animations - I'll spend my money on PES.

    I like game play changes.

    But the main problem still the same - FUT pay to win. I need to play 5 hours per day to get ONE normal player after month of playing, I don't want to paid money to get - gold rare players, don't even speak about icons etc.

    Ultimate Team is the core essence of fifa. And it's incredible trash. Pay to win with senseless horrible mechanics for example instantly forfeiting a game if you alt+tab, or having to restart your game to connect a controller.

    The press conferences are so weak, same questions over and over with no variety, play football manager 21 for a game which does this kind of this properly.

    Highlighting a fixture in the calendar should show you the team position and current form.

    If you play a team in the cup it doesn’t tell you the league so you can prepare the right team for the game, instead you go through the clunky menus to try and find the right league.

    Commentary is appalling and usually they are saying completely the opposite to what’s happening, also they never carry on when they get interrupted, play god of war and take some notes on how commentary should be done!

    Scouting is really bad, they should come back with ratings like the youth team have initially 69 - 88 for example and further scouting should fine tune this number depending on your scouts.

    Teams like Accrington Stanley can play amazing football one minute and let 5 goals in the next.

    You can smash a league one teams 10 - 0 on professional but as soon as you go to world class they play like chelsea.

    All rebounds, 50 50 balls go to the cpu, in real football even Barcelona dont win all of these!

    You can get a yellow card for breathing on someone and when a CPU player full on crushes you nothing happens. Refs are awful in this game and need to be addressed.

    Every manager is one of 6 people, it isn’t hard to randomly generate 100 people when you create a new career and save this data on the PS4, seriously lazy coding.

    With FUT they need to add offline divisions back in so there is some form of progression outside of playing other people online.

    Honestly I could go on and yes the gameplay is a bit better but so was Fifa 17, with the money ea make I feel like it’s a slap in the face to gamers how little effort has gone into improving this game, I can’t see how people can be happy with it! I wish i didnt buy via digital download so i could sell it! PES next year, has to be better than this!

I installed this beginning of the month with EA Play and uninstalled it before even using my 10 hours. It’s the same game as always, defending is up to crap again, fast players just push through, slow defenders will just cause fouls. Player switching sucks so I always use manual which seems to be a bit clunky and slow - all round just a frustrating experience once again. Look at PES, at least they tell you that 2021 is an update to the previous year and comes at a reduced price...*cough cough EA*. 1 star simply because they went through the effort to rebrand the game by updating everything that said 20, to 21.… Expand

You can have Space X rocket in your FUT squad but even then 83 pace Richarlison can outrace it and score a joke. The same AI defence logic as FIFA 20, no coordination, the AI is absolutely stupid. Not one change in the gameplay in FUT in attack or defence even the goalkeepers are a joke. Lots of bugs, again an unfinished game released by EA. Every foul is a yellow card, every added time is 1 minute ingame, which is ridiculous. You can`t enjoy it at all. Although if you want to play carreer mode, you have 3 new options in the mode which will annoy you after the 2nd month of playing. So basically "great job by EA, another year no dissapointment from them, absolute quality product" with amazingly high number of flaws, i don`t know if anybody suggested we will receive something else this year.… Expand

    This game costed me 40 euros that I really regret. Look, the gameplay is terrible and heavily affected by the cpu and the script, autoblocks wont let you create a chance and play football. Mechanics are unrealistic. EA just wants you to pay more money in order to get meta players and do the obvious...enjoy the game.     Game is utter crap. They have objectives and puzzles which are nice but often they require 85 rating cards for nice rewards and they hardly ever drop. They have winnable cards that require you to win gams of fifa 21 I can't score against anyone with my 88 kane and 87 other st. I bought fifa packs a week before team of year not realising team of year was soon being new to this sought of game as i thought all cards would be in packs from start , because they are not in means they have greatly damaged the odds getting and the odds per pack are fixed in an unfair way. Example you would expect odds to increase the more you buy packs but because you open 1 at a time the percentage remains the same so its always 1% of opening a super rare thing. The odds are sqeweded stupidly and packs outrageously expensive. Packs should always contain 1 85+ player so that people can do the SBCs , Packs should be cheaper so kids with pocket money can actually get them. Promo packs and special packs should be avaliable all the time and fifa should allow players to buy coins with real money. Every single card should be given a stastical odd of being in a pack but this is not possible to do as there are too many cards which means your more likely to get low level cards. I can't win better cards, any mangerial games game is utterly crap for new players I got A in the skill things offline. Marketing System is crap and not a real way to make coins and neither is squad battles, It would be nice if you could buy a transaction card for the market place (fifa gets money) you trade one in for a card you want from another player, the transaction card becomes the amount of coins the card was listed for. All of fifas cards should be tradable no matter where you get it from , single player trading also needs to return to game so you can swap cards with friends. It would be nice to have a simulation mode to gather coins that makes you make descisions as manager for a few minutes in order to ensure wins/loses as a manger. The simulation mode should count as winning if you manage to win in order to help people earn cards that require wins. The qui is terrible You can accidentlaly spend more money when trying to bid why can't there be a button for buying out right (triangle, y) and a button to place highest bid (square) finally quick sell should be attached to something else to in case you accidetally quick sell and used your 30 day quick returns. Spent 25,000 coins or 4 pounds on a promo pack for example got me nothing but stuff below 80 , 25,000 coins is an average of 10 games per 4000 so about 40 games in squad battles for garbage. Everything about game is bad. Too many dishonable players too with slide tackles, skill move manipulation shots. To feel okay about a game I like to score just one goal but most of time the opponents will just keep slide tackling me to stop any attempt even if they are 6 above me, there is no need for unsportsmanship like conduct or the creation of a toxic enviroment. Accesability sucks as if you use it your at an even bigger disadvantage so basically being disabled is not consdiered at all. They make they system x for pass and circle for shoot but disable defensive abilites which means your worse off. Don't buy this or furture products from this series. I like the puzzles but dislike the requirements of rating, I like card packets but not if they are rigged unfairly e.g no list of every card in a pack (how can you have a percentage worked out unless every card is given a percetage value out of 100. according to google there are 16,000 different day 1 cards yet I still get mass duplicates when opening packs????. They don't tell you there are 16,000 cards , they don't tell you what cards are avalaible meaning spending money on those packs was pointless i did so because card pack opening should be exciting in fifa its terrible they give you crap in gold packs like tifos , balls and mangers, and player contracts none of that needs to be in packs and obscures getting players even more. Promo packs and other packs that some times come on sale should be avaliable all the time as i spent real money on gold packs cause i thought those where the only type i could get. Don't buy this game its utterly terrible , unrealistic and trash. I really want to snap the disc in two and chuck it away.… Expand

    I've been playing FIFA since '08 and I can easily say that this game is the WORST one I've ever played. Referees' decisions are just ridiculously awful; the game never feels like it's on your control, defending is nearly impossible, crosses are overpowered. Overall experience is just disappointing. 0/10.

    i buy every year fifa, cause of FUT. BUT this year's fifa is so unreal... New dribling is arcade fun but no realistic. Defending is bad, slow and it's very dependant on just guessing where oponent will run to.
    Most of my online games, are like polo ones: scores like 4-6, 5-7, 6-9 (lol) etc

    worst fifa ever, just about speed players...nonsense penalties, the game is dropping even when you winning that game, when players leave in 2nd minute of their matches it counts as a played match and give you a draw (lesser chance to be on first place) totally 100% not recomended to buy, next year i am going to try PES 2012
